  1. Let's see. The guy the coaching staff had all offseason and preseason to evaluate and deemed to be the starting QB is replaced after 2 weeks then cut a week later. Is it any wonder the Bills are an inept franchise?
  2. But a poster here, I believe that goes by the name of "Mr. Nix", insisted over the summer than Carrington would be better than Phil Hansen. This for a player that hadn't taken one snap in the NFL compared to one heck of a DE in Hansen.
  3. And if Clay Matthews was a Buffalo Bill and did the same to Aaron Rodgers you'd love it. Just sayin'.
  4. I'm sure the Bills brass will once again try their best to avoid the teams biggest needs...Qb and OT. Damn, how long have we been saying that.
  5. Nix's best move as GM? Not trading Marshawn Lynch. That's right. Not trading Lynch. I didn't like the off-field issues either but he's has stayed out of trouble, hopefully for good. And no one can argue he runs hard on sunday and has truly earned his yards behind a patchwork O-line. I like Fred Jackson. CJ Spiller has skills but he's not an everydown back and certainly not built to run consistently between the tackles. For my money, Lynch is the best all-around everydown back on the team. The most Nix could get would be a 3rd rounder, maybe even a 2nd. But for me, I'll keep the guy that already has proven he can play in the NFL and is still young.
  6. This has Rob Johnson written all over it.
  7. Great post until I got to the part where you state "Nix has a 2-3 year plan in progress." He's had one FA period and one draft to upgrade the team. The fact of the matter the team is now worse than when Brandon was GM. He's neglected the teams two biggest needs in OT and QB, drafted Spiller when RB was one ofthe few strengths of the team, and his draft class looks to mediocre at best. If this is the plan for the next 2-3 years, then be prepared to surpass Detroit, LA, and Cleveland as the laughing stock of the NFL.
  8. But London Fletcher makes all his tackles downfield.
  9. How about a box of athletic tape? Throw in Maybin and McCargo and that would be a great trade for the Bills.
  10. Clausen might be a complete bust, who knows? But you have to seriously question Nix's ability to assemble an NFL roster. Any casual Bills fan could clearly see Edwards, Fitz, and Brohm were not capable starters last year. The reward far far exceeded any risk with Clausen in the second round. And the guy they picked in Troup looks to be nothing special. What a dysfunctional inept mess.
  11. That guy worked his ass off and was a pretty decent player looking back.
  12. You are one sick pathetic bastard.
  13. He was a better receiving threat than DE.
  14. Hindsight is 20/20 but I gotta agree with you.
  15. Can we still blame John Guy?
  16. I don't know who has a worse haircut, Trent Edwards or Tom Brady. They're both going for the hippie-grung look. Trent's sideburns give him the nod IMO. He's trying to look like Joe Namath or Luke Perry. Either way it's uncool.
  17. I thought guys from Stanford are supposed to be smart.
  18. I'd rather have London Fletcher. Thanks again Marv.
  19. The Bills sadly are no better than those four teams. They could win 2 of them based on law averages but no way they win 4.
  20. You want extreme irony here? Tom Donahoe traded up to get JP Losman in part because he felt the following years QB class was weak and because GB was rumored to be interested in JP. As fate would have it we get JP Losman one year and GB gets Aaron Rodgers the next. How'd that work out?
  21. I expect it to be pretty ugly at Lambeau next week. Your "progress" may have to wait until 10/31/10 when the Bills play the equally inept Chiefs because this team is going to get punished by the Pats, Jets, Jags, and Ravens.
  22. The Bills have a great trio of RB's and Gailey loves to run the ball. Jackson and Lynch appear to be the workhorses with Spiller getting 10-15 touches a game. With that trio and only one football, will the Bills have someone that rushes for over 1,000 yards in 2010? And what if the Bills actually had a good O-line. Could two guys get 1,000 yards like Byner and Mack did for Cleveland years ago. Food for thought.
  23. That is a very good question. Here are some others: Who on the O-line can play besides Wood? When will the Bills get an NFL caliber TE? Is there a NFL starting caliber WR on the roster besides Evans? Can Trent Edwards throw in cold weather? Is the Bills LB corps the worst in the NFL?
  24. No! The Bills have a great stable of RB's and a great secondary. Otherwise this team is bad, really bad. Miami 24 Buffalo 13. Season 4-12.
