President Trump's Foreign Policy (2)
Big Blitz replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
NEW: NYT’s Lulu Garcia-Navarro *repeatedly* asks NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte anti-Trump questions — he doesn’t bite🚨 RUTTE: "Let's face what is happening: There were 7 or 8 countries in Europe not at 2%. So now it’s 5% — a new benchmark." "Do we really think that we would have been able last week in The Hague to agree to that 5% if Trump would not have been reelected as President of the United States?" "So I think when somebody deserves praise, that praise should be given. And President Trump deserves all the praise." "Because without his leadership, without him being reelected President of the United States, the 2% this year and the 5% in 2035 — we would never, ever, ever have been able to achieve agreement on this." - Today

So much for the National Weather Service

Historically, Texas is flood prone. 125 years ago in 1900, before air conditioning even existed, over 8,000 Texans were killed in the Great Galveston Flood. Granted, that was a hurricane related event, but when the ground is already saturated with rain (as it has been over the past several weeks), and then we get a downpour, Texas floods, especially around rivers like the Guadalupe. We saw this with: 1913 Brazos River flood (284 fatalities) 1921 Thrall flood (215 fatalities) 1957 floods (5 fatalities) 1998 south-central Texas floods (31 fatalities) 2015 Texas–Oklahoma flood and tornado outbreak (30 fatalities) 2017 Hurricane Harvey (107 fatalities) -
Neither does Putin or Trump as far as I can tell.

Yep. This is definitely a ploy to hurt Republican candidates. They’ve been all over Twitter signaling how they can’t wait to vote for this party: All a farce. “Please buy my Teslas again. And, when my companies boom in the next 2-3 years I’ll be distanced from any suspicion or allegation it was because of the administration.”

Physical talent, sure. If you just mean the size/speed combo Football talent? Disagree.

The best NFL draft pick ever at every slot from No. 1 to 262

Strahan was a dominant force on the defensive line that stopped the Patriots’ perfect season. Thurman was great, but he might not have been the best running back on his college team.😆 -

Sounds like more of a failure of local emergency management officials. They are all in a CYA mode now trying to deflect blame to National Weather Service. The lawsuits will be coming. Having the sleeping quarters of a kids camp located in a flash flood zone is so stupid. -

Strahan's single-season sack record has a huge asterisk considering that Favre called a play to purposely give it to him. Thurman, meanwhile, led the league in yards per scrimmage four consecutive years, something no other player has ever done. He was NFL MVP and should've been the MVP of SB XXV, even in a loss. The guy who wrote that article is 27 years old, so there's that. -
Well this helps to explain why the Russia/Ukraine war won't end. China doesn't want it to end.

Former Arizona Cardinals kicker is running for a US House seat in AZ: -
Gone at last! The AP, via PBS, confirms the news, U.S. completes deporting 8 men from various nations to South Sudan after weeks of legal battles. It took nearly two months and two U.S. Supreme Court decisions, but it finally happened. The Associated Press is not happy, Eight men deported from the United States in May and held under guard for weeks at an American military base in the African nation of Djibouti while their legal challenges played out in court have now reached the Trump administration’s intended destination, war-torn South Sudan, a country the State Department advises against travel to due to “crime, kidnapping, and armed conflict.” Did you catch that? South Sudan is not a nice place. These eight “migrants” had all been convicted of violent crimes in the U.S. All eight had “final” orders of removal lodged against them. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2025/07/gone-at-last.php

I don’t know what happened. He got hurt. But I find it suspect that he’s still unsigned, including by the Bills, if he’s 100% healthy and Buffalos perception of him is all roses. This is an exceptionally talented player. His services would be in high demand if healthy and viewed as being a more committed player. At the very least we got the closest look and he would be back on the roster. But he’s not, nor is he on anybody else’s roster.

“I only have 35 posts so I can’t possibly be MAGA” defense. Cute. Almost as cute as the TDS jab - straight out of the MAGA starter pack. The only thing more predictable than your victim act is the desperate need to prove you’re not what you’re so obviously acting like. @BillsFanNC VPN alert. -
