  1. Can somebody explain this to me? I'm woefully ignorant on how the salary cap works. How does having cash on hand help manipulate the salary cap? The cap is the same for all teams, so it's not like Pegula can go into his safe, drill more wells, etc. and "find" money to pay these guys. Relative to each other, shouldn't every team be spending around the same amount year over year on average on players (whether they are on the roster or another team)?
  2. I think we can all agree that Daniel Snider is a PoS, his organization is a perpetual tire fire that will never cease to burn and pollute the NFL. If guilty (I'm sure he is), but if proven- then I hope he's forced to sell the team and compensate the women. That said, it bugs me that this issue is starting out at the level of the US House or Representatives. Surely there are bigger fish to fry within our country that could benefit from the time and attention of the House's committee of Oversight and Reform. Several problems that immediately come to mind that have much more significance than Daniel Snider's philandering are Big Tech, theft of tax payer money by corporations and major institutions of state tax money, corrupt government officials (elected and appointed), censorship & cancel culture, our half a$$ed voting processes and laws (especially at a national level), etc. I remember years back circa 2007/2008 I was at FOB Normandy in Iraq and one day found myself in the MWR (morale, welfare and recreation) building watching US cable news via satellite. The big story that was consuming the nation was the governments interest and involvement in the steroids in baseball scandal. Meanwhile, 150 feet outside the window where I was watching the news, I saw another unit operating out of FOB Normandy conducting a memorial ceremony for (4) of their soldiers that were KIA the previous day. That experience always stuck with me and highlights how a$$ backwards our nations priorities can be. [stepping off soapbox now]
  3. I just need to move some money around...
  4. I like that video of him getting absolutely blown up by one of our DB's or Safety's during our years of futility. I think it was Nate Clemens? Too lazy to look. I also liked when his wife defended him after one of his SB losses to the Giants. That said, he's still the greatest, unfortunately. Too bad for us, but it is what it is.
  5. I somewhat agree with you- but as it stands now, we can't get by the Kansas City Chiefs. They are a talented well coached team with talent at all levels and have their own superstar QB to boot.
  6. We are NOT overreacting simply because there are no guarantees in the NFL and this could have been our best chance to win the Superbowl. What if something happens to Josh in the offseason- our chances to get back into the playoffs would take a SERIOUS nose dive. I just hope we didn't waste our only opportunity w/ this regime because who would have ever thought that a guy like Rogers would only have one Superbowl appearance? Past success does not guarantee future performance especially in a league where things change so quickly.
  7. I wonder if he was in town to maybe meet with the McBean/Pegulas to discuss some sort of non player role for him in the future. Smart guy, well respected. This is all just speculation of course but ya never know.
  8. It's hard to improve a Rembrandt. But put a gun to my head and here is what I think: Touch throws - He's come a long way, but some of his passes could be a little better placed to aid YAC. Body Science - Understanding his body, limits, movement, recovery methods that work for him, etc. Take some kind of self defense class to teach him how to absorb / slide out of dangerous hits (help boost longevity and reduce injury chances) Mental dexterity - Obviously already a very sharp guy, he maybe can focusing on increasing his already very high mental acuity. Reason I say this is that if Daboll leaves as expected, I see Josh taking on more of an on the field coach / field general role al la Peyton Manning. Personal - Take time to relax, be with family, friends and loved ones. Maybe tie the knot with Brittany? Personal and professional lives go hand and hand
  9. Are you serious? Is our current stadium built on Native American burial games? I never knew that!
  10. You're making my point for me. Unlike some of the other franchises you mentioned, we've done everything seemingly right, built a contender, only to lose in the most soul crushing ways possible. This Bills team, like other Bills teams of the past is very good- yet we appear to lose important / playoff games in the most mind numbing ways. -4 Superbowls -Moulds deep pass then Fumble 98 playoffs -The "Just give it to them" game -Music City Miracle -Loss to the Steelers 2nd stringers to make the playoffs -Yesterdays 13 Seconds game I'm sure I could think of more if I gave it time, but you get the point. The teams referenced above were all very good teams that inexplicable lost. They weren't dumpster fire teams wandering aimlessly in football purgatory.
