  1. The Bills last 3 choices were 2 NFL assistants and one ex- head coach of the Bears and interim HC of the Detroit Lions. Greg Williams was the DC of Tennessee Titans. When Tom Donahoe lost his power struggle with Bill Cowher and left Pittsburgh he brought in Mike Mularky who was OC for the Steelers. 2000 8-8 Wade Phillips fired, GM John Butler leaves for SD and takes Doug Flutie 2001 3-13 Rob Johnson QB Greg Williams and Tom Donahoe hired 2002 8-8 Drew Bledsoe 2003 6-10 Greg Williams fired 2004 9-7 Mike Mularky HC hired 2005 5-11 Tom Donahoe fired and Mularky resigns 2006 7-9 Dick Jauron HC and Marv Levy GM hired 2007 7-9 2008 Marv levy leaves.team takes a nose dive again Lord I'm sick of trying maybe coaches and maybe GM's, Clearly it was Bill Cowher that was the smartest guy in the room when he and Tom Donahoe were drafting players. Screw this losing crap... Hire Bill Cowher as GM and head coach and pay him as such.Or hire Cowher as GM and Dick Lebeau as head coach. The bills won't win until they get some major brains from somehwere. Ralph Wilson got super lucky when he promoted Bill Polian to GM,the guy is a genius. He found a diamond in the rough and then fired him over a struggle with Jeffrey C. Littmann Treasurer in 1993, What a monumental mistake that was. The Bills could have been in another 8 super bowls and won 5 of them by now.
  2. Blah Blah Blah, everyone complained about how slow London Fletcher was and what a bad player, same crap different player. Some Bills fans couldn't get rid of him fast enough. Well the redskins are happy to have him, He is the anchor of their D and doing very well.Just keep complaining about a players first full season at his position. I know Donte Whitner sucks also,so slow,to far back in coverage. Lets not forget all the complaining about Leodis McKelvin... right up until the time he started making big plays. Lets not forget to bash Lynch some either, just because he is in a system that ignores his talent and throws the ball most of the time... its still his fault.
  3. He is not promising in my view! He has 10 years of being a back up QB in the NFL, He has 10 years of being an assistant coach in the NFL. He has been on two super bowl teams. Why doesn't he get that in order to win you can't force a young QB into constant passing situations!!! Why doesn't he get that running the ball will win games? Sorry, but if he doesn't understand these simple facts by now he never will. Jauron is a complete Idiot for hiring him and will lose his job for it! The Bills need to scrap the passing game except for play action passes! That and pass only in third and long situations and perhaps they might have a better chance to win. Relying on JP to win games is simply stupid.
  4. Turk "shotgun" Schonert is a rookie for certain! But sorry, that doesn't give the guy a pass on all the stupid plays he has called this year. Like he called shotgun on 3rd and ONE 3 times in that New England game,So the next play was a punt. THREE drives killed by stupid play calling. The one time he called a run on third and one it went for a first down. The guy has neglected the running game all year in favor of trying to make the QB win games. As soon as the Bills get behind in a game even as little as 3 points out comes the shotgun play and constant throwing. What you don't get is .... It is the play callers fault for ignoring Lynch in the 4th QTR of that 49er game and placing the entire teams fortunes on a back up QB.He is so busy forcing the backup QB make plays that he neglects the real stars on the team in Marshawn Lynch and Fred jackson. What makes you think he will get better,he has gotten worse the last few games.
  5. Turk "Shotgun" Schonert is a moron of biblical proportions. He had Marshawn Lynch with 134 rushing yards against the 49ers and used him ONCE in the 4th QTR. The guy thinks he has Drew Brees as his QB and keeps calling passing plays from the shotgun, not realizing he has a back up QB that has had very little playing experience this year. My only hope is that the owner wakes up and fires this fool and the head coach who hired him.
