  1. Its McShay, he doesnt know squat.
  2. The best defense is a good offense. Help out BOTH sides of the ball and get a dang ole line to block for our two stud RBs and help out whatever sh*t Qb we trow out there! Bulaga or BUST!
  3. Now it seems this is more of a mainteaece thing that a remodel. But on the topic of the Ralph, is it really that bad? Now I have been to both Foxboro and M&T bank stadium, and niether as a pure stadium is much nicer than the Ralph. Sure by apperence they are cleaner, newer, fancier (there is no chain link fence ha ha) but as far as sitting and watching a game they are on an even kiel. I have read that Jerrys Billion dollar place has terrible site lines and obstructed view seats, thats not the case in Buffalo. Besides, the dang thing is used 8-9 times a year, its more than adequate. You would think the greedy NFL would know that and not want to invest that much money when it is totally unnessecary.
  4. Morgans skill set would make him more valuable to a 3-4 team as a OLB than DE I think. He is skilled enough though, I wouldnt be upset with drafting him, unless we pass on better players of course, ie Bulaga.
  5. We hired a coaching staff which has only proved they are not very successful at coaching. Gailey did not fair well as head coach in Dallas or GT, and his offenses did not consistantly perform or improve when he was an OC. His only "success" came over 5 years ago. Our OC - the guy whose name I dont even remember/RB & running game coach from Arizona - ranked in the bottom 5 in the league in rushing every year of his tenure. We fired the best special teams coach in the league, so I doubt we improve much there. The only semi successful coach we brought in seems to be edwards, who has no experience at his new position. When can we fire this staff and bring in a real one?
  6. Tradeing Lynch would result in drafting a QB and bringing one in via FA. You cannot survive with 2. Players for late round picks doesnt seem like a good idea. What RB are we going to draft in a late round this year that will be as good as Lynch? Draft picks would be nice but we are not a deep enough team to survive bhen we trade away young good players.
  7. I agree with everything you said, but I dont believe CBs are anywhere near as important as your post said they were. In todays NFL CBS cannot even breathe on a WR before being flagged. I believe its more about who is rushing the passer helping out the CB than the other way around - the rules simply do not allow CB to cover anymore. the great corners used to cover a WR very tight, but not thats illegal. Its much more the front 7 is much more important that the D Backfield, as proven by our Bills.
  8. I predict Kyle Williams will be a stud DE in the 3-4. Having seen him play these last few years I have really thought that he would be a great 3-4 DE. Pittsburg has made a living with the Kyle williams types at DE. I am all for adding Hampton too.
  9. Well, aside from Clausen throwing the Ball from the opposite 42, to where it was caught 5 yards deep in the endzone, using simple math I can see that it was 63 yards at that point. But that was not ball to ground, that was ball to Golden Tate about 9 feet in the air. Thats another 4 yards at least if the ball were allowed to hit the ground, for a minimum estimate of 67 yards. Also, it was a perfectly placed ball, right in the middle of the end zone. Who says he cant throw it even farther? But I digress, its not about that one throw, but all the other throws shown in that video. It is the trajectory and ball speed (aka zip) on those throws that proves his arm strength. His 15 yard outs are on a frozen rope, not some hugely arching slow moving Matt Liernt esq pass. Im sorry but if you cannot notice that Cluasen has "zip" then thats probably why you cannot see that your golden boy Lefevour doesnt have "zip"
  10. Dont count on Hangartner. He is not starting caliber. I will count on him for one more year - till Wood is back - but that is worst case scenario. Butler was ok but only there for a few games, and we know how he can play at G. Even still dont expect much this season having just torn his ACL. Thats a 2 year process to get back to where he was previous. I agree with you though, this team needs 2 OL, not one. Thats why if the Bills somehow used their top 3 picks to land Bulaga and Iupati I would be on cloud 9. Pouncy if Iupati is gone would be good too. We need OL more than anything else.
  11. With Byrd Scott (hopefully) and Wilson we have great safeties. But Whitner can play nickle, and be a valuable backup. We are deep at corner too. But unless its a high pick its just not worth it. He is more valuable as a player on this team than a 4th round pick. Maybe even a third. I mean really, Whitner or Youboty/Ellis. Just cause we get a pick for him doesnt mean we solve a problem - more than likely we create one by letting him go.
  12. Completing a pass and being accurate are two incredibly different things. 12 inches is the difference between TD and pick six in the NFL. Sometimes less than 12 inches. Stop throwing these worthless stats around. He is not very accurate. His stats are also inflated because of the high number of screen passes he threw, which are easy to complete. Starting for one season, and being a one year wonder are two different things. Just because you draft a QB and let him sit for a few years doesnt mean you will have some great QB down the line. Lefevour wont become some superstar just because he learns on the bench. If the plan is to let a guy come in here and learn, then he should Jarret Brown or some other QB worth a draft pick.
