So many things on your list I don't like. I will just say I am happy you are not the GM, Roscoe is staying, I doubt they trade down, reading Buddy's interview today it won't surprise me if they take a WR or a CB if they think he is the best player. I honestly pretty much agree with those decisions as we get better by taking the best playmakers. Yes we need Dline and LBs and a RT and TE. I just think we will see a lot in FA too. your let walk list I guess I am ok with but I hope we get much better at LB positions, we will also need to draft or get another safety if Whitner goes. There are better players we should try to get than your list to sign though. If they plan on keeping Wood at center (another thing I got from Nix's interview) I would hope they go strong after Mankins. There are also better LBs and TEs in FA this year. I think they have to really try to make some of those upgrades. I guess I think the team needs a lot and don't see that they will or can get it all done in one year. Hoping they will do a lot but to compete in our division is still going to be tough, I expect we will see a bunch more changes this year but to improve to a 10 win team and a playoff run is still 2 years away.

From the comment in that piece That being said I just turned 51 and I would love to see an old guy out there Oh and that disorder usually happens because of childhood abuse, poor guy.... I wonder if the book talks about that. -
Have you guys been following this Amherst house shooting?
bowery4 replied to bbb's topic in Off the Wall Archives
When I was about 19 I woke up in someones screen house, I thought I was at my house. An old man woke me up and said to get out of there, I had no idea where I was (it was in Amherst). I was harmless enough but not to coherent, glad he wasn't a gun happy butt head. -
You know what happens when you get two !@#$s in one room? A lot of **** son, a lot of ****.

If this was about the Bills winning the SB I would be behind you 100%. I sort of like both Pitts and GB though. I like Rodgers better than Big Rapist, but that is another issue. -
[possibly] Available QBs: FA and draft
bowery4 replied to RuntheDamnBall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bruce Gradkowski to back up Fitz, I think he is a guy Chan could work with. He shows some stuff (even in Oak.) is young and wouldn't be too expensive. We don't really need to draft a QB IMO. If we were looking for a Fitz replacement I would say Kyle Orton. -
Prepare yourself, the Jets will win it all
bowery4 replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know who will win, that is why I enjoy games. If the Jests do go all the way, I think it will go to show once again (like in Rothisraper's rookie year) that a franchise QB is not needed to win a SB. -

People with weapons of all sorts kill ppl, much easier with a gun. I am not up for debating here, just saying. I frankly am excited about the possibilities of FA, if having SM talk to guys helps I am all for it.

James Hardy signed to Ravens offseason roster

Also a good reminder that drafting wide out in early rounds is maybe a bit more of the proverbial crap shoot than other positions. I read an article a while ago that talked about this issue of drafting them high and how a lot of really successful ones are just drafted low and more able to adjust to the game because they work harder at it. Only a small percentage of high draft choices were very good and some only after they went to other teams and had to fight for the new job. I wish Hardy luck, maybe he is in the later group. -
Jerry Jones' ego just might pay off.....for the Bills.

No OT until 121 and after a marginal (Newton like but WAC conference) QB? I don't like it much. I do like the thought of trading back a bit but I would rather go after the 7 slot. In anycase, I really don't think it will happen just because Buddy said he likes to stay put. Just as plausible IMO. I could see the Bills taking BPA instead of trying to trade even if it is a WR or CB. Playmaker is always a need in BNs eyes. I know this will blow up many peoples heads around here though after CJ's rookie year. -
Why SHOUT on EBAY? I just don't get it.

Concerns about getting real quality at 3
bowery4 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You do realize that the last 2 games Kelsey played DE and OLB was Moats. In the alinement they were in 80% of the time it was Moats job to contain. There were a few plays where Kelsey blew by the guys he should have been stopping but his gap was not the hole on some of the big runs. -
Top 10 Things the Bills need to do to get better!

When Hawk was rumored in the trade for Marshawn I researched him a bit. He is good against the run but not in coverage (in fact he is bad at it). His numbers before this year were better (because he stayed healthy) than Poz but he is very Poz like. Not sure we need 2 of Poz around but it could be an option I guess. Signing both sounds kind of expensive and I think we can/will do better.

TKO is a FA again this year if I remember correctly.

Cards and SF are the best candidates but I agree with most that Luck has to be our pick if we get that chance. I do think a team would reach for Newton at 3, I almost expect we might. Really depends on how much Ralphie has a say in it it IMO.

Ryan Fitzpatrick screwed the Bills over

Mallett is Brian Brohm: Version 2, just my opinion. Pocket passer, big arm, great in college. who knows how he does behind our line if we don't draft some tackles and a TE or get them in FA. Who knows how BB would do in a couple or more of real games? Newton may bust, we don't know if he will be good or Maybin 2.0 at QB (although from what I saw this year it is not really my opinion) I like him better as a number 2 choice behind Luck. Truth is I would be happy if we went D or just BPA (since it might be what Buddy and Chan decide to do anyway). If it is a CB or a WR I know some peoples heads will explode around here though. -
What if Denver and Carolina are happy with the qbs they got this year, what if for some reason they don't/can't find trades better than guys they want more. What if Luck falls to the Bills (talking about Lucky)? What if Fitz has a top 5 year next year (his contract year) and Luck has not proven anything because he is sitting.....
