  1. Remember statistics are for losers. get over this.
  2. Why is an early second round pick a diamond in the rough? He should be qualified. Joel Bell and Demetrius Bell qualify as diamonds in the rough.
  3. I read a lot on Peters prior to his draft. The big knock on Peters, some had as one on the top TE's in that class, is that he was lazy and undisciplined and hated to work out. Only after his senior season when it was time to put up or get a real job up did he go back to U of Arkansas and start working out.
  4. Youbouty would be a great name. I am hoping he becomes a world class player as i'd buy a jersey with that name on it.
  5. George Allen said to always chalk up one extra loss for every rookie starter on your team. We'll be lucky to be 5-11 with the schedule and all the rookies that will have to start.
  6. The quote is redundant not self contradicting. from, The Department of Redundancy Department.
  7. Walker is a right tackle playing left tackle. Wood is a rookie center playing guard. Hangartner is a center playing center. Levitire is a rookie tackle playing guard. Butler is a guard playing tackle. Sounds like a pig and a poke.
  8. chase coffman is going to be a stud. I think he is actually a better receiver than j macklin. I'd love to see him fall but I doubt it will happen.
  9. Jerry jones will bl0w his first round pick on ESPN. But that is not a surprise prediction is it?
  10. #11 pettigrew, he wont be there after 18. #28 mack. Two future all-pro's. All the DE/OLB (Maybin, Brown, Ayers) have question none seem perfectly suited. #42 Barwin or English
  11. I had no problem with Holcomb, McGahee, Spikes or some of the aging vets like Lawyer Milloy and Troy Vincent being let go. I do have a problem with pro bowl capable players in their prime being let go, Pat Williams, Antoine Winfield, Jason Peters, and even Nate Clemens. All good teams find a way to wrap up their key players long term. Who do we wrap up long term..Kelsay and Schobel. Looks black and white to me.
  12. According to most of the contributors to this board, anyone that starts for the Bills sucks.... even if they made the pro bowl and anyone that rides the bench is a future all-pro. According to management its best to get mediocre players or else you have to pay them market rates.
  13. Take Defense at #11 and Alex Mack at #28. Move Hamgartner to LG and Bell / Chambers at LT. TE in Rd 2 and OG in Rd 3. If Pettigrew falls to #28 grab him than take the next best center in rd 2 and OG in rd 3.
  14. Why did they bother signing Owens for a year and then go do this? If you are rebuilding, which we are doing again now, why get an aging star. This team will go absolutely no where next year. Then they will fire Jauron and Fewell, Then we will move to a 3-4 and all the kitty's we just drafted to play the Tampa defense won't fit the new defense and we will have to re-tool again. What a freaking joke.
  15. With his blocking ability, Pettigrew is great help the run game and with pass protection when we hold back the tight end. He has great hands as a reciver. It is like getting three players in one.
  16. C but keep the 3rd pick and draft Chase Coffman TE Missouri, you will forget Sheffler real quick.
  17. My drinking buddy has short arms and deep pockets.
  18. He should rot in jail but he won't and as long as he plays football well people will not care. Case in point Leonard Little St Louis Rams. Killed a mother of three while driving drunk in St Louis. Leonard did not miss a down.
  19. We must sign Peters. We can't keep allowing our best players to leave in their prime. Winfield, Clemens, Pat Williams, etc. It forces us to spend high draft picks are positions that were once solid. The cost to develop a new LT through draft picks, trades or signing old pros is too risky and keeps setting the team back. Sign Shaffer and between the guys signed and drafting a G or C in round three the O-line should be set for a few years. Drop down a few slots and draft Pettigrew in round 1 and we should be able to pound the ball as well as throw the ball all over the field. It would be a very tough offense. Take a DE/LB in Round two, Ayers or Johnson may still be there. Get LB depth in round four or round 3 if we get an extra pick for dropping back in round 1. Remember too we also have five Def players coming back that hardly played last year...Schobel, DiGiorgio, Bowen, Youbouty & Ellis. Bowen and Ellis should step up as useful depth and special teams, Digiorgio and Youbouty are quality back-ups and potential starters.
  20. He sounds like a TE that plays for the 49ers...
