  1. I just don't understand how the organization doesn't understand that the current uniforms suck. Especially the road whites. Just terrible! Everybody likes the throwbacks, why don't we just go to those, except maybe with the charging buffalo on the helmet. The current jerseys are synonymous with a decade of losing. If we're going to lose, we might as well look good while doing it.
  2. Offense looked great, lots of improvement since the first game. Defense must have been out late last night, looked slow and no push from the line until Cincy came out with the 2nd string.
  3. Bengals fans have something to be excited about when the ball is in the air. Two great receivers taking pressure off of eachother.
  4. Secondary is rotten so far. I thought they were supposed to be the bread and butter of this team? So far all we're getting is toast...
  5. Best drive of the preseason so far. Would rather see this over 60 yard touchdowns to Lee and 30 yard touchdowns by our 4th string runningbacks. Nice drive.
  6. Nice throw by trent, should have been caught by our heralded wide receiver. Rest of the 1st offensive series was a bust. Both lines getting manhandled. As I said that, nice work by the line on 4th and 1. Gave nothing up the middle.
  7. You must not remember JP Losman.
  8. This is a great observation. My friend steams a, *gulp*, Miami Dolphins broadcast from south Florida. He said they had a 10 minute segment with Chan Gailey the other day. Bills inverviews and call-ups are few and far inbetween on WGR. I'm living in Chicago at the moment and the AM sports coverage is just phenomenal out here. Something I wish I could bring back to the Buffalo area with me someday.
  9. I agree with most here. The morning show is O.K., it's about what you expect from a morning show, kinda wacky with sports information mixed in with nonsense. I like Howard Simon, I think he's a good radio personality. Certainly not my go-to for Bills information though. Schopp and the Bulldog are unbelievable. Bulldog has never had an original thought and is nothing but a yes-man to Schopp. I've never heard them actually disagree with eachother and debate. Schopp has a case of the Monday's every day of the week and it seems like he really hates dealing with callers. It's come to a point where I feel bad for whoever calls in to disagree with their topical thesis for the day. Most of the time they are disrespectful to their callers. Serious d*ckheads. I do, however, enjoy the field-reporter's camp coverage in the evening.
  10. Until this team can prove to me that Steve Johnson, Roscoe Parrish and James "Supermodel" Hardy (He still exists?) can produce better than an aging Owens, then I'll stand by my claim that I'd rather have him than not have him. We currently have the worst wide-out group in the AFC-E, who has probably the worst QBs in the league throwing to them. How does returning our 2nd best pass-catcher make us worse-off? Stop holding a grudge against the guy just because he didn't live up to the lofty expectations presented by Mayor Brown and the dork dressed in a popcorn container.
  11. Some of you guys are ridiculous. "I wouldn't take him for the league minimum", "I'm sick of seeing him short-arm passes", "This guy was completely useless". Give me a break. Owens still gave us 6 touchdowns, nearly 1000 yards and put butts in seats despite us having some of the worst quarterbacks in the league! I realize these numbers aren't quite worth the money we paid, but put it in perspective. Lee Evans has had less productive and comparable seasons in the past and received a larger check for it, yet everybody here still loves the guy. Riddle me that. If your reason for not wanting him back is because we don't want an old roster, then I'm fine with that. However, don't claim that you wouldn't want a 1st-ballot HOF Wide Out on our team because he "doesn't produce" when our second best receivers are STEVE JOHNSON and ROSCOE PARRISH, who have combined for 39 catches and 3 touchdowns in the last two seasons!
  12. Why is everybody so high on Hardy? He's had a total of 10 catches in his career, is slow, weak and injury prone. I wouldn't be surprised if he's cut this offseason.
  13. I'm with you Clippers. Marshawn is such a character that even with his off-field drama it's hard to hate on him. How many other players in the league had their own theme song after their rookie season? Plus, the footage of him whipping around the golf cart after a Cal win will always be funny. Marshawn rules, screw anybody who thinks otherwise.
  14. No kidding. Really needed a new thread?
  15. Not to mention Jairus Byrd's right arm is TWICE AS LARGE as his left. We've surely got some detectives around here. Oh wait, wasn't #31 diagnosed with Elephantitus during training camp?
  16. It's mostly #1. This also explains why lines tend to move throughout the week (all else equal).
  17. 4 PM for home games that I'm attending. It allows me to go out the night before hand, get a good buzz, sleep in late on Sunday morning, and still have 4-5 hours to tailgate before kickoff. If it's a game I'm forced to watch on TV then I definitely prefer the 1 O'clock start.
  18. Controversy? Who honestly thinks there's a controversy? Fitzpatrick came in an statistically played *worse* than Edwards does. If Edwards would have continued to play like Fitz did and we had won, we'd still be calling for Trent's head...would we not? Does anybody on this site actually look at the numbers... or watch the games for that matter? Fitz was off the mark on every other throw and got bailed out by his receivers half the time. The other half the time he was dumping off to his backs, just like Edwards does! I seriously hope nobody is considering Fitzpatrick the future of this team, here some of Ryan Fitzpatrick's career stats: Starts/G Cmp% Yds YPG TD - INT Rate (15/20) 57.7 % 2798 139.9 13 - 18 66.1 Just for comparisons sake, here are Edwards's Stats: Starts/G Cmp% Yds YPG TD - INT Rate (23/30) 61.2 % 5314 177.1 23 - 24 78.0
  19. I voted Butler and think it was a toss-up between him and Leodis. Mitchell is the only other one in that list to consider. Poz and Whitner back this week, Buggs is a 2nd/3rd string player anyways, Shouman is an average Tight End at best and we have young talent behind him that can be a similar role player.
  20. Meanwhile, Junior Seau is 40 and washed up. Meanwhile, the Pat's old team gets even older. Meanwhile, the Krafts are trying to appease an overreacting fanbase by signing a washed up player that clueless fans think is still worth something because he was good in 2005.
  21. Good question. Both are pretty bad, and neither are really doing their job very well. Right now I'd lean toward the Bills being worse, but god forbid they win this week, then Bills fans won't know which way to turn.
