  1. Is that Chan Gailey after Trent Edwrds gets hurt again?
  2. Felser has seemed out of touch. Parcells is the GM in Miami and has been for two years. I remember a couple of years ago Felser compared a young JP Losman to Terry Bradshaw.
  3. Who has made TO a scapegoat for the 2009 Bills? Not anyone I know. TO was professional his entire time here. Mason seems like a jerk trying to stir the pot.
  4. For the same reason Jauron was. He looks great in pads but unfortunately when the whistle blows he plays soft and dumb.
  5. His small frame can't handle the pounding. Think of him like a Warrick Dunn or Reggie Bush. Great players, just not big enough to be an everydown player.
  6. "You can wish in one hand and crap in the other, and see which one gets filled first." Mickey as played by Burgess Meredith to Sylvester Stallone as Rocky.
  7. "Reggie Torbor continued to get more snaps than Aaron Maybin with the starters at outside linebacker" Maybin is fast shaping up to be one of the biggest 1st round busts in bills history.
  8. It depends on how you define RB. For 20-25 smashmouth carries, Lynch is the best option on the team. Jackson should spell Lynch or replace him when injured. CJ Spiller is going to be a 3rd down specialist, change of pace RB, and receiver out of the backfield. He'll also return kicks. He is not an everydown back.
  9. "So the starting offensive line Thursday was, left to right, Nick Hennessey, Andy Levitre, Geoff Hangartner, Kirk Chambers and Cornell Green." Let's pray that this never actually occurs during the regular season.
  10. Some assclown poster on the is site (I believe Mr. Nix) predicted Carrington would be better than Phil Hansen! Maybe I'm skeptical, but perhaps you should wait at least one NFL snap before you crown a guy.
  11. There's a flower in the mud. You're absolutely right. Modrak grades the players and the GM and coaching staff fills team needs.
  12. Will NEVER happen, NEVER.
  13. Trade bait? What team would trade anything for a guy who can't play in the NFL?
  14. Gailey didn't draft or sign any of these QB's. He's going to start who he thinks is best. I still think it's Edwards despite regressing last year, he did show promise before getting concussed. Plus, Gailey is the first legit OC he's had.
  15. I heard JP Losman wants to clean up the environment too.
  16. The year was 1993 and it was a friday night. Living in Fort Lauderdale, a buddy of mine worked at the Weston Hotel and told me he got late word that the Bills would be staying there for the playoff game against the fins (the game where Miami could not stop the screen to Thurman and got us to the superbowl). Anyhow, I lived about five minutes from the hotel and arrived there and sat in the lobby hoping to get a glimpse of the players. While there, there was a knock-out babe seated by herself that I started to chat with. She was so pleasant and told me she lived in florida. I told her I was a Bills fan and she told me she was dating one of the players. She didn't want to tell me but finally confessed the player was none other than Jim Kelly. My next line was "Boy, how awesome to fly into a city and have a beautiful woman waiting for you." She was so flattered she took my name and address. About two months later I got an autographed picture from Kelly which I still have this day. I don't know if this became Kelly's wife but she was a real catch. Anyhow, the players arrived on the team bus and it was a thrill for me to stand right next to them. I remember seeing Andre Reed, Henry Jones, Carwell Gardner, Bruce Smith, James Lofton, and Nate Odomes. The best part was that there was hardly anyone else in the lobby. The players were very focused and I just knew they would beat the crap out of the Dolphins which they did. I never made it to Buffalo to see a game during the glory years but watched all that were televiseds in Ft. Lauderdale. It was really cool to see these guys up close and in person. And the autograph that I didn't really expect arrived which was icing on the cake.
  17. Aren't Moorman and Parrish the emergency QB's? Seeing how the guy pictured is a brother I'll go with Parrish.
  18. Preseason games: 1st: Starters play 1-3 series. Scrubs play rest. 2nd: Starters play 1-3 series. Scrubs play rest. 3rd: Starters play one half. Scrubs play rest. 4th: Starters play 1-2 series. Scrubs play rest. The NFL preseason is a joke. Charging full price for these games is a crime. And don't give me the assessing the talent bullcrap. Coaches know from practice whether a guy can play or not. Preseason could be cut down to two games, even with a 16 game regular season. But what Goddell is positiong for is really to lengthen the season to increase revenue. And cutting preseason games is the way he'll sell it.
  19. Does it matter? None of them are capable NFL starters.
  20. Your observation was pretty funny (and quite astute I might add) as I watched #5 throw wounded ducks downfield.
  21. Telengectasia macularis eruptiva perstans (TMEP). A skin condition where there are increased mast cells in the skin.
  22. And you'd love the attention if Rex Ryan, Mark Sanchize, and Revis Island were in Buffalo instead of NYC.
  23. Just like Peyton Manning.
  24. NFL Game Rewind? I'm not getting sunday ticket this year but would consider watching the games for a lesser price after the fact. How does this work???
