  1. That's Tecmo Super Bowl to you. QB Bills is not impressed. hut hut hut hut hut hut hut hut hut hut hut hut hut hut
  2. Who cares? They are Canada's team and that's all that matters.
  3. Folks, the no huddle is not the same thing as the hurry-up. The reason for using it is not necessarily to have speedy drives, but to not allow the defense to make substitutions and adjust. If you look at the no huddle days of yesteryear with Kelly and co., they would run the play clock down to the single digits often.
  4. Good lord. Are you joking, or do you really think that was him making those calls?? In either case, it'd be great if you punched him out...I hate that clown too.
  5. If Whitner was to be traded, who would: a) hold slumber parties for the defense? b) guarantee the playoffs, then go the whole season without being noticed? c) be sammy morris' tackling dummy on gameday? d) spend all his time on facebook instead of perfecting his craft? He's too slow to catch quick rb's, too weak to tackle big ones, and too stupid to get interceptions (anyone remember the play early on at the jets this year?). The only reason people defend him is because he was the 8th overall pick, and is 'supposed' to be good. Newsflash, he's not. If you can't get anything for him, give him a set of pompoms and tell him to join the Jills, because cheerleading is the only notable thing he's done thus far in his career.
  6. What a great post. I used to think I was missing something on why Bills fans hated Flutie. The problem is, people who don't like him have football tunnel-vision. To them, it's not about whether you win but how you win. Flutie was an unconventional QB who seemed like he was winging it, but nothing could be further from the truth. His record/stats in his two years here prove that. Also, anyone who thinks he was 5'10 is kidding themselves. He used to practice at my school when he was on the Argos. He's no more than 5'8 tops. Probably shorter than that.
  7. What a stupid old hag. I hope he really does whack off on her now.
  8. No offense, but that's such a loser mentality. Sounds like something Dick Jauron would say.
  9. what? what? what?
  10. She gave him the cold shoulder...similar to Sammy Morris.
  11. And this needed a new thread because? Can you go away for a while? Or at least stop starting so many stupid threads? For those of us who aren't on here that often, you're bumping some interesting topics off the main page. Nothing personal, but your posts are the equivalent of junk mail most of the time.
  12. Absolutely. We would have been a contender the last three years also. You can hate the guy all you want, but there is no disputing the disparity in coaching pedigree between him and Dick Jauron.
  13. I thought the Bills were interested in trading for him. Anyone heard anything about this recently? I think he would be even more of an impact player than T.O.
  14. My favourite hasn't occurred yet. "I'd like to thank the Bills organization for the opportunity they gave me and wish them all the best in the future." An added bonus would be: "Also, I'm looking forward to simultaneously coach the other 3 afc east teams for the next 10 years."
  15. Bill Simmons called. He wants his joke back.
  16. It's an interesting thought, but by that argument, you could say that about a lot of receivers. I think the real point here is that you think Jerry Rice is overrated.
  17. Weo, you're wasting your time with these mouth-breathers. They equate the degree of Bills fandom by how much they hate anyone who's not a Bill. Pretty sad because it reeks of jealousy and envy. Senator, you and your minions are completely transparent and it's pathetic. Here's the truth though. Brady is a great football player, and has a smoking hot wife. And before that, he's been with at least one other smoking hot woman. The Senator is either a guy who beats it to these women or a closet homosexual on account of his obsession with another guy's nether regions. More importantly, you do not represent good Bills fans. I await the obligatory lame gay-themed retort by Senator shoe-shiner.
  18. 1. Leafs 1. Bills 3. Raptors 4. Jays
  19. You're an idiot. If you want to hide behind the cloak of legality, then the facts are that he served his time and should be given a fresh start. The underlying notion is that what he did was morally reprehensible so that's why he shouldn't be forgiven and why you can't root for him. So what are your thoughts on putting deer heads in your living room? Can you justify it in any way other than your lame contradictory legal argument?
  20. How do you feel about people going hunting and proudly displaying the head of a deer they shot in their living room? There is such a ridiculous hypocrisy when it comes to this stuff.
  21. This is sadly true. I like Trent Edwards, and think he could be a really good QB in this league, but he needs to grow a pair and start taking chances on guys that are covered.
  22. Not to be a T.O. apologist, but if you look at which receivers have the most drops, they're usually some of the top guys at that position. It's just simple math. The more you get thrown to, the higher your drops will be. I don't think anyone would argue that Braylon Edwards is a really good receiver, but he had a lot of drops last year if I remember correctly.
  23. Are you one of his kids? http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/epitomy
  24. hahahaha that's the best one so far
  25. Get off your high horse. I suppose you think you are a better coach than Belichick too just because you told little mikey to stay away from drugs. This is professional football we are talking about here, not high school sports. The objective is to win, not to make a difference in their lives. If you are developing players, it's not so they will buy you a beer and tell their grandchildren about you, but rather to win. Anything else is secondary. Why do you think some players take less money to play for a winner. In every sport, not just football. Can you see someone doing that to come to the Bills to play special teams? I mean, we've got the most innovative special teams coach in the NFL, don't we? I still can't figure out whether you think Tom Brady is a great QB or not. Throwing to the tight ends for 4 yards and kicking field goals?? Are you on crack? Are you sure there's not some parallel bizarro league you've been watching for the last decade? I'm not disputing Bill Walsh or Joe Montana's credentials at all. But the reason they are looked upon so highly is because they won super bowls and were consistently good. Same as Belichick. The idea is to win, and that's how everyone measures a coach's pedigree. Everyone but you, apparantly.
