All I can think of is the contrast between him and other current nfl coaches. Without the inside track to a title, what players want to play for that grump? The wave of opt outs are no coincidence. Gronk quitting and Brady bailing too. Word is out Picture a recruiting battle for a Ufa between McDermott's "family fun and football" atmosphere (along with a team on the come) and belichick's grumpiness. Doesn't even need to be buffalo. Andy Reid, San Fran, any warm weather team, etc. New England has to rate very low right now, mainly due to belichick and the loss of the aura of winning.

No. I feel like it's real and we haven't seen this level of bills team since 1991 It took me awhile this year to get used to not being dead in the water on 2nd and 20 or 3rd and 15. Now, I'm confident that they will convert at a high percentage.

I am hesitant to shovel dirt on them right now. The bills are at a high point. It's possible this sustains for multiple years, please let it be longer... but it's possible we don't see a bills run like this in a long time. This is 1991 Bills level in the conversation as the best team in franchise history. The patriots are at a 20 year low. I don't trust Bill belichick to stay down. I could see him putting together a very competent team, and there are more capable quarterbacks in the world than ever before. I could see him studying and building a defense with the express sole purpose of stopping Josh Allen and the bills offense. I still have nightmares and need therapy for the last 20 years. With that said, there are things I could get behind. I think today's day and age, you need a coach who is smart but also respects players and empowers the individual athlete. McDermott and Reid are examples of that. Belichick's George halas/Vince Lombardi death camp my way or the highway shtick is tired. Without perpetual winning nobody wants to go out of their way to play there for that grump. His drafting has also been awful. Cam we really expect him to nab a team full of starters at this point just because they have a top 15 pick? They knew Brady was going to leave when he did and their succession plan is terrible. That and this season is self-inflicted. I Reading their forums, there is a bit of delusion. I felt the same way back in 00 I remember. Butler and Phillips are gone? Who cares, we will be just fine! Bring on the next phase of perpetual winning.. There is even a thread there about trading up for the #1 overall pick. There is a lack of seeing the forest through the trees in that the bills and dolphins finally seem to have emerged as competent franchises.

I can see NFL Sunday Ticket go to Amazon Prime

Directv is done anyways. The technology is passed by. The only holdout was archaic rules set by the current fcc that favor telecom monopolies. At&t has been trying to squeeze their satellite customers into the overpriced streaming service, and there are too many better and cheaper options. -
It has taken forever - but the Bills ARE feared

How do you not fear this? https://youtu.be/HhNgZb7OxgA -
It's a lot different than that. I was really all in on mcdavid... but I knew the lottery gave us a smaller chance to get him. Eichel was still a sure franchise C, and that means more in hockey. Football there are so many pieces and more variables. I have been looking at their frecently recently. Their fans had Lawrence banked on the jets. I figured there was no way they would win a game myself. Fans have watched his every game, consumed media, and have become emotionally vested in Trevor Lawrence as a Jet for his whole career. There isn't really an eichel here at 2.

I'm sure they are still looking forward to a bright future watching frank gore play decent
-
It seems like their general thought/hope was that the prospect of Lawrence would make the jets very appealing for a top hc and also fa would desire to play there.
-
In sure their fans are excited to see frank gore give a last gasp for the w. Nothing during our drought was nearly that cruel

I would be having a stroke right now if I were a jets fan. Nothing in the drought years was nearly as cruel as this would be -

Your 4 Team Playoff Predictions Please.....

Can we boot notre dame?. I get they bring TV ratings from all the Yankees and patriots fans but it's a guaranteed snoozer blowout -
Dont get me wrong. Im perfectly comfortable with Leipold into perpetuity. It is probably he best we could hope for. Big games, I would consider this one, the Troy bowl game and the N Illinois Meltdown in 2018 (as well as the Ohio stomping). Last year losing every big game in the East. God I couldnt imagine going back with a snake oil salesman meathead like Quinn.

He got it. The official on the field spotted it a bit back There was not enough replay evidence to overturn it and officials historically loathe to overturn spot challenges

Jets Fan Admitting Josh Allen is Better and Why
May Day 10 replied to mykidsdad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its nice to see rival fans give Allen and the Bills so much respect after being in the toilet for nearly 2 decades. Especially compared to the beginning of last year when most of them considered the Jets ready for contention with Darnold and Bell while the Bills would continue being the Bills. This comment kills me days after reading it " So there still evolving and regressing? Wow. In another year Allen will be prime era Dan Marino and Sam will be a pile of primordial ooze."
