  1. 9 wins? Son, if your going to work here you've gotta' stay off the drugs.
  2. Back in the NFL...until his bounce passes to open receivers and ill-fated sacks piss off Pete Carroll, possibly by the end of preseason.
  3. Bell looks the part in his pads but when the whistle blows he plays soft. Like the chick with the hot bod seen at a distance, he looks good from far but is far from good. The Bills front office has had two drafts to bring in a LT, the most important position on the O-line. The position remains a glaring need. What gives?
  4. Let's have him play opposite Lee Evans. He can't really be much worse than James Hardy or any other stiff they put out there. Plus, we'd have the option of punting on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd downs and avoid those oh so common 3 and outs.
  5. Hello, you play to win the game. For our last 3-13 season we were rewarded Mike Williams.
  6. My opinion of Pete Carroll just went in the toilet.
  7. Trent Edwards can play quarterback.
  8. Lynch for Merriman is a great deal for both parties. SD gets a severely under-rated Cali RB to pound the ball and we fill a major need on defense. It will never happen though. Makes to much sense for both teams.
  9. Great clip. Thanks for sharing. While Byrd's run support is suspect, he has tremendous ball skills.
  10. I'm not from Missouri but the likes of Losman, McGahee, Williams, McCargo, Whitner, Hardy, and Maybin have raised just a little bit of skepticism on my part. So keep telling yourself the Bills are turning things around this season. We've been saying that for a decade. For me, I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid and will to wait to see what happens on the field before I share your optimsim.
  11. Thanks for telling us about your encounter. Trent Edwards seems like a well-mannered person with a good outlook on things. I heard an intoxicated Brohm was at the superbowl in Miami this past year and made a tool of himself.
  12. Can't miss on the first three picks? Every team says that and it's just about impossible to do. Spiller makes the O-line and QB better? Yea, just like TO did. A DT tackle was a necessity at #2-3. Agreed. But how do you know Troupe has the "wortk ethic and attitude." Anything after round three is gravy? Polian and Butler regularly counted on late round picks to be important players on the team like Ballard, McKeller, Schultz, Patton, Seals, etc. How in god's name can you say Carrington is better than Hansen at this point? Hansen was one heck of a player. Carrington hasn't taken one NFL snap. Let's wait until the pads are on and these guys play against NFL caliber competition before we annoint them. We all hope they can play but show me somerhing on the field first. To expect anything else at this point is just dumb. Just ask Raider fan about their franchise QB they drafted #1 overall four years ago.
  13. Spiller's too small to be an every down back. His body won't take the pounding. He'll be a tremendous assett 3rd down when we need to get between 4-8 yards. The closest players to him of recent vintage are Warrick Dunn and Reggie Bush.
  14. Parrish has been an excellent punt returner but Spiller I suspect will replace him.
  15. Just like JP Losman, Lee Evans, and Willis McGahee.
  16. All I can say is that Mike Mularkey was labeled an offensive guru for the play of Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddox. Those guys sucked almost as bad as Mularkey's playcalling and JP Losman in Buffalo.
  17. Okay, here we go with the "Brown should start" debate.
  18. OLB's out the wazoo? By that logic we are set at the QB position too.
  19. We've got some good weapons in Evans, Jax, Lynch, and now Spiller. The problem is with that sad sack of crap O-line there's going to be little time for the QB to stand in the pocket and no holes open for the RB's to get thru. The Bills are positioning themselves well for the 1st pick of the draft in 2011.
  20. Your fluorescent Transformer-like avatar is bugging me out.
  21. Agreed. This was Nix thinking outside the box. Depending on Troup, Nix will be a genius or a goat. Let's hope Nix is a genius.
  22. I guess Lane Kiffin was right after all. He never wanted Russell.
  23. Let's give ole' crackhead the benefit of the doubt that she lied about her age and was a prostitute. Either way though, bad situation.
  24. In the time I read this Trent just blew dry his hair... again.
