  1. Anyone in the Buffalo/Rochester area needs to check out Big Ditch Brewing's beer. It's my favorite. My best friend's brother is the head brew-master and they do a great job, especially with their IPA's. If you're a fan of DIPA, Deep Cut is amazing and won the award for best heavy IPA in NYS. Their regular IPA called Hayburner is always fantastic.
  2. Checking back in. I took your advice. Turns out the "limp wristed B word" could bench about 450. I'm currently on the run.
  3. I'll go with my usually routine: Breakfast: 2 hard-boiled egg whites, 1 hard-boiled egg w/ sriracha Snack: Raspberries and blueberries Lunch: Spring mix salad with green peppers, broccoli, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, celery, and croutons Lite caesar dressing
  4. What is their problem with toasting? Toast my freaking english muffin on my breakfast sandwich, or bagel, or whatever. No matter how much you ask for it, it's always not toasted or not toasted nearly enough. I love everything else about TH but that really grinds my gears.
  5. Agreed. Listened to several times in my first car. RIP.
  6. I just signed up to drive in WNY when it becomes available. Any tips, tricks, or help for a first time driver? I don't anticipate driving all the time as I work a lot 6-7 months out of the year, but the other 5 months are slower and I'd have more time to drive.
  7. Tim Horton's for coffee. I'm not much of a danish or sweets for breakfast guy. On the rare occasion I do have a donut, it has to be Paula's. No competition. Chocolate glazed peanut is to die for.
  8. Pretty simple solution, leave. Nobody's forcing you to be here. It's like you're complaining to your new girlfriend about how much you miss your old girlfriend. Can we dump you?
  9. "I go to the gym so infrequently that I still call it the James." -kid I went to HS with.
  10. Defenders is next on tap with all 4 of the characters. Curious to see how it plays out.
  11. I understand your guys reason for thinking, but that only applies to a specific part of the game. What about accidental collisions that could not be avoided? Say perhaps two defenders going after a ball carrier from different sides accidentally going head to head? Or a defender tackling low and getting kneed in the head? How would having less padding affect those situations?
  12. Girls love steak, with a side of steak for dinner. Trust me. Bring out the whiskey and the cigars as well. You'll be golden.
  13. Like there hasn't been other threads hijacked by another topic. I swear 8/10 threads turn into a Tyrod argument. Speaking of that, what does Tyrod pay in taxes on his home?
  14. $3,800 for a 110K house in WNY. Looking at some of your low taxes makes me want to puke.
  15. I feel like your black eyes are looking into my soul. Thanks for giving me nightmares, freak...i mean teef.
  16. My greatest memory of visiting Dallas was ripping a blunt on the grassy knoll.
  17. TAP festival was this past weekend. Here are some of the winners from the event. http://tap-ny.com/cups.html
  18. My parents own a condo in Cape Canaveral so we try to get down there a few times a year. My wife and I are going for 9 days at the end of the June, then we're going to surprise my dad down there in early August because he's retiring and doesn't want a big party. Should be a couple fun trips full of drinking, eating, beach, pool, drinking, and eating.
  19. As I said, I liked the start but the second half of the series just didn't do anything for me, especially the Harold plot line and Bakuto.
  20. Klimek's Tavern on Oliver St. in North Tonawanda. Some of the best wings, fries, and blue cheese around. Still very cheap ($6 for 10 wings). Bottled beer is $2.25 and a low key atmosphere. You walk into the kitchen to order. Cash only. Only negative about the place is the owner kind of opens whenever he wants depending on events and such. There's been a few times on Saturday's we've pulled up at 6:30 and it still wasn't open. Food is phenomenal though.
  21. Got drunk on Thursday night on 4 Southern Tier IPAs and 5 VO Gold Manhattans (I think?), spent most of Friday morning in a total fog at work. Did 1,000 meters in the pool at lunchtime to try and break my fog but that didn't work that well. Took a quick nap after work and went to the Remington Tavern in NT for dinner with the wife. Had a great meal and relaxed at home the rest of the night. Relatively quiet rest of the weekend due to responsibilities. Couldn't even have a few beverages during the Master's because I had a school fundraiser to attend.
