  1. No offense, but it doesn't matter No action within 1 yard of the LOS (or behind it) will be considered either defensive holding or PI
  2. Always been the rule I had zero doubt that Fuller made a legal play
  3. Boy, I'm not a "fire everyone" kind of guy, but this is a "everyone should be fired" kind of performance
  4. I suppose one could argue Pete Carroll, but I think he learned a lot from his stint with USC Aside from that, the only examples I can think of that could apply are the Raiders with Mike Shanahan, and perhaps the Jags with Tom Coughlin
  5. Stanford looked solid in Spot duty. I think it's a great opportunity to see what a guy who's easily the best athlete on the team can do with a week's worth of preparation against a creative offensive play caller. If Stanford acquits himself well, it could give the staff a chance to consider re-signing him this offseason.
  6. I give the current growth about a 6/10
  7. My 4-day old slept great for the first time last night--must be a sign that today will be a win!
  8. Ever the mercurial wordsmith, Z had an unmatched talent for getting the reaction that he wanted from his readers while teaching them something that they didn't know I consider it one of the great crimes of irony that he spent his last decade on this earth unable to read or write the stories that made him one of the all-time greats
  9. Sure--if we're limiting the list to Bills' top-4 picks instead of NFL top-3 picks
  10. Agreed Personally, I'd rather have the elite prospect than 2 good ones We're not talking about pick #23 here (or even #9)...the post was about trading down from a top 3 pick--a pick at which you should be getting an elite talent; not a top-10 talent Big difference
  11. I don't Why pass on an elite prospect when you're in a position to get one while giving up nothing?
  12. I feel like someone else said something very similar recently:
  13. Sure is...I liked all 5 of these kids and I want to see them all do well.
  14. The neurologist I saw said to double whatever the diagnosed number is and that's probably more accurate
  15. Rosen is lost out there I like the kid, and I still think he'll get it together, but wow...it's really bad right now
  16. I'd sign up for that trade in a heartbeat. I'd probably be fine going into next season with Ivory, Clement, Murphy, and a R4 pick battling for 3 roster spots
  17. Haven't been. I've been to San Diego, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Miami, and Baltimore without any kind of incident at all.
  18. I find that the exact opposite tends to work. Whenever I've gone to opposing venues, I start out by buying beers for the two people flanking my seat(s). Usually, I introduce myself and say something like "I gotta warn you, I'm pretty loud, but I promise to be respectful and not use profanity". Never even came close to having an incident. In fact, people seem to go out of their way to be friendly to me.
  19. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0110413/?ref=m_nv_sr_1
  20. Everything I read said anywhere from 2-10 weeks. Typical football recovery time (albeit for the small sample space) is: 1-2 weeks for Grade 1 3-6 weeks for Grade 2 8-10 weeks for Grade 3
  21. So if I'm reading this right, Allen--who is surrounded by a defensive HC, an OC who's been awful in every NFL stop, and the worst offensive personnel in the NFL--is somehow in a better situation than Watson? As in Deshaun Watson? The guy that's throwing to DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller? The guy with Bill O'Brien calling plays? He's in a better situation than Mayfield? Who has Taylor to learn from and guys like Jarvis Landry, David Njoku, and Duke Johnson to throw to? Whatever.
  22. That movie remains in my top 10 of all time
  23. I didn't say that they would (or should). Now, I wouldn't fault them if they did, but the point is this: if you don't have a franchise QB, and you don't have someone in the fold that you believe can become that guy, then that's what you draft first. After that, you should be taking the best player that you can get your hands on. Drafting for need causes teams to pass on better players, and almost always leads to a dearth of talent.
