  1. Another one gone way too soon. RIP Chester. Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory was my favorite album in middle school. I listened to it probably more than all other albums combined. Although I wasn't a big fan of their more recent stuff, their first two albums were a big party of my teenage years.
  2. You can get some really nice polos at TJ Maxx for cheap. I got two Under Armour polos for $25 there last month. If I won the $100, I'd take my wife to a nice meal over the weekend.
  3. Find a zero percent interest credit card, open up an account and put the vet bill on that. Then in two months (Sept. when you're expenditures settle down) you can start paying it back. Even if you can't find a zero percent card, the interest is probably well worth helping your dog.
  4. Lol. He married my good friend's sister. Really nice, cool guy.
  5. "If you ever get lost in the woods, f*** it, build a house. I was lost, but now I live here. I have severely improved my predicament." "I write jokes for a living, I sit at my hotel at night, I think of something that's funny, then I go get a pen and I write it down. Or if the pen is too far away, I have to convince myself that what I thought of ain't funny."
  6. Knowing Jasper somewhat well, I find it pretty funny that he's your avatar lol
  7. As I'm reading this I'm eating a salad with broccoli, celery, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, spinach, and sweet peppers in it so I'm good with most veggies. I cannot stand olives. Black, green, doesn't matter. They're disgusting.
  8. I used to be really worried about this when I used to use mass texting to communicate practice plans with my players and players parents. Now, we use an app called "Remind" that is separate from texting and much easier to use.
  9. My buddies and I decided to try and watch the entire imdb.com Top 250 movie list. None of us finished, we pretty much all got bored with it but this movie stuck with me. You get so much information about the plot of the movie in the few minutes it's amazing.
  10. Congrats mead! Thanks for the "happy birthday" every year. Cheers!
  11. Hahaha. I bet you're not the only one this has happened to. Never to me but my phone is constantly connected to a bluetooth for music and can see how it could easily happen.
  12. I remember hearing that it might be delayed two weekw after the June 29th start for Uber? But I think that's it.
  13. If you're going to do something stupid, do it smart.
  14. Have fun! Only time I went to Jamaica we stayed at Riu Montego Bay and we're not big fans of the overall resort. It was cheap so we definitely got what we paid for. I've heard other resorts are far superior down there. I'm off to Cape Canaveral on Saturday until July 3rd. Parents have a condo that's about a one beer walk from the beach. Also heading to South Beach for 3 days to visit with my buddy. Can't wait!
  15. Kawaan Short was a monster in Carolina's D. Dareus will be even better.
  16. I was driving by yesterday and it looks like they are also getting their windows done. Truck out front was a Stockmohr truck. I have no idea about costs or anything but the work they did on the siding was well done. http://www.stockmohr.com/
  17. I went to college for Physical Education and Health. Graduated 7 years ago. The field is so saturated with teachers losing their jobs as well as being a pretty popular major that I've struggled finding permanent placement. I've had a few long-term placements ranging from 3 months, to a full year of subbing but nothing permanent or even with the ability to advance to full-time. I could probably move down south and get a job in a day, but I have a house, family, and friends here so it's not really an option for me. I've been coaching in the school district for 6 years which is GREAT part time pay and something I love to do. I also substitute part-time, as well as have a flexible office manager job at a small tool shop. I guess you could say I'm not using my Phys. Ed. degree very much, except for substituting, but the coaching aspect has been a huge part of my life. I have the option of taking over this tool shop full time, but I've been so focused on getting a teacher job that I've kind off put any training or learning on the back burner for this career which is now looking more and more like a possibility. I've thought about going back to school for finance, or business to better understand how to improve what we do but also don't want to totally give up on teaching. I've been at this crossroads for a couple years and still am on the fence. Those tool shop is somewhat of a dying industry, and we have been kind of hanging on by a thread, but ever since Trump got elected we've been increasing sales more than I can ever remember.
  18. I got nothing, sorry. My neighbor behind me just got his siding done by two guys and they seemed to fly through the project. If I can get a hold of him, I'll see who he used. It looks well done. We've had some terrible experiences at my business with contractors so I find it hard to trust anybody anymore.
  19. I watched the first season and the New Year's episode from a few months ago, but haven't started the second season. I like it but can see how it's not popular with the general crowd. Also, I was reading somewhere a while back that it is a ridiculously expensive show to shoot. I'm sure that has a lot to do with it.