  11. Title says it all and I don't know how we recover as an organization. This sure felt like it was going to be our year. A win today would have gotten us the Bengals in Orchard Park. What do we have to do to get over the hump or appease the football gods? We have a superstar QB who actually outplayed Mahomes.... In KC no less, but our vaunted defense which features 2 high draft picks specifically selected to slow Mahomes we're MIA. Sure we'll field a competitive team next year, but I have ho confidence that we won't "Bills" away another season and and another one the year after. What is it going to take to win a SB? I feel like it's a hopeless endeavor.
  12. Horrible offensive play calling. We need to throw it around a bit.
  13. Nobody else is probably even remotely interested in working inside of a dumpster fire
  14. I say, what ever it takes to get the job done and leave 'em satisfied! https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2022/1/13/22882143/bart-scott-josh-allen-viagra-nfl-playoffs Seriously though... what happens if you pop a woody during the game... I'd be afraid of fracturing my weewee which I've heard is both dangerous and incredibly painful. Can't have 6'5" guys running around with raging hard-ons and not risk a serious injury.
  15. He had a couple of really long, sharp looking passes against KC earlier in the year. Not sure if they were 50+ yards, but must have been pretty damn close to 50 at a minimum. How long was that huge bomb to Diggs in the 1st Pats game? The one that hit Diggs square in the hands, but he dropped. I recall that one being like 45 yards in windy conditions. That said, it seems like there should be more of these
  16. No so impressive considering the interceptions and the lost 4th down conversions
  17. I would take B all day everyday. They easily get three 1st round picks for Lamar
  18. The Ravens have to make a decision on whether or not to pay Lamar. He's obviously a very good player, limited in some respects- yes; but also talented enough to take over a game. But do you give him what could be the biggest contract in league history knowing that he's a big injury and his running skills will deteriorate over time? From what I've seen from Tyler Huntley, there doesn't seem to be a big drop off between him and Lamar. I wonder if he can get even better with more time and reps. I wonder if anybody in their front office thinks that the smart play might be to let Lamar walk if he asks for too much and hitch their wagon to Huntley instead. They have very similar play styles and with how accommodating Greg Roman is, I think they'd be fine
  19. I would love to rig a small air compressor & trainhorn up to my car. Obviously not street legal but man, would that be fun.
  20. Wtf wow... Horrible. He was one hell of a player. RIP
  21. I like McDermott- but I don't think he a Superbowl calibre coach.... yet. We are too inconsistent, make too many costly errors and lack a killers instinct. I think these are all flaws that start from the top down. That said, McD is a young guy and supremely bright and I think he will grow and become better and better the more seasoned he gets. Maybe in the offseason he shuffles his staff a little bit, or tweak's his "Process" (because after all we're not lovable losers any more). Maybe he needs to be a little harder and let the team know that performances like Dawson Knox had last night won't be tolerated.... Whatever it is I think he'll do what needs to be done even if it's currently outside of his comfort zone. And so with that belief in mind, I'm hopeful that Terry's & Kim's approach will be to keep the band together for a while (a la Harbaugh, Tomlin, etc) rather that blowing the whole thing up again. We have a top 5 franchise quarterback that probably hasn't even reached his potential; the hardest thing for any franchise to find. So it doesn't make sense to blow the whole thing up. Incremental improvements from McD in a variety of areas will help our team "tighten up" and I do believe there are some low hanging roster moves that will be addressed in the offseason which should help improve our team in 2022. We definitely aren't the team that we were last year and we've certainly taken a step back; but I believe that all around we have a solid coaching staff and front office, one that is capable of righting the ship. Keep in mind that for all the years that the Patriots were so good, even they had down years. 10-6 seasons following 14-2 SB wins. Their last SB win came on the heels of a 11-5 season...
  22. Plus his really awfully timed false start on our final series making it 3rd-14 instead of 3rd-9
  23. I'd rather they focus on o line / guard thana RB. Unless we're talking Derek Henry or Jonathan Taylor, RBs are a dime a dozen. I think our backs would significantly better with a decent o line (and scheme).
  24. Even if we win, or flaws are fatal, and obvious
  25. This is the worst game I've ever watched
