  1. Yea thats wha I am saying. I saw him at TC at Fischer from 10 yards away, he was small then and it was extremely noticable, all the fans around me were talking about him. He was smaller than Nic Harris and it was noticable. By mid season I could see from my seats he was TOs size. Thats not good whether he is a DE or 3-4 OLB, because the bottom line is we drafted him to get sacks but he cant beat an OT. Congrats, you are now smarter than the Buffalo Bills college scouting staff.
  2. Suh could dominate as 3-4 end. In fact he may be end up being a better 5 tech than 3 tech. Guys is nastier than Seymour. O and as far as trading down, just offer them a 3rd or something and see if they bite. They may be that desperate and/or lookign simply to save the cash the #2 would take.
  3. My post about Maybin was to say that it was very very obvious that Maybin was not going to succeed in the NFL as a pass rusher, meanwhile it was very very obvious that other players would. Mayock refers to these players throughout that video, ie Orakpo/Cushing/Mathews, even Cromartie from last season. I picked Maybin becauce my frustration with the Bills terrible scouting staff has been personified by Aaron Maybin. PS: I think if the Bills dont draft Maybin at 11, and at all, he would not have been drafted before Connor Barwin and Michael Johson, who went in the eraly third round. "It only takes one team" to make him go that high. Exo facto I thought pre draft that Maybin was at most a third round talent. Seems pretty accurate at this point.
  4. I found a big bag fun of money with Ralph Wilsons name on it once. The Bag was full of our money though...
  5. Great watch. Thanks for the upload. But man, all I can think about now is how much Maybin blows, and how blatantly obvious it was too see. Some scouts must have been on the floor laughing when they heard us draft him at 11.
  6. I heard he threw it 70 yards. Maybe thats the arm Nix was talking about when he said " to cut through the winds"
  7. Gerhardt is a stud and is going to be the classic peole think I am too slow and not good even though I just dominated all of college football aka Shonn Green/Frank Gore/Tashard Choice/Marion Barber. Hell, we only have two running backs. We are one Fred Jackson kick return to being down to 1. We need to add another RB and my number 1 choice for that slot would be Garhardt hands down.
  8. I think the Bills would need to give up the 9 and Lynch for the 28 and McNiel, and maybe even a 4th or more. SD gains nothing by losing McNiel and a pick for just a higher pick. But Lynch/9 for McNiel/28 I am all for. And I am one of Lynchs biggest fans.
  9. breasts McGee - Cheerleader
  10. Bushrod was punished by 1/2 speed Freeney in the SB, no way I want to rely on him to start. If we trade for anyone, the two most likely canidates IMO would be McNiel from SD or Light from NE. Maybe we could grab Merriman/Wilfork respectively to sweeten the deal...
  11. I never got into the Bradford Hype. Qbs who dont lead their offense scare me, ie OK being a big smash mouth run first, play action pass second team. I know he had the stats and won the Heisman, but he never carried his team, and when they asked him to, he failed. NDs O was all Clausen to his WRs, no running game, no OL. They lost games sure but the score was 45-42, thats not on the Os shoulders. They way Clausen carried ND is the way Ryan carried BC (BTW Clausen is no where near as good as Ryan, just better than Bradford)
  12. I dont see how this team is going to get 2 starting caliber OTs and a starting caliber NT in the draft. There are simply no FA at those positions. We are going to have to trade or go up sh*ts creek without a paddle voluntarily.
  13. creatine and water weight. Maybin will never be able to play at a solid 250 because he does not have the build. His waist is smaller than TOs and anyone with eyes can tell you that. He has a WRs body. Hopefully he can somehow be affective at 235 because I dont see him ever being able to carry more than that through a season.
  14. Who are you to decide what offends another culture/race. My cousins are part Cherokee, neither them nor their father are offended by the name Redskins, Chiefs, Blackhawks (NHL) or Indians (MLB). The majority of Indians (yes my cousins/uncle refer to themselves as Indians, not Native Americans) dont find the mascots offensive, but rather are somewhat honored that their culture is being idolized (yes I realize not all of them feel this way). My high schools former AD was 100% Native American and absolutely loved the high schools mascot which was Chiefs with a great Chief head dress logo. 6 months after he retired they were working to drop the name because 3 white students and 1 Indian (from India, not a Native American) found it offensive. This is not anyone's issue but Indians, so whites/blacks/purple/etc. need to stop making such a commotion about an issue you really have no right butting into.
  15. If you are still talking about Snead, who ever takes him higher than the 6th round needs their head examined.
  16. It did hinder him, he played in about half the D snaps. He was not on the field. He cannot have much of an affect on a game from the bench.
  17. Didnt the guy turn down what would have been the largest contract in league history at one time, so that he could get out of Carolina? He says now he wants to play in a 3-4 so that he can get tons of sacks and thinks it will be a help for him. He doesnt sound like a guy who wants to call it quits. If he were he would take a deal and ride it out in Carolina...
  18. Trade for one.
  19. Who is going to play the other 60% of the snaps at NT then? Cody was rarely on the field for Alabama throughout his career. It wont get any easier in the NFL.
  20. With no CBA, I think Revis can be tendered a contract worth 4 million over the next 2 or 3 seasons. Its some very very small amount I do remember that.
  21. I disagree. Jake Long has not been as good as advertised, ie as good as Thomas is, and while Okung/Bulaga dont have the same hype coming out, they could easily be better pros than Long. Bulagas style and play remind me of long also.
  22. I have been saying the same thing. Even if Bulaga plays RT it would be a great pick because he could dominate that side for his entire career. I think he can play LT too, but I wouldnt call him a LT prototype. When Mayock likes a guy that much though, its basically confirmed he is a great player.
  23. I agree this is a multi year project, but this draft is loaded with OL talent and we could build an entire OL with this draft. We could easily take 2 OTs in the first two rounds without reaching if the draft pans out that way. we could even add a good G prospect in the third if we wanted to and not be reaching much either. Yes we need help all over, so I want the best player regardless of position, but that may infact be an OLinemen in all three rounds. If we took 3 good OL in the first 3 rounds I would love it. I am convinced we are getting a big NT in FA BTW. I am thinking Hampton. We could solidify our entire OL in this draft and I say do it. That would give us a great base to build from moving forward.
  24. This team needs 2 NT (one back up) and two OT (both starting caliber). Thats if we assume Williams and Stroud can play DE with Johnson and Denney as back ups. Thats a fairly large assumption. We are not going to put that all together in one offseason so we can take whoever we want. But if its QB he better not see the field this season - I dont want him injured.
