What’s funniest to me is Murray’s Hail Mary Beat us. The reason I find it so ironic is because to me he is a modern day Doug Flutie. I think in the end you will find the he will go through erratic stretches like Flutie because defenses will figure out how to spy him and clog his throwing lanes. I think he will have a reasonable career with a super bowl loss to his resume. Anyway time will tell.

The Major advantage is 1:00 pm start at home. That whole COVID debacle completely screwed both the Titans and KC games. I’m convinced that if the schedule had adhered to its original form those games would have gone differently. This team doesn’t do well with scheduling adversity yet...

In 1991 the second of two consecutive 13-3 seasons a dominant Bills squad rode in to KC on Monday night. They got pummeled 33-6 and it was a prime time embarrassment. It was a beat down in every sense. Very much like last night was. However, it led to a run of victories and a change in team attitude that refocused their drive, desire and goal. That is how last night felt to me when I went to bed. I know I’m an old bastard but I remember my high school friends Tomahawking and singing the KC fight song as I came into to school that Tuesday. I live near Albany NY and many hated the Bills back then. Anyway that is my knee jerk reaction. If they can prove it Monday then I will feel much better. I will not hang last night on Josh Allen like the national media though. He wasn’t great but the walls were crumbling around him.

I haven’t posted in a while but reading the Bills at number 4 in the power rankings anywhere (Yahoo) is both amazing and terrifying. I have to believe that we are finally going to be expected to win week in and week out again. I think I have Buffalo Bills PTSD’s as this national media expectation really scares me. I do believe that the offense will get even better and the Jets D is better than it looked against us. That said as much of an optimist as I am I still need to see 4-0 going into the KC game. Are we a 12-4 team? I would really like to know if these power rankings scare anyone else.

A win puts her near the top 50 which is huge for tournament seeding and early round match ups etc... it will also potentially give her a nice 1st round draw for the Aussie Open. If she can make some noise there say 3rd or 4th round. It could be a crazy year for her!

Between this and the crack back penalty I guess my thoughts on the officiating have changed. I didn’t think it was horrible but as many around here have pointed out key bad calls at crucial moments alter game outcomes.

Agree on Wade but some of the greatest backs in league history weren’t super fast. Even Thurman was not a “break away” back but he could pick up large chunks with his power/shiftiness/ability to hit the hole. That is actually who Singletary reminds me of. Singletary has the highest yards per carry 5.1 of any back in the league this year.

And he would look like Tyrod 2.0 in s Bills uniform. Greg Roman has designed an offense to develop him. He is great but needed a Roman to be successful. Singletary is going to be one of the best backs in the league for the next few years. I would not give that pick back for anyone.

Bills fans are better than this. Cody has a bright future and has had an exceptional year. We all make mistakes but former officials have already announced it was a bad call. These fans aren’t in their right minds. Cody should know we got his back on this one.

And perhaps desire to will the team to victory. The desire to be super human because frankly at times he can be. Can you imagine how hard it is to harness his athletic ability. Especially when you believe ( as he needs to) that you can make absolutely any play at any given time.

Singletary is awesome but the bills need a complimentary B back Gore gave his all but they need a (god forbid) modern day Ronnie Harmon.

The team is A premier WR, a good 3 down back, and an offensive tackle away from being the best offense in the NFL.

Dude will be the 2020 League MVP mark it down. I am never bullish like that but this is going to be the fuel that makes him better than all the others his age. Look at what Watson did last year in his first playoff game. The sky is not falling the kid played pretty well today.