  6. From Pro Football weekly on Charlie Casserly who should be the next Bills GM.That is IF the Bills actually want to win games next year. “When you look at Charley Casserly’s last draft in Houston, you’ve got to give him some credit. Mario Williams and DeMeco Ryans are Pro Bowl players. Eric Winston has been solid. Owen Daniels is emerging as one of the game’s best all-around tight ends. (Casserly’s) last draft was a helluva draft. The biggest problem he had in Houston was building the offensive line. He paid a lot of veterans in the supplemental draft that never panned out. But he has hit on high picks. Dunta Robinson has turned out to be a better cornerback than DeAngelo Hall. Andre Johnson has become one of the premier receivers in football. And he uncovered some late-round gems, if you can call them that — guys like (Buccaneers DE) Greg White and C.C. Brown.”
  7. I love how people that get any little speck of a thought in their head and go off on a tangent criticizing the few bright spots on the team and get other morons to agree with them and their retarded ideas. Leave the 1/2 way decent players alone and focus on the real problems with the current team. Leave the Poz, Whitner, Lynch alone willyas! Ive heard from several NFL *commentators* that the Bills have some really good talent on offense and can't figure out how to utilize it. Why not complain about the SIX points scored in the last two games, it means the offense has the major problems right now and not the defense. Specifically the running game,or should I say the lack of a running game. A power running game would help this team so much!!!! It would help the QB because they would rely on him to hand it off in play action plays and keep the opposing defense guessing whether it is a passing play or running play! The offense could pick and choose when the QB throws instead of the shotgun every play and showing the opposing defense its a passing play or a draw out of the shotgun, which BTW that draw really failed against the Dolphins. It would help the defense because the offense could eat up the clock and keep the D fresh and on the sidelines. Don't tell me this team can't run the ball because they don't even try to focus on running the ball. Marshawn Lynch had a "hot" hand against the 49ers running the ball,16 rushes for 134 yards and touched the ball once in the 4th QTR!!! they stopped using him when they needed him most, WHY??? I'll tell you why, its the play caller!!! Fred Jackson is a play maker for the Bills and he hardly touched the ball this past game, not using one of your best players makes no sense. It almost impossible to field a decent defense when the offense goes three and out all game, and when they do get a drive that gets them into scoring position what do they do? Call a freaking pass play... putting all the responsibility to win the game on the BACKUP QB! This current offensive coordinator is the biggest moron the bills have had in years. He thinks he has Drew Brees as his QB and constantly calls shotgun passing plays. Instead of realizing his play calling should be restricted to mostly running plays because he has a back up QB on the field who hasn't had much playing experience this year. The owner says its lack of talent... I say that is BS , its the lack of brains by this coaching staff. The Bills offensive play caller =Turk"shotgun" Schonert, and he is a and Dick Jauron is a for hiring and supporting that * fixed, contaminators. I suppose it went over some
  8. I'd take anyone over Jauron about now. I honestly like the guy and want to see him succeed. He just went with the wrong offensive coordinator and line coach, both rookies and have just killed this team this year.
  9. This is more then likely true,he will be able to pick his city rather then take the lions or buffalo jobs, maybe Jacksonville
  10. I had always considered Dick Jauron a smash mouth football type of guy. Someone who built a power running game and a stout Defense. He has showed me different,a pansy passing attack with a bend but don't break defense and now even the special teams has turned soft ...and Ralph Wilson thinks its about talent.
  11. Dunno why some people never learn that no matter how many franchise QB's the bills trade for or draft that NOTHING will change. This coaching staff would manage to screw up Brett Farve,Drew Brees,Phillip Rivers ect. I see at least 4 games the Bills could have won this year if they had only focused on running the ball more. This OC calls a run and if it fails to gain yardage he gives up on the ground game completely. In fact this OC calls plays like the Bills have an elite QB,which they don't.
  12. Perhaps you think that McDaniels would take the Job in Buffalo with no other factors involved, I don't! Allowing him to bring Cassel with him would show a commitment to him and give him a comfort that he knows he has a QB that can get the job done.
