  1. Haven't done one of these in a while, but I went to bed and have these thoughts still swirling: This is a win that the Bills need in their arsenal. No, I did not enjoy watching most of it. But this was a game where I think it's hard to dispute that the skill positions on the Dolphins looked more elite. The Bills did everything in their power to limit Hill, and Waddle and Mostert still looked electric. In the meanwhile, I lost a whole lot of prop bets because a lot of our usual suspects were limited. But at its core, the Bills got a better performance out of their second row of players. And the Bills gritted it out. It was ugly to watch but it has been the kind of game we might face it the playoffs. Miami fans are fricken delusional if they think that the refs have it out for them. I was screaming at the TV at the end of the second half that those Holding calls were PI, which would be a spot foul. Instead, it was five yards for a few second runoff. McKenzie catching that ball, putting a hand under it, sliding on two knees out of bounds and holding onto it it is...not a catch? I saw quite a few jersey tugs that went uncalled on those deep passes Allen was lofting. Non-calls on offensive holding for the Phins, while we got slaughtered with them. It should not have even been close on the field that Josh had broken the plane, and the review was incontrovertible. But no, a Dolphins defender hits a QB out of bounds and then gets into a shoving match and gets a personal foul. The Dolphins defender tackles McKenzie in the front without looking back as the ball arrives for a PI. If anything, the refs jobbed hard for Miami. I don't care what anyone says, I love Bills fans throwing snowballs. The snow was late to the party, so it's hard to see the sample size, but man, did Tua not look good in it. But when the snow came, suddenly energy was back into the building and the tide swung. I want home field advantage. Badly.
  2. I can't even imagine how they had to go to video review
  3. The Fins fans are making it sound like the refs were on them all night. They have to be delusional. The refs kept refusing to call PI at the end of the second half. The Bills had far more penalty yards and that is with quite a lot of chippt shots I saw Dolphins defenders deliver. Their quibble is about shoving a QB while he was out of bounds and then getting into a shoving match, and the most obvious hold possible

  5. Considering how hard the refs jobbed us, a fluke fumble, the running into the kicker, a bad miscommunication on the Waddle deep pass, the McKenzie catch that wasn't... I don't care how we did it, we did it
  6. Hey, another one score game we won!
  7. It's a catch, and the refs are jobbing us...so of course we are going to lose the challenge
  8. Any word on what the stadium looks like?
  9. Probably not if they are sending Schrager The are probably saving Brandt for the playoffs
  10. I really hope. I know it's a longshot but with him back we would have the second best defense in the playoffs
  11. I'd argue that between the moves to retain Lil Dirty and to bring in Crowder and Shakir, Beane had pretty strong odds to get 80% of Beasley's production from one of them. It hasn't panned out. I hold out some hope on Shakir, but I think it's time to cut bait on the other two
  12. I don't want to overstate the value of this. I do not see this as a long term remarriage. I legit think that the Bills will try something else to fill the role this off-season. I stand by the decision to cut him. He wasn't worth the cap hit and he was clearly unhappy about something because he wanted a trade. This is one of those situations where a marriage falls apart and each side starts seeing other people only to find out the grass isn't as green on the other side. The Bills don't have a way to consistently keep drives going when teams move to bracket coverage on Diggs. Beasley has learned what the rest of the league values him at. And I feel dirty saying this, but I think this helps our Super Bowl chances more than rolling the dice on OBJ at this point.
  13. He wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire when he was healthy
  14. Pretty much this. We have tried McKenzie, Crowder, Shakir and Knox and nothing has worked. That is where Beasley shines.
  15. Did we get it confirmed? I don't love Beasley as a person, but man, Josh has been needing someone to be that zone beater on 3rd down when they bracket Diggs. Maybe this is the missing piece.
  16. Woooow how the mighty have fallen. Well, not "mighty"
  17. This is the question mark that's been hanging on the Dolphins: what happens late in the year, when they don't get to hear stroke out opponents. When they can't just airshow it, do they have a second punch. The Bills have learned to grit out a balanced attack. If you invite them to run on you, they can. I don't think Tua and McDaniel have a second punch
  18. It's good to be back!
  19. I am fine with franchising him and then presenting something in the 12-14 range No it was 5th year option
  20. He is actually often in good position. The problem is that he doesn't have the athleticism, instincts, or ball skills to fight for the ball. That's not glaring as a #2 or 3,but against elite talent? It's a disaster
  21. I really don't get scratching Elam. Even if Tre is back at full I don't get it, do we think that little of the Patriot receivers
  22. He probably feels good and could have been back if he really pushed it. The consistent moves by McDermott has been to keep the team healthy for January. I'd rather have Von in the playoffs with a wild card spot than in the 2nd seed without him
  23. Doi, yes. Both are Philly talent scouts, just that Douglas took the GM offer
