Look at Lee's numbers from last year, last ten games he sucked. I'd be hard pressed to call Lee a good number 2. Roscoe will be gone he needs to be on a good team where he can hide and then come out to make a big play now and then. He has nowhere to hide on this team.

It is not a hurry up offense like the K-gun. It is just a no huddle. Albeit a slow, dull, listless no huddle with no imagination and no force. Do not confuse DJ & Turk with two people that know what they are doing.

What gets me riled is that we were 1-8 vs the 3-4 defense last year and last year Trent said it was difficult because they never practiced against it. They will probably play the 3-4 D 8 to 10 times this year. Last night he said it was the first time many on the the team saw the 3-4. I don't claim to be a coach or very smart but why wouldn't the Bills set their D up in practice as a 3-4 so the offense can get some reps against it? At least so they can know what to expect is coming, like a bull rush by a rookie lineman that makes our vets look like a bunch of pu$$ie$. A post a while back someone proclaimed.."What will Bellicheck do against this offense?" Like it would be a problem for him. The answer is he will eat it up and spit it out.

I agree totally, he is a conservative play caller and changing to a no huddle does not mean more creative play calling it just means conservative plays are called at the line. Outside of his play calling DJ will cost us at least two games with his game day coaching misuse of timeouts and red flags & generally not knowing what to do when time is running down and the game is on the line. I am okay with the Bills Oline for pass blocking. I have not seen anything that makes me think run blocking will be any different than it was the first 4 or five games of last year. Once Peters came back and got some rust off the running game improved by the 5th game or so.

What KD says plus that he is playing behind a brand new offensive line and needs time to gel with that line. He has a new no huddle offense to learn. It is intuitively obvious that playing him now is essential for him to be in the best football shape in week 4. Sitting him in the preseason as extra punishment for smoking pot in a car is ridiculous.

UP. I thought Mace did a great job yesterday as did most of the second unit D line. Roscoe played like he was fighting for a spot. Ya gotta like Jenkins. The Pats sign a player simply to counter a move the Bills make? I doubt that the Pats take the Bills that seriously. C'mon, they beat us 15 straight or something, most games are blow outs, they get Brady back and they react to us signing a WR? The Pats are focused on signing players that will help them win Superbowls not beating a sub .500 team.
