For TT it is "This week"
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To the OP I don't agree. This team has been constructed as such that Taylor needs to be the reason the Bills do not lose. By this I mean, the Bills do not want to rely on Taylor to out play the other teams QB. Taylor has been coached to play smart and conservative and give the running game and the D a chance to win the game. If you want to put this game on someone to 'show you' it is the D. It is time for Rex to dial up a game plan like he did in the second game of the NE series last year. This is how the Bills will win. Taylors stat line will probably be 17-29 for 195 yards and one touchdown with no Int's. It will be this in a win or a loss. It usually is. -
If Tyrod and EJ both hit FA market
atlbillsfan1975 replied to TSOL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
...will anyone care? Kidding. IF this did happen, i would expect EJ to get signed first. Tyrod will be more complicated. -
I'm great w Lawson starting . The scheme fit a healthy Alexander early in the season when he had fresh legs. Lawson is just hitting his stride now post IR. Lawson is going to have big game before seasons end.

Tom Melton on Tyrod Taylor. Perfect analysis.

Taylor does not possess the same speed or elusiveness that Vick did. Vick could get the corner and turn upfield and get another 10-15 yards. Taylor can get to the sideline and maybe get the first down, but that's it. Vick runs circles around Taylor in speed and quickness and overall QB skills. This guy did nail Taylor. -
Taylor showing frustration to Buffalo media
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Taylor has shown he is a let's face what's right in front of me guy. Look at the contract he signed. I don't see anything wrong here. Taylor said he wants to focus on Pittsburgh and the other stuff will be taken care of later. Is he not right? Reporters sometimes turn into instigators, wanting to become part of the story. 'Asked and answered' needs to be a phrase more professionals learn. -
Vic did a great job on this piece. He summed up where this team is at. The fact that Vic felt the Bills could win and then they did not win, is the reason why Vic wrote this story. To the Poster who said Vic was acting like a fan, no he is not. An event happened, Bills played a game and lost, is why Vic feels the way he does now. Vic also collected quotes and other info to back up why he feels this way. He gave facts mixed w his opinion. Unfortunately it is a growing opinion.

Bills vs. Raiders Postgame - Well That Sucked
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Read what I wrote. Taylors progressions should start w Watkins. Even more so when you account for the fact that Watkins is not playing full time. At least do that till teams pick up on it and then work in other wide out as the first read. -

atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Did anyone ask why Rex didn't call a timeout in the first half to avoid the delay of game penalty? Just silly. You have three timeouts and let the play clock run out. That showed he is disorganized. I am now on board with new coach and new QB. Tyrod just doesn't see the field. To have a wide open Watkins and not hit him is inexcusable. Your first read should always be Watkins!!!! In particular on a day like today w no Clay or Woods! -
Also the Bills red zone D has got to force FG tries for Oakland. Oakland will move the ball between the 20's. Rex has said the D needs to and will improve inside the 20. Time to see it.26-24 Bills. We are due. I don't think this will be a trap game for Oakland. If our guys stay healthy we can run the ball on them. TT will need to use his legs a bunch. I'm looking for 250-300 yds rushing for a Bills win.

We Should Pick Up the Option on Tyrod No Matter What
atlbillsfan1975 replied to a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The cap hit is most important for TT contract, in regards to funds available for other contracts. Correct me if I am wrong. With Taylor's cap hit being in the mid teens, this will provide the Bills the opportunity to sign quality FA's like they did this season. Whaley has proven he can draft decently ( I think very well). TT contract allows for a more complete team to be assembled. Maybe this is Whaleys plan. Then Whaley finds the next Prescott or Wilson in the 2018 draft and the Bills win 2 out of 3 Superbowls starting in 2019! -
Its Tuesday Night. Sleep on it.

Thank you OP for contributing useful content. Of that list there are about 6-7 names of quarterbacks that I wouldn't want over TT, because to me they do not provide the 'it' factor. The game winning clutch mentality. I would take Flaco before so many of those others. Flaco did it, put his team on his back and went on a great playoff and Super Bowl run. I think another piece to that stat you provided OP is when during the game and where on the field they occur. Those kind of posts are cool. Thank you. -
Goodwin doing slants equals no Goodwin. Fast but not durable.

True/False on Taylor & Offense
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yesterday was the first time I thought to myself Taylor reminds me of Vick. Taylor showed no touch when trying to hit a RB five yards down field. Taylor showed poor pocket awareness at times. Then Taylor would make an incredible run showing his speed. Taylor would also come back with just enough good passes to make you say ' why can't he do that all the time'? Vick was good enough to take teams to the playoffs. I think Taylor has much better surrounding cast then Vick did. Here's hoping! -
Not too nice of an article on Tyrod Taylor
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could poke holes in every player you named. After today I am getting annoyed with Taylor playing scared. Not sure where it is coming from. Could it be Taylor is being coached w a 'just don't lose the game' mentality? Or is Taylor not capable? -
Jordan Mills on Khalil Mack...God help us...
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. At some point the OC for Denver has to do something to help the RT. I hope our coaching staff will not try to leave Mills on an island with Mack.
