  1. We left a lot of points on the field due to Chan Gailey's opinion of Lindell's range.
  2. Marijuana isn't known to cause physical dependency. Behavioral dependency is a different story though, as any friend/spouse of a pothead can tell you. My opinion is that nothing is terrible in small doses. A weekly cigar out on the links or passing a joint with your buddies on the weekend are nothing more than small pleasures...for the non addict.
  3. The court of public opinion weighs consequences and not actions. That's backwards but it's the way things work.
  4. I won't wail about the QB situation until the draft is over and we don't have a young prospective starter. Having two guys like Fitz and Tarvaris on the roster isn't unusual...it's regarding them as starting candidates that's trouble.
  5. He seems like a smart enough guy, just with an average case of the "umms" and "ya knows". My understanding is that he's considered intelligent and thoughtful.
  6. Looks like somebody took "Dance like no one's watching." a little too literally.
  7. He was clearly watching the latest captivating episode of Everybody Loves Hypnotoad.
  8. Well said. The "lays so much as a hand on them" was hyperbole on my part. I'll amend my previous statement: Any person who feels that their spouse or partner is a threat to their safety should get out of there. Sticking around out of fear or misplaced loyalty is bad news.
  9. This fad would be easier to swallow if the song wasn't so terrible. This is so stupid.
  10. Just like how every child on television is delightfully precocious and the smartest person in the family.
  11. Typically, native Spanish speakers articulate laughter in the written form with J's instead of H's. The H in Spanish is silent, while J is like our H.
  12. That was less entertaining than actual C-SPAN.
  13. A few months ago, I got my first "Sorry, I'm married." She even had the ring on. It's just not something you're conditioned to look for in your early 20's these days.
  14. Juno would have been a cool 30 minute film. Of course, those simply don't exist in the mainstream. I think most would agree with me that the characters got very tiresome.
  15. Same here. I also don't think it's one of those pseudo intellectual artsy films (ya know, college art show, black and white with random topless old people) that Jauronimo's poking fun at. Pretty tight narrative about a meaningful, yet transient relationship.
  16. Good move removing the name there, bud. And best of luck to your niece. Most people will never feel the burden that (I imagine) she feels right now.
  17. My understanding is that she's impossible to work with. In an industry where there are 1,000 pretty/marketable women ready to take your place, you better be uniquely beautiful or uniquely talented for that attitude.
  18. Pretty damn good tackler on top of everything else. Really the only CB in this stretch of dismal play that could wrap up reliably.
  19. Scarlett Johansson A nice bacon cheeseburger, washed down with Guinness. Playboy channel, for when she turns me down after all the burgers and beer.
  20. See if you can make it all the way through without cringing or trying to punch the guy through your computer screen.
  21. That's the beauty of being a snob. No volume of dissent is large enough to be proven wrong.
  22. "Oh, hi Mark." Yeah, I suppose my ire is relative to the movie's reputation, not it's objective quality. To be nominated for Best Picture and ALL the acting categories, a romantic comedy (albeit with dark elements) better be one of the best of all time...and it just isn't.
  23. The soda at fast food chains (or any restaurant fountain probably) tends to be watered down. I prefer the taste too.
