  1. I booed. That throw was awful and made everyone believe the Jets game was going to continue. But we all cheered like h311 when he was running for those first downs, sold those fakes, and completed passes to Chandler and Johnson.
  2. ^^^ I meant it as an agreement/support. I failed to capture all the quotes, so it looked like I was criticizing you.
  3. Its very short sighted to suggest the NFL looks at merely how many games are blacked out when deciding whether or not to move a team/allow them to relocate. I believe the decision has been made for awhile and the league isnt going to do anything to get in the way of an owner. If you truly believe that the fans of this team are being tested and evaluated for worthiness, then the joke is on you. The Bills are fine and make plenty of money without this.
  4. 2 Regular Season games and Im out. I have been a season ticket holder for awhile. One home game was/is tough enough to accept. No way would I accept 2. 1/4 of the home games out of town. Move the stupid team.
  5. we all left early, when it was 35-3. People were leaving, but many people stayed in the lots the party continued for a long time. It was nice and different leaving a game because the Bills were winning by too much. It was fun, everyone was happy
  6. This makes me feel better about Fitz. They were ready to annoint Cutler/Marshall the new Montana/Rice after week 1... Then he threw 4 INTs against a defense that was supposed to be in disarray. Fitz can be a completely different QB in Week 2.
  7. This really adds fears to my head that the team is gone once RW JR passes. They probably are stalling and dont want a 'buyout' of a lease because that would come off the value of the team the more portable they are, the better the price.
  8. Thats the thing. Its a completely different animal when an owner is in who has a hunger to win. Im hoping we get to experience that
  9. I trust Brandon as far as I can throw him.
  10. good for him (and us)
  11. He is a private man. I believe his wife was at the Bills event Friday. I would think if it was life threatening at that time, she would be in Michigan. Regardless, may he have a nice recovery and the hottest nurses.
  12. meh. He said "New England and the AFC". "Not being scared" in this context is described as Nix having confidence in their ability to compete. Definitely not bulletin board material
  13. really shines a light on how great/tough a job the 'real' refs do
  14. I have always though Murphy is bad. I like him, and his voice, but the way he calls games is poor. He doesnt paint the picture well enough and the intensity doesnt build for each play. He needs to constantly remind the down, yards to go, etc and build to the play. Then during the play he provides zero 'depth perception'. A caught pass is a caught pass and takes way too long to find out whether it was a 3 yard pass in the flat, or a 20 yard pass. He needs to describe the play better.
  15. not sure if it has been mentioned... but does this mean no entry into Canada for the Toronto game?
  16. The Patriots would be a huge improvement
  17. I know he is the enemy now... but good for him. Hopefully he has the fun he wants, but also sets himself up for life after football.
  18. Cleveland is awesome. Just went there this weekend, went to an RHCP show. Oddly, outside in the streets, after the show, "The Shout Song" was being sung very loudly. By many different groups of people. We were walking and coming up alleys were more people singing the shout song... Cleveland is actually pretty awesome. Especially the area where the Arena and Ballpark are. E 4th Street is happening, and the perimeter is also fabulous. Flannery's Pub is the best bar/restaurant I have ever been to. Went to a bar called Huron Point Tavern late night and it was also great (had calzones, pizza, deli sandwiches available in back of the bar).
  19. Im a lot cooler with it now than I was when the Bills seemed uncommitted to winning. Not much could pop my Bills-high right now.
  20. I can live with the one game a year as long as Mr. Wilson is alive and that is what he wishes. A new owner though, I hope that this ends. There are other ways to market up there. People up there love coming down here for games and shopping. Many make a whole weekend out of it. The media up there doesnt seem to be very respectful of Buffalo and to the Bills. That kind of drives me nuts.
  21. I can live with one game. 2 would cross the line though.
  22. how does revenue sharing work with this? Does Ralph just get to keep the $78 Million, and the ticket sales from Rogers gets split with the away team?
  23. I didnt go until I was about 16. My dad was never a Bills or NFL fan though. I wouldnt bring a kid until they are like 12. Not sure how those family sections are. I would never bring a kid to an opposing stadium. Preseason games, it seems are much more family-oriented.
  24. I was up there draft weekend. The paper was delivered to me. They had a small blurb on the 1st round of the draft. They mentioned Gilmore, but only to say that the Bills drafting him was equivalent of receiving coal in his Christmas stocking. It seems there isnt much interest other than to poop on Buffalo.
  25. hopefully, if they have to have it.... it is a 3 year deal, one preseason game each year mandatory, and one non-division game in each of the 3 years.
