College Football All-Star Challenge...
High Mark replied to Wilson from Gamehendge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you insane? 60 yards for an NFL QB? That DEFINES noodle arm. I have seen Trent throw it that far, he can probably throw it farther. There are probably 20 high school QBs in western NY that can throw that far. And either way, he still never had any zip on his passes. -
Why cant we just cut kelsay already? Thats the best option. He is so bad I refuse to capitalise him name anymore.

Oh how this list is growing short......
High Mark replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills are the only team to go to 4 straight. That is a feat to be proud of, and equally embarrassed by unfortunately. -
Killer reciever hits the open market...
High Mark replied to rocwocka's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I honestly dont care, because I dont associate my football with what they did. Would I hire him to be my towns bus driver? Probably not. Would I hire Vick to run my dog kennel? No. Would I let them play on my football team? YES. Both those players are better than players on our team currently. The Bills are a better football team with them. -
porter and thomas likely to be cut
High Mark replied to dwight in philly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want Gronkowski from Arizona. He is from Amherst and one hell of a blocker at 6'6'', 265. If not for injury he was a lock 1st round pick. I guarantee he is there at our third round pick too. Honestly a Jason Witten clone. Would you be unpleased with a TE half as good as Witten in the 3rd round? I know I would love it for one. -
porter and thomas likely to be cut
High Mark replied to dwight in philly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would take Thomas in a heart beat. He doesnt have to be our best LB, just our forth best. But when you look at our LBers, he will be the best. When you can sign a FA and he instantly because you rbest line backer, how is that not an improvment? -
One glaring need that everyone is overlooking
High Mark replied to Stussy109's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Did you miss the Saints win the SB by winning in the trenches and have steller QB play? Colston is pretty good, but other than him they lack talent at the position, but look much better than they are because of Brees. The most important recieve in the Colts attack is hands down Dallas Clark. WR may be the least important position in football when you think of them as one unit. -
. What is the Final Eight Plan? A. During the uncapped year, the eight clubs that make the divisional playoffs in the previous season have additional restrictions that limit their ability to sign Unrestricted Free Agents from other clubs. In general, the four clubs participating in the Championship Games are limited in the number of free agents that they may sign; the limit is determined by the number of their own free agents signing with other clubs. For the four clubs that lose in the Divisional playoffs, in addition to having the ability to sign free agents based on the number of their own free agents signing with other clubs, they may also sign players based on specific financial parameters.[/i] It seems that loosing Ryan Denney and signing Wilfork is allowed, yet the losing divisional round clubs could do the previous AND sign guys with $$$ restrictions. This is a huge negative for us I feel.

It has been reported that teams that made the divisional round of the playoffs will be limited in the players they can sign. The liimitation is that they can only sign a FA if they loose a FA, ie a 1 for 1 secario - but I have a question. lets say that the Bills hypothetically were a teams to be limited. Does that mean they could lose FAs such as Ryan Denney and Ashton Youboty and replace them with Vince Wilvork and Karlso Dansby? Rules limit quantity, but what about quality? Dallas is a team to be limited, but every team looses some trash FA every season, can they then go out and sign some all pro to replace a 3rd stringer? Thats not really 1 for 1... I ask because if that were true, it would really kill the first few days of free agency. The best players would sit around and wait for Dallas or whoever to loose some scrub player to a team like the Bills only then to sign some huge deal with a team like Dallas. This will really force teams to offer huge deals to players ASAP and get them off the market before a Dallas can loose anyone. I doubt that bodes well for the Bills...

Donahoe/Greg Williams wanted Brees
High Mark replied to Craiger93's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For teh Record I wanted to the Bills to draft Peyton Manning -
What we saw today from Manning and Brees
High Mark replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After watching - on many many occasions - Fits not being able to throw 12 yard comebacks and Edwards not being able to read a curl flat combo route, then seeing everyones golden boy LeFever only being able to throw the ball 57, and 60 years on his two attempts in some rediculous "longest throw competition" - I am starting to think I should try out for the team. We need a QB bad, thats a certainty. I think we should make a strong Push for Quinn, then Kitna. -
Report: Bills one of 3 going for McNabb
High Mark replied to shaker4187's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let the Browns get McNabb then we can take Quinn for a 5th rounder or whatever. Kid can ball just needs a competent team..... so the Bill have to get Quinn, then build a competent team. The latter part of that will need to be done regardless of the QB this team brings in. -
Goodell says ban on 3-point stance is possible

He really wants to destroy football doesnt he. -
How many of us wanted Hargrove gone?
High Mark replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hargrove was one of the better players on the D yet never played - I could never figure it out. He should have started hands down. He always got pressure when he was in. He suffered from the Bills coaching staff not know how to evaluate talent. As for his legal issue, I couldnt give a sh*t. Buffalo has so little talent on the roster they should be begging for talented players to come here, and beggers cannot be choosers. Id take every steroid abusing criminal if it ment more wins, and its very clear that Hargrove played a big role helping the Saints this season, our loss their gain. -
We could have signed Brees too you know. Its not like he was dying to go to Katrina ravaged New Orleans. That was his only option.
-
Dock and Lang were not the top tier FAs, they were second tier. Seeing as how great the Fletcher/Spikes/ and even TO signings were huge successes (TOs success being box office related) I def see us adding some big name guy.
-
That right there is the biggest compliment of all. They [GT] were willing to give up the blind side advantage to avoid going against him. GT has a very good staff down there and with all the time to prepare they determined not to really test him. Ill take their knowledge over any one of the Bills scouts thats for sure. I have loved this kid since I saw him last season. You can see him man handling Maybin there at the end....

Yea, you can thank Todd McShay for that. No one would be talking about him if not for that third grade weenie I have serious doubts that T. Williams can play RT and pass block well enough to survive. He is not a good enough run blocker to make up the ground you will loose with him as a pass blocker. I am 100% certain no NFL team plans to use him on the left side. I guess we can thank McShay for this clown shoe too. (make that 30 NFL teams. You can never be sure what the Bills or the Raiders plan to do)

Quicker Turn Around Than most think
High Mark replied to Beastly Dareus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With the "uncapped" year, also comes the "unfloored" year. Teams used to have a minimum that had to spend, and now they dont. I could see Ralph spending even less. -
O yes they do.
-
No suprise there, Trent Williams is a 4th-5th round guy. He has always been. When you cannot even beat out Loadholt to play LT in college, you cannot play LT in the NFL. Okung has elite feet, and has never been a road grader. That didnt stop Smith from being taken 2nd overall last year. Beluga has always been my #1 choice because of what he offers as a run blocker.

Thank God

No. Its out of 50 and its timed, with each question getting harder as you go on. The Qs are similiar to an SAT quetion - both English, Math, and problem solving Qs. Having just gotten out of college, I have had to take the wonderlic a couple times for companies on interviews. If you can operate a crayon safely you can get at least a 10 on that test. If you have never taken it you have no idea how dumb one would have to be to get in the single digits. I mean really, four? That literally means he cannot add, subtract, or read. The first few questions are that easy. Example: If you have four red balls, how many balls do you have? A) purple B) fore C) 4 D) red That would be the 15th easiest quetion on the test, mean there would be 14 easier than that one.

New Defensive Coordinator - George Edwards
High Mark replied to ajm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea some guy on on here was suggesting that, wasnt sure who it was. Do you wanna give us your reasons as to why? Just curious
