  1. Yes, we're also talking about the same Michael Vick who has only been sacked 6 times this year. Their offensive line isn't as bad as you think it is, it's just that it gets more attention because: One, it's the Eagles; and Two, because Vick publicly complained about the hits he was taking. We are also talking about the same Michael Vick who has had better rushing production than almost half of the league's starting running backs.
  2. Say what you want, but (somehow) Peters is a 4X pro bowler and losing him doesn't help their offense. Unfortunately for us, if there's one quarterback that doesn't really need all-pro linemen in front of him, it's Michael Vick.
  3. Jason Peters has a hamstring injury and may miss several weeks of action. Injured Birds
  4. That was the smart play in that situation. The play was 4th and 14 at NE 35, the pass was intercepted by Arrington at the NE 20, and returned to the NE 30. If the pass is incomplete, the Pats get the ball at their own 35 instead of their own 30. Besides getting a first down, or a reception between the NE 30 and 20 (Turnover on downs), this was maybe the third best outcome of this play, where throwing the ball out of bounds or grounding it would have been boneheaded. 90% of the time when you draw up a play like that on 4th down, you force the issue down the field.
  5. Does this mean there will be another, separate, "pat-down" line when entering Ralph Wilson Stadium next Sunday?
  6. Someone needs to balance out all of this d*ck-riding: Cincy 23 Buffalo 14 Running game never gets going, Fitz has an average game (1 TD, 2 INT). Special teams gets burned and gives up a TD and short field to Cincy.
  7. Come on guys. This thread is 2 full pages long and nobody has mentioned that: A) All 3 wins are against AFC teams. (2008: Seattle) B) 2 of the 3 wins are against sure playoff contenders (2008: Jax,Oak,Sea out by December) C) Obviously and most importantly, 1 of the wins is against an AFC East opponent. (2008: 0-6 vs AFC East) To put next weeks 2008-2011-difference-thread to sleep early: if Buffalo finds a way to win this Sunday, they will hold 4 wins vs AFC opponents, which could go a very long way if this team ends up in the 8 to 9 win range at the end of December.
  8. This is just a friendly thread reminder that the Bills are 3-0. That is all. Carry on...
  9. Lincoln Station in Chicago with a bar full of Bills fans and Patriots haters.
  10. NFL.com and BB.com used to offer a highlight video after each game that was more detailed than what the NFL Network puts together, and usually had the audio from the radio broadcast(s). Does anybody know if these are still produced and where I can find this past Sunday's highlights? I would rather hear Murphy's call of the game than whoever did the CBS telecast. BTW the replay of the game is on NFL Network on Thursday, 8 ET. I was at the game and it was incredible. I'm excited to see how the Ralph sounded on TV. Thanks.
  11. Their adding patdowns from my knees to my ankles? Damnit. That was the only part of my johnson that wasn't getting groped during patdowns.
  12. I don't think this Sunday is going to be a breeze like it was in Kansas City. Oakland's defense is tough, and our run offensive line hasn't proven much of anything. Their run game could be trouble as well. That being said, I like our quarterback play and coaching staff much better than what the Raiders have, and that's going to go a long way for us late in the game. Oakland holds a small lead all game until the 4th quarter: Buffalo-24 Oakland-20
  13. Flying in from Chicago just for the home opener. Rockpile 242 Row 9. Former season ticket holder (3 years), haven't been to a game since '08-'09. Go Bills!
  14. This Exactly. It's not an STD and it's not chicken wings. Putting a guy on IR for punishment would be way overboard because it nearly crushes a guy's career.
  15. Really? Any sporting event? ... Anyways, I wish we were playing this Denver team on Sunday instead of Oakland. Their O-line looks absolutely bad and McGahee is their best offensive weapon. These Broncos fans are idiots for calling for Tebow...I hope he can play right tackle... Yikes. Oakland's D looks scary, not looking forward to that next week.
  16. I know they are sold out this coming Sunday, but I think future attendance could have been questionable before yesterday's beat down... #AndrewNicholson
  17. This is an interesting point, and you might be right, not that I would ever doubt a fellow Bona man. Of all the major sports in the U.S., football is the best one to watch on TV rather than live (obviously being there is always more fun). In the case of Kansas City I was always under the impression that they had a very supportive fan base. Yesterday, even during the first quarter, there were significant holes in the crowd.
  18. I like the confidence, hopefully it trickles down to the players.
  19. With around 100 people at the game last night, 50 cars sounds about right.
  20. Looks like he fumbled on the ground but wasn't contacted.
  21. They didn't review the first time, clearly just a discussion by on-field officials. So you have yet to see the first challenge of a review of a call.
  22. This thread can't be real... Anyways, does anyone know the address for the buffalobills.com website? I can't find it anywhere. Oh and if you could let me know how to get to google that would be great too.
