Agree 100x. Im glad to hear that it is rumored for 2012. As far as 2K vs EA. It is an absolute crime that 2K hoarded the MLB rights. the last EA MLB game was a masterpiece. As far as football goes, I think Madden has done good overall since 2005, but now year to year it doesnt seem like there are as many improvements as there should be.

Im skipping this year's game. They never make enough improvements with Madden to justify buying it every year.

you cant help but think the Jets are primed for a lot of disappointment. However, I counted the Jets out and bagged on them every step of the way last season and they made me look foolish.

NFC seems like such a crapshoot IMO. It still seems like NO may be a cut above the rest. AFC I agree that Baltimore will be tough to beat.

After a few days thought... Im not a fan of the ending, but it could be a lot worse... most of the time a finale doesnt come close to expectations and could even ruin a series (see Sopranos, The). I think the writers needed some sort of major event and/or major twist at the end. The whole "purgatory" thing was just fabricated from material introduced in the this season. Also, if you look at the final conflict it is pretty unsatisfying. Like WTF was the point of Ben turning in the 2nd last episode? The final fight wasnt good at all, there were much better fights throughout the series. The final resolution to the whole thing was unplug a mysterious plug so light stops shining in a cave, throw the evil guy onto rocks, then plug the thing back in? I saw much better conclusions written by fans on the internet over the course of the past few years. Pretty bad writing here iMO. The series (potentially one of the greatest serieses ever IMO) went out with a whimper. Also take into account that fans have been looking forward to a huge "mind f*ck" at the end for 6 years.

I like the current Bills retros. The blue variety and the white variety. Sabres I like the current 3rd as the dark, and a variation of that done well as the white. Then make the darks and whites retros as 3rds (and 4ths)

Im not an Edwards fan at all, but I dont really hate the comments. I hope he has some fire in his belly and puts his money where his mouth is.

one thing that struck me was when Emerson (Ben) on the pregame show said that his character was originally written for only episodes.

I just think they wasted a lot of time developing stories in the "sideways" world. That time should have been spent with the Island situation. Like someone said, they should have somehow shown what kind of horrific damage the smoke monster would do if the Island was destroyed and he escaped. Like if he escaped from Atlantis in ancient times and completely wiped out Ancient Egypt/most of humanity (just a random idea)

Sabres Bills Cleveland Indians all since about 84 when I could comprehend the concept of pro sports. there are other teams I like. Some NCAA teams too, but those 3 would be the only ones I would run around the streets naked lighting off fireworks if they won a title.

oh yeah. PJ will pay a nice fine for going over. definitely getting the boot for this show. The Hartford one the other night wasnt too shabby either. Looking forward to the MSG shows.

yeah. Pretty much 50% of the setlist was way off the norm. One after the other. they have been giving each show a few treats, but they really poured it on in Boston

ugh. Ive been out here for awhile and I would never root for the Flyers let alone cheer for them. I do like the Phillies in a way but I have no emotional attachment to them.... still a Tribe fan. I loathe the Flyers and Eagles though.

I went to the Cleveland and Buffalo shows and EV didnt mention politics really. Just said that Tim Russert was a fair guy. To a further extent I saw 4 shows in Philly and there was no political talk. Went to a Toronto show last year and he spoke for a minute on health care and raised a couple good points. A lot of PJ fans really hate the political ramblings, but it didnt stop them from enjoying the band. In any given show, you might just have to listen to EV state a view different than yours for 30 seconds to a minute. His biggest message is that everyone should educate themselves and vote on what they think is right.... not necessarily that everyone should vote Green or Dem.

what a great show. The crowd was insane. PJ always puts on an awesome show. You gotta appreciate them live if you like rock music. They always play for at least almost 2 1/2 hours and 25-30+ songs. From night to night they change up the set list a ton. I saw 4 straight shows in Philly last year and they almost got through their entire studio catalog as well as numerous covers. All the songs sounded great and they closed out The Spectrum with a 3 1/2 hour show.
