There are two phrases I am so tired of hearing during football games: Let XXX cook. Let XXX eat.. Can we just stop with these?

NFL Week 6 - Bills victorious!!!! Over Chiefs - post game thread
wjag replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rather than start a new thread, I'm going to drop this right here. Shady McCoy when discussing who is better consistently said "WE" when refering to the Eagles and "the Bills" when discussing the Bills. He is an Eagle through and through. -
Crazy. He keeps getting paid and his on field production doesn't back up his salary.

Great venue for the NFL Superbowl..

Watching this animation you can clearly see why Josh wanted him to run toward the post. It was completely free of enemies. -
Josh Allen is the best quarterback, no... player in the NFL

Nick Wright emphatically states that this is an overreaction.. 🙂 Anyone watching First Things First since they lost Jenna? It's a clown show now. They have good guests, but they let Nick shout down everyone. -

If you listen to his show, you already know what he is going to say. Good job Buffalo. You won October. Hang you Banner He was critical of Mahomes INTs. Didn't like the TO Reed took when Buffalo completed the 3rd and 13 to get the first down. Thought Buffalo would just be satisfied with a 3-7 halftime score. He's concerned about Chief's run defense and he acknowledged the Bills Defense won the game and questioned whether Miller can hold up for entire season. -

Here is a stat I heard today: Von Millers last 16 games: He's 14-2 with 15 sacks. -
Good. I was thinking he was headin to GB.

I heard that. Did anyone else get annoyed with the nonstop lalalalalalal overheard on every play.. -

How big have the first six games been? The Bills have likely beaten the division winners in all three of the other divisions in the conference. They are now ahead in the tie breakers versus Chiefs, Titans and Ravens. Remarkable. -
Fans greeting returning team at the airport (as we do...)
wjag replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love that the fans do this. It is a unique trademark in all of sports. It'd be one thing if you were waiting on a mild night in Miami. But this is raw and cold Buffalo in Oct-Jan and late at night and yet fans come out to tell the team that what they do matters to our area. They matter. Rock on. -

I'm by no means diminishing the accomplishment, just that they went fishing in the stat of the day barrell.. My manufactured stat of the day: Josh is 1 for 1 on TD throws where the receiver did not see his explict direction on the route to run, increased the level of complexity of the throw, threw it to him anyway and won the game as a result of it. 🙂 -
Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement

He's lost two late games for them on risky throws. It certainly is a Baltimore conundrum to pay or not to pay. -

Hello manufactured stat of the day. -
Bills will have plenty of tape on him by the time they play the Patriots.
-
His me first approach has rubbed his team mates wrong. His contract sucks the life out of the free agent talent market. And when he throws his deep balls he does not have the play makers to run under it and catch it. He was so spolied with the talent around him he had and he singlehandedly ran them out of town.

After a mostly sleepless night... 1. When it happened, I did not appreciate the level of difficulty of the Knox TD pass. But hearing it talked about and watching it. DamnTheManIsGood 2. The biggest difference in games was the level of uncomfortableness Mahomes felt in the pocket. 3. The play of the game was made by Miller, Milano and Johnson. To watch the Miller swim and spin move and push Mahomes to his right, right into the lane of an on rushing Milano and then Mahomes slinging it off balance to Johnson who jumped the route was magical. Props to Frazer and McDermott and the guys for scheming it and pulling it off. 4. Bills have two QBs. One plays offense and one plays defense. Their skillsets are wildly different but they are true craftsman. 5. Buffalo taking Mahomes off the field in that 3-and-out finished by Miller's sack had to be so amazingly satisfying to the Bills front office. All their off season scheming and hiring manifested itself on that drive and turned the tide of the game. 6. I went on record multiple times on MNF rueing the fact that Buffalo could not replicate what Vegas did -- running between the tackles. Man was I wrong. 7. Were Diggs 148 yards the quietest 148 yards ever? A look at his stats at the end of the game, 13 targets, 10 receptions and 1 TD. Crazy. 8. Allen was an absolute beast of a player last night. Everytime you think you've seen it all, he goes out and does something jaw dropping.. And then in the interviews he comes across as ho-hum, so self deprecating and likeable. On the field, he will tear your head off, off the field he is so down to earth. 9. Teams have got to be scared shiteless when watching Gabe Davis run wild. 10. And now one week of stress free football. Packers get a bye week as they get to play Commanders. Happy they won't be on a losing streak coming into Buffalo. 11. JETS win, PATS win, FINS Lose. Would have been a bitter pill to swallow if we woke up with the JETS in first place in the AFCE. GO BILLS -
National TV wins is what leaves the lasting impression.

And that is the official end of the Copper Rush story.

Well now.. Game on. 20-17

So let's talk about the drive of the game. Backed up on your own two. Third and 13 and a pass to Gabe. And then a drive 98 yards to take the lead. That was THE drive of the game.- 940 replies

That's nuts. And the first time I have EVER heard of such nonsense. If he was not medically cleared the fly, he should not have been in the game.