  13. If I ask, do you think Obama will give me the money to buy the team? Ill keep them in Buffalo which means jobs!
  14. If I am GM? I fire Chan Gailey and get a coach with a track record of success.
  15. The difference between a great college QB, and a college QB who has something to offer the NFL, is bigger than the Hoover Dam. LeFevour has nothing - nothing - that resembles NFL QB play. Jarret Brown yes has 1 yr experience. But in that one year, he has shown he could be an NFL QB. He has shown every physical trait one would want in an NFL QB. He has made reads, and one could only assume he will get better with experience. One cannot say the same with Lefevour. He has 4 years of film that confirms he is not and NFL caliber player. Do you think the NFL scouts would pass over a guy with that much too look at? Its not like he is coming from no where. He has the starts, the wins, the stats - they have done their home work on him... and he doesnt have it. Its so obvious to see. He does nothing - nothing - that is expected from NFL QBs nothing. Thank you, when you watch him, he doesnt do what NFL QBs do. He has no arm strength, bad accuracy, makes no reads, and throws screen passes. Yawn. Again, there is a HUGE difference between a great college QB, and an NFL QB. See Troy Smith, Eric Crouch, Jason White, Danny Weurffle, Chris Leak, Colt Brennan, Ghram Harrel, Timmy Chang, Chase Daniels, Ken Dorsey, and UBs [former] own Turner Gill. The skills required to be succesful differ so much from one level of play to the other. Lefevour doesnt have what teh NFL demands. This will be proven come April.
  16. If Okung or Suh is there in round 2, I suggest taking them.
  17. Im curious, how many Central Michigan Chippewa games were on tv this year in Carolina, Bill?
  18. I understand that fans want a good QB. I want a good QB. Thats why I dont want Lefevour. Thats what I dont get - Why are fans that are so desperate for a good QB praying we draft a guy who blows? Jarret Brown will be the 3rd or 4th QB off the board IMO - with Tebow being the ? (I have no idea where he will go). Jarret Brown played extremely well in every game he played in this year, has an NFL arm with NFL accuracy and NFL height. He is moble - but yet still a pocket passer. He can read a D fairly well considering he is a spread guy with 1 year starting experience. If we wanna get a QB to groom, he is the guy. Prob need to take him in the 2nd to guarantee he is a Bill. If we are going to give someone a "shot" shouldnt we get the best canidate?
  19. Why is it that every day I have to read another posters comment that "Lefevour is the answer" or "Hopefully we can snag Lefevour in round 2" or even worse "Trade back into the 1st for Lefevour." Can you Lefevour supporters honesly watch his games and think he has NFL potential? If you can then you should be drooling for McCoy/Tebow because they do what Lefevour does x10. He throws screen passes, and runs the the zone read option and well, thats it. He has a weak arm with no zip and poor touch. He is your prototype thower- not a passer. Check out these two sites for their QB rankings. They have him at 12th and 13th best QB respectively. Now I realise these are basically just blogs, but they base their rankings off of the Blesto-v reports which is the same scouting service that half the NFL relies on. Those are the people who grade football players 365 days a year. http://www.draftcountdown.com/Rankings/QB.php http://walterfootball.com/draft2010QB.php If thats not enough, here are Mayocks rankings, who has him as tied for 5th best http://www.nfl.com/seniorbowl/story?id=090...mp;confirm=true Now I am the first one to call the "experts" out and not buy into their BS when I dont agree with what I see when I watch a player. However, I am on the same line of thinking with them as to the LEFEVOUR IS NOT ANY GOOD in terms on NFL QB potential. Many of this same talk was around last season too, just with Harrel from Texas Tech. "Take him in the 2nd!" many said. I said no, "he will be lucky to play in Canada" Well guess what, the same is true with Lefevour this season. Please stop this madness I feel like I am taking crazy pills! PS if you want to talk about taking a QB in the second, 100% of the talk should be about Jarret Brown from WV. Now thats a QB with NFL potential.
  20. So I says to Mable I says "Rectum? Damn near killed um!"
  21. There is a huge difference between playing like an NFL QB in a weak conference and playing like a college QB in a weak conference. Lefevour did the latter.
  22. Ill let Wilfork be the kicker if thats what it takes to get him to sign with Buffalo
  23. I dont get it. Too Expensive? There is NO CAP. We can spend whatever we want. Id give Peppers 20 Mil a season if I had the cash to piss away. Secondly, its funny how one person on ESPN says he takes plays off and then the whole world just jumps on board. Statistically he shows up in every game more than Schobel ever has. Its basically every season too. Not sure where the take plays off thing came from.
  24. Why does everyone dis a guy they barely know anything about? Wallace has been a great QB for the Hawks when asked to be. He has a lot of starting experience too filling in for the oft injured Hasselback. Chack out his #s from 2008 when he started teh second half of the season for the IRed Hasselback. http://www.nfl.com/players/senecawallace/p...le?id=WAL501121 1500+ yards, 11 TDs, and 3 picks in 10 games (8 starts). Id take a 3000 yrd passer who throws 20 TDs next season.
