  1. I'm on here much less frequently during the offseason, so in the course of this thread I experienced "Crap, AJ left?" to "AJ's back!" within about 5 minutes. Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back...
  2. Good. Next up should be this nonsense about the "empty hand". Either the QB's arm propels the ball forward or it doesn't.
  3. I hate the rationale that when you "have nothing to lose", suddenly everything becomes a viable move. Actions have consequences, especially when you're in a situation where both salary and roster spots are limited.
  4. Happy birthday from a former Lancaster resident!
  5. I'd be intrigued. He didn't so much lose the job in Seattle so much as it was taken by an absolute phenom. Trouble is, Flynn basically has one game of NFL experience. Albeit, an impressive one.
  6. If I were in the Bills marketing department, I'd play up the "New coach, fresh start" angle and then pray that they picked up a potential starting QB in the first round in order to double down on that strategy.
  7. I don't want any QB that's lost to the Bills by a combined 52 points in the last 2 seasons.
  8. There's not a single franchise that can afford to keep all their talented players. Little thing called the salary cap. They've done a good job in keeping Stevie Johnson and Kyle Williams, gave Fred his money and made a mistake on Fitz. Jairus Byrd will most likely receive the next big contract. For all Nix' faults, you can't say that he's been stingy in keeping the homegrown talent. I hate to see Levitre walk, but if it means getting Byrd, Spiller and one more quality player on this team for years to come, then it was worth it.
  9. This is a completely irrational reason to not want him, but this was one of the dumbest things ever... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/11/29/sione-pouha-thinks-stevie-johnson-is-insensitive-to-911-victims/ ...and stupid should hurt.
  10. Regardless of the "time", I wonder if they still used the term (or an analogous term) to indicate the sun at its zenith.
  11. Shawne Merriman and Pat Moran are crossing the Canadian border to get hitched at Niagara Falls. May God strike my neighbor's dog's puppies dead if I'm wrong.
  12. It'll happen some day. And people will be up in arms, wrongfully. It's dangerous work, but people die at any job where there's physical labor involved. Hell, even delivering pizzas has a pretty high mortality rate. Kevin Everett was probably the closest right?
  13. The. The bigotry against indefinite articles is pitiful.
  14. Or how about, "Qwosson" for croissant. Can you imagine the headache of accenting every word with its language of origin?
  15. Saw it two days ago. Loved it. It's great that Tarantino is making this sub-genre out of grandiose revenge fantasies...still, he's never topped Reservoir Dogs.
  16. "-gate" being used as a suffix for any scandal or controversy.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=up4LTKxe0PA ^ GBID is Burns in this case
  18. Letting both Jones and Nelson go says to me that we're either targeting a specific guy in the 1st round or in FA. The Bills are inept, but not so inept that they would just count on Graham as a #2.
  19. I don't care that it's a cliche...them legs just don't quit.
  20. I can only imagine that a girl going to a technical school has some damn high self esteem. Pretty ridiculous ratio there.
  21. I switch it up quite often. My favorite look is probably a mustache to go along with a shaved head.
  22. I'd like this to happen, if only because we'd somehow manage to go from a Harvard QB to an even nerdier school.
  23. Well, I like that Byrd is staying next year, but in all likelihood it means that Fitz will be named Quarterback For Life and given 50% ownership in the franchise, so I hate it. Seriously, how does this have bearing on Levitre's contract? We're shedding contracts left and right.
  24. The GID issue is way beyond my scope of knowledge...but the lawsuit is friggin ridiculous. Is the kid really "damaged" by using an anatomy-appropriate restroom? Sheesh. (Though as somebody who spends most of his time thinking about getting inside the body of a woman, I can identify.)