  13. Fire Jauron and hire Josh McDaniels as head coach, From the pats website Josh McDaniels enters his eighth NFL season and his eighth season in New England. He joined the Patriots on March 1, 2001 as a personnel assistant in the scouting department and assisted the defensive coaching staff for three seasons. He began serving as the Patriots' quarterbacks coach in 2004 and was named offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach on January 20, 2006. McDaniels oversaw an offense that broke several NFL records in 2007, including points scored, touchdowns scored and most players scoring a touchdown. Under his tutelage, 2007 NFL MVP Tom Brady broke the NFL record for touchdown passes in a season (50) and led the league in both passing yards (4,806) and passer rating (117.2). Brady also set franchise marks in nearly every major passing category, while new wide receiver Wes Welker set the franchise record for receptions in a season (112). New acquisition Randy Moss broke the NFL record for touchdown receptions with 23 and set the Patriots' franchise record for receiving yards in a season (1,439). The Patriots offense also posted the franchise's highest average yards per rush in 22 seasons with 4.1 yards per carry and the team's 17 rushing touchdowns were the second highest total in the last 20 years. Then the Bills grab Matt Cassel in free agency! Double whammy against the Patriots....I like It!
  14. So your saying that even tho he took over from Lou Saban and had a crap GM that he will never be a decent head coach because he has one horrid season? The guy can build an amazing offense with a ROOKIE QB, think what he could do with Edwards.
  15. Horse hockey! It won't help the Bills win scoring 3 points a game
  16. The people criticizing Cam Cameron, let me ask a question. What was Jimmy Johnson's first year at the helm of the Dallas Cowboys. He had one year in Miami and yea it was horrid but that doesn't discount what he did in San Diego and what he has done for that Raven offense this year, simply amazing. I'll take progression over regression any day,the Dolphins could have only gotten better. The Bills will finish this year at.....?
  17. The San Diego Chargers went 14-2 a few years ago with Marty Marty Schottenheimer as head coach and then he was fired by the GM because they didn't get along. It had something to do with Cam Cameron being hired away to be the head coach of the Dolphins and Marty wanted to bring in is son to run the offense. Actually Brian Schottenheimer is currently running the NY Jets offense and not doing a bad job. The point here is that my take on why the Chargers were so great that year is because of Cam Cameron. LT excelled in Camerons offense and since he left LT hasn't been even close to the same player. Or the offensive running game for that matter. Did anyone catch the Mon night game between the Ravens and the Redskins? I watched in absolute awe as the Ravens pounded the ball on the ground against a decent defense. Cam Cameron had the O line using an "unbalanced" line which ment that it used 3 O Tackles and they shifted from a regular formation to three tackles on one side, It was unreal. Then they just pounded the ball. A 12 play drive that lasted 8 min and 11 of those plays were running plays and the last play a play action TD pass. The Ravens had a real fullback blocking for Laron McClain the other fullback and it was glorious the way they dominated on the ground. I nominate Cam Cameron as next Bills OC or even HC
  18. Stop teasing me with questions like> Jauron gone?
  19. Maybe you want to give him another year of the constant shotgun play calling but I don't, the guy is a tool! Why don't you get it that he has been in the NFL for (20+?)how many years and he still has no clue how to build a successful offense? C'mon he stinks of highest magnitude. He has been on a super bowl team and he obviously has learned nothing from that experience. To me he has gotten worse these last few weeks. He could have Drew Brees on this team and he would still manage to screw him up.So 9-4...no way
  20. Your actually trying to blame the QB for the play calling? Turk "shotgun" Schonert who refused to use play action passing plays before the week 11 Cleveland game? This is the same offensive coordinator who called upon#23 once in the fourth QTR of last weeks game after he had owned them the first 3 QTR's running the ball, instead he tried to get the back up QB to win the game... You could put a helmet on a frog and send it to play and Schonert would try to make it throw out of the shotgun all game long.
  21. I'm hoping that Ralph Wilson stating that it isn't the coaching and its lack of talent is the proverbial "vote of confidence" for this coaching staff. But then I was hoping JP would get knocked out of yesterdays game so Hamden could play. Perhaps then this OC might scale back the passing and actually try and get a running game going. If its lack of talent that caused the bills to score 6 points in 2 games I'd like to know where that lack is exactly located.. Because it appeared to me that the Bills still only focus on trying to make the passing game work and when any team is as one dimensional as this Bills team is they are easy to stop. I"m thinking that any one of a number of coaches would be able to produce more offense that this staff did these last 2 games. The Detroit Lions are looking at the Bills right now and laughing...2 games,6 points
  22. I know if I were playing on this current Bills team I'd have some sort of Injury.... maybe a foot problem or something
