  1. haha. cant think of anything bad to say about mcintyre. We are all pretty touchy about it and have a low self esteem about the area and organization. Its always nice to hear someone desires to play here/stay here.
  2. it depends on what happy means. its miserable to be out of the playoffs for over 10 years. 3-10 stinks. But I am cautiously optimistic we are seeing the seedlings planted for a very legitimate NFL team
  3. lol. thats pretty funny.
  4. I dont understand how expansion is so taboo. I realize the scheduling at this point is a perfect balance, but 18 games/season will allow them to restructure everything anyway. and 1000x yes to the Bills being married up with Cleveland and Pittsburgh
  5. I dont think anyone is trying to say trophies will be awarded per higher slots on power rankings. Power Rankings are a fun way to see the ranking of the teams based on the member(s) of the media assigned for the task.
  6. those power rankings are almost completely done up by record
  7. they are just lucky it wasnt Moats running down the sideline
  8. the host better not cross the Moats.
  9. I agree that it would be a madhouse. My friends and I glow with excitement when we speak of the possibility. Fans back in the day of the comeback game were a bit complacent with so much success and home playoff games.
  10. while they are on the right side of the line, is it really necessary and safe to all stand with their toes literally kissing it? You see players driven out of bounds all the time and some violent collisions. Its a very dangerous place and puts the players on the field at risk if everyone is going to stand as close as possible. At least the jerks on the sideline can see it coming and brace themselves.
  11. I was hoping for the top pick when the Bills looked to be not relevant through 5 games. All these bright spots are very encouraging and there really doesnt seem to be that much stratification at the top of the draft.
  12. he is sorry, because it was caught on film
  13. that fat pig of a head coach is your prototypical meathead and this type of crap is built into the culture of that team now.
  14. very good thoughts and pretty much all of it sums up how I feel. This team may be a good off-season away from being a legit wildcard contender. That is a far cry from where I thought they were during the bye week. I thought they were 3 tank-it seasons away. A lot of decent gems, but athletes need to be drafted, signed, and traded for to compliment what has emerged. Hopefully they can find ways to get Spiller the ball with open field as well as Roscoe. The defense really needs to come together and obviously is in the need of the most improvement. I can endure another mediocre or bad season as long as we see continue to see improvement and bright spots.
  15. I think the NFL should really consider expansion
  16. I live in the Philly area and have a season ticket. My friend in buffalo has the other half (along with about 6-8 friends a section over). I make it to 2-5 games a season. The drive home after the games is fun. You see the Bills fans dissipate as you go and I have seen cars decked out with Bills stuff past Binghamton
  17. I really like Harbough. However, In Chan we trust. Chan is the man in Buffalo. I think its a very good sign that this team has been out of contention for 6+ weeks and they play hard and to win every game.
  18. this team reminds me a lot of how I felt about the 1995-1996 Sabres. A transitional year you knew they wouldnt make the playoffs, but all season they upped their game and made life miserable for the best teams in the league. The wins arent plentiful, but there are more bright spots appearing each week. Plus they are lined up for a decent draft position. There is a buzz about this team I havent seen in 10+ years. They went from almost falling completely off the map to having some highly entertaining NFL games and playing the part as a spoiler who nobody wants to play down the stretch. Even Kelsey has looked very strong vindicating his extension which has brought a lot of criticism. Man, if they manage to go 2-1 in the Divisional games down the stretch I will be jumping out of my skin waiting for the 2011 opener. The organization has won me over, and not only that, Im not in the frame of mind that this thing will take 3 bottom feeder seasons. However, they need to follow it up with a strong offseason. In Chan we trust!
  19. Im very proud of this team. I didnt think this would be anywhere near possible before the season and up to the bye week. I work out of town and they get a lot of props from people I work with from NYC and Philly. The Jets fans I know are hoping that there is nothing at stake for week 17 against Buffalo. Very nice job to the players for working so hard and the coaching staff.
  20. I had no idea we had this wealthy "sports ally". Maybe he wouldnt be willing to buy the Bills outright, but I feel a lot better that a group with local interests is indeed possible. As far as Rogers goes, I dont think they can/will be stopped just because they are buying other teams in Toronto.
  21. I yelled No and brought my hands to my face. My friend next to me was celebrating about to give me a hug and I was like "he f'n dropped the f'n thing". I continued to hold my head and rock back and forth as did most people in the stadium.

  23. I think I saw all those people wearing 49er gear a few years ago.
  24. IMO there were way more Bills fans there than Steelers fans. I also found it funny that all the Steelers fans joined in the crowd noise and waived their towels when the Steelers had the ball. Pretty classy fans though, and Im proud of the way I saw Bills fans act.
