A few observations from the opposing team fam
atlbillsfan1975 replied to PatsFanNH's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hey OP, you still think Belichick wants Jones over Allen due to his “system”? -
I understand the thought and it could be necessary to do that If the front 4 can’t stop the run. Miller is amazing at pass rushing but his big looping paths to the QB have led to some large runs, Lawson, Groot, and A.J. Are good at setting the edge on runs. The Bills run D has been pretty darn tough the last couple of games, while NE run games has cooled off since the first half of the season.

9 against Detroit was high, 4.5 seems low. I think a lot of people are over emphasizing the V.M. injury. If there is one QB the Bills can beat w/o Miller, it is Jones. Jones is atrocious so far against the blitz. If the Bills can send people and hurry him, Jones will make mistakes. Looking for Milano, Edmunds, Johnson, and Hamlin to be blitzing from all angles. I am going to go out on a limb and say Elam gets a sack.

I was just thinking about how we haven’t heard any news since Saturday. I wonder if the swelling has gone down much? Sounds that will be the big tell. -
I remember liking Edwards when he came out of college. He could not stick on the Falcons, they have nobody at WR besides London.

Turn the heat on and all the way up, have them sweating and then hit a wall of cold.

Listening to some Pats reporters, R Stevenson is the better back. Not that big of a loss for them.

Private charter is the only way that plane makes it off the ground.

Khalil Shakir's pic on a milk carton

This coaching staff keeps rookies on a very short leash. I think Shakir and McKenzie’s snap count is getting closer to a 60/40. Maybe that leads to Shakir having a “breakout” game soon. -
Yea, that’s doesn’t look promising. Good grief we making up for years of good health in one season.

I had high hopes for him after the first two games. Last few he seems to really struggle being aware of where the ball is and getting his head around. Today he just looked a little out of position on some key plays. Hoping he can get it turned around.

Does any site keep a stat on defensive ranking on 3rd and long? Like to see if it’s just the Bills or the league in general. This D sure appears to give up a lot of 3rd and longs. -

Jackson has regressed throughout the season. The Dline is getting worked. Need to turn it around big time. -

McKenzie's Place in the Offense Going Forward
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Hines has all the speed and elusiveness that McKenzie has on a bigger frame. McKenzie’s deal is much easier to get out of after this season than Hines’s contract. I believe the Bills see Hines as a punt and kick returner/gadget player moving forward.
