what the heck. It seems this stuff gets more common every year. These preseason/camp injuries are out of control. -
Nice work. If i had a place to store it i would make an offer

Coller is good. He has a bright future. I like Schopp and White. Dont like Bulldog, it feels like he goes through the motions. Simon is kind of in the same boat, however, I feel like management makes him act like the foolish out of touch old guy. When he screws up the act and digs down and talks sports he is brilliant. Murphy runs a good show. Jones is fine

At some point, is someone in the FO accountable?

I remember the first 2 preseason games of 2013. They looked like a juggernaut and I thought Jeff Tuel looked like Tom Brady. Then they started off the season 3-7. I barely pay attention to pre-season games because it means so little and the games are so boring. I tune out as long as I can and it seems that opening day gets here quicker, rather than get caught up in the daily slog of worthless information from camp and these preseason "games". To me, being the 'top rated team' analytically based on preseason games means nothing. Being a poorly rated team would also mean nothing. To be honest, right now I am in my typical 'optimistic' phase for this season. I am excited and hopeful they can have a quick start and maybe weather that (apparent) brutal mid-season stretch. If they can get through it, hopefully they will have a rejuvinated Shaq Lawson and Dareus join mid-stream. The offensive weapons and coordinator are in place for the second year, and the Ryan brothers' specialty is defense. -

Being week 2 preseason analytical champs according to a website feels nice. Actually... its probably a high point of the last 10 or so years. Hopefully it translates to a meaningful December game. -
It depends on what you like... I prefer sandboxy/RPG free-world games. Witcher 3 may be the best ever. Fallout 4 is pretty good too. Sports you have Madden 17 which came out today.... and of course MLB The Show. The new NHL game coming up in September shows a lot of promise (Im buying it for the first time in about 3 years).

Pegula made it clear that this is Year 1 or Year 1 just ended or whatever. (IMO we are definitely in Year 4, arguably 7, arguably 11) In your opinion, when would the front office be accountable (above Whaley)? If this season is bad (3-7 wins)... and next season is too... should they just try to replace the coach again? Replace Whaley and keep the coach? Fire and replace both of them? Do nothing? Or should they cut a little deeper in this case? Bring in someone from the outside to build a full program? -

Imo that wouldnt cause changes. I think the wheels will need to come off both in record... and also player mutiny and/or infighting among fo and coaching. Even then, we will see either rex or whaley gone. The other one stays and "year one" starts again. A relatively drama free 7-9, 6-10...even 5 wins will be good enough to maintain continuity -

Belichick with the Patriots: 16 Seasons 187-69 22-9 in the playoffs 4 Superbowls Won Division 13 times Meanwhile, in Buffalo: 16 Seasons 105-151 0-0 in the playoffs Finished last place 9 times, second-last 5 times (finished in 2nd twice (yay!)) I would have taken the Belichick... even with all his "shortcomings" -

I'm not mad, no need worry about that. If Marrone cant/shouldn't get a sniff anywhere. Why was he hired here and who hired him? (after leaving 'no stone unturned')? Why does this person(s) continue to get free passes and Year-1 resets? In fact, I recall having this same discussion prior to that Oakland game after the Green Bay win, and the same people here who now put down Marrone, were pushing him as a wonderful hire and a legit NFL COY candidate. A true feather in the cap of OBD. -

Very uninformed? I have been watching and following sports religiously for 30+ years and know the difference between good organizations and bad. I have been saying the same or similar thing for almost 10 years now, many of those on here, only to be questioned like I have no clue... people yelling 'continuity' and 'year 1' (when all I see is continuity). You look at the tea leaves and you see dysfunction. Marrone walked his career off a cliff rather than be here with Wilson's 'lifers' (the second coach to do so in a decade). Someone there seems to like to float nuggets/leaks out there... and it looks like most are aimed towards Whaley. Plus people were 'badmouthing' Polian which apparently made him rethink his desire to come in and help. It is a bad and poisonous front office who have accomplished less than nothing. Have they had a meaningful week 16 or 17 game in a decade? I also was educated in and worked in sports for about a decade, including a stint at the Bills (in the Donahoe era) Trust me, I want them to do good. Would be delighted to have an event free camp/preseason and the Bills to roll... -

To me, the organization lacks cohesion from the top down. Still have all the wilson legacy guys protecting their spots of power and influence, then you have whaley.... who may have skill in defense player projections but seems laid back... and this firebrand showman head coach. Jets fans and media warned he lacks discipline, and spews too much hot air and we have seen they are probably right. Everyone seems to report individually and directly to the owners, who dont know how to put a winning program together either. Imo this structure isnt sustainable. They need a strong, outside voice to build a winning football program from the studs out. I can already see where this is going. Mid november Either this season or next, when they are out of it, there will be a power struggle between rex and whaley. One will win, one will go... then we will have everyone call out "year zero" again while russ brandon whispers "continuity" in the fans' ears. -
For naming rights, you cant ask for a better partner than a hat!sports apparel company with a cool and applicable name? On wilson... i could take vegas' side to some degree... and imo the team staying is one part pegulabucks and one part the timing of mr wilsons passing... But im not in the mood to continue to tear him down and dont see what good it does. The bottom line is he is the father of the buffalo bills and they are still here on solid footing. He should have the highest honor on the history of the team.

I dont know. The kid was left alone on an island with like a 50 iq... up against a team of trained professionals with unlimited time. With that said, rags is onto something. He is already challenged, couldnt finish his education, spent some impressionable years in prison, and is going back to a lower class socioeconomic situation. He has a stacked deck against him.

Get the kid home so he can finally watch some wrestlemania

I love Pegula. However, he severely botched the Sabres' transition and it took him about 3 years to figure out that throwing money at bad management and problems only amplifies them. He reluctantly changed and brought in outside eyes when the fans were making home games a very hostile (and embarrassing) atmosphere. Even then he took half-measures, trying to get Ruff out (early after an offseason and a lockout when it should have been done long before)... and then finally cleaning house and installing management and outside eyes early in another season (when it should have happened at the beginning of the offseason). IMO he has done the exact same transition here. Im fine and in a good place. Under Wilson I was a little more 'desperate' because I really thought the clock was ticking off on our opportunity to watch the Bills win in Buffalo. Fans were becoming more despondent and it would have helped the NFL justification to relocate them.
