  1. It seems every piece of news seems to seep out of this "organization".
  2. if the team was actually successful, they would have to cap season tickets, have a never-ending waiting list, and be able to nudge the prices up and up... whether its Brandon in that role or a monkey in a chair
  3. I agree with you overall.... the problem is, there is nobody currently at OBD who could or should be trusted in choosing said GM. The possible function of the consultant would be to lay out the framework and interview/hire a GM. This was the right move and a better organization beat Pegula to it. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/article-7/Ron-WolfCharley-Casserly-10-Things-to-Know/e816286a-6cf6-4035-ab42-f9a6aa36119f
  4. I dont even want them to think about head coaches until the front office and football program is ironed out
  5. yup. These are all very bad signs.
  6. The Browns 2014 was really a Bills 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.... and so on....
  7. I thought the score was extremely misleading. They got a hole stomped through them on both sides of the ball. Offense and Defense, it wasnt even in the same league. The scoop and score, and broken play to Salas TD were lucky. Goodwin TD was a nice go for it play. The other TD was a BS drive against a prevent defense with nothing on the line. Meanwhile, the Jets just moved the ball nearly every single time and executing nearly every play.
  8. the $1,000,000 question is how did this come about? Pegula? Brandon? Whaley? or Rex?
  9. Whaley knows how to identify defensive prospects. Very good at it. That seems to be all he is good for.
  10. someone drew a cartoon of Murph in the studio today
  11. he could start now by bringing in his consultant/pres of football to have a 15 week window of watching, evaluating, planning, and making phone calls it wont happen though. Its a fantasy of mine that this franchise will get out of the everlasting rut
  12. the 'narrative' was he wanted more money and power. I tend to think there is more to the fire where the "lifers" vs new guys smoke was
  13. This is right on for me. Getting rid of coaches doesnt mean a thing if these same people are allowed to "select" another coaching staff.
  14. Fitz is adequate. He is a good stop-gap. Got them to 10 wins last year and they look like they will be right there again... (10 wins is rarified air here in Buffalo... would love a dream season like that). He is doing his job, they have good players, system, coaching, and preparation around him. Meanwhile they are piling up potential QB prospects looking for the guy.
  15. It was the most packed I have ever seen a halftime in the seats.
  16. Challenging on a 4 yard gain is puzzling Having a 4 minute drill run out of time, spiking the ball on 2nd and 1 and heading to the tunnel eating a timeout is infuriating. The whole strange 3rd and 4th and short exchange in the 4th quarter. Trying to draw them off, burning a valuable timeout and giving the jets time to collect themselves, then going for it and failing was embarrassing
  17. He was really demonstrative last night... and was open a few times. Woods was open too but is more professional and adult about it.
  18. The jets brought on the 2 consultants the bills should have hired and won 10 games in year one and look pretty good now. Its not rocket science and doesnt need to take 5 years of continuity.
  19. Everyone in the world thought the pegulas would and should bring in a vp for football ops. They didnt. Its their fault. Same mistake with the sabres
  20. They got their teeth kicked in tonight
  21. Hire a president of football ops who can sit there and evaluate for the next 15 weeks
