  2. Maybe there are a lot of voters like me that thought the better choices in 2024 were Vance over Trump and Waltz over Harris for the nominations and Vance over Waltz in the general election in 2024?
  3. If you have ever learned the fundamentals of statistics you would understand the term “per capita” “There are so many murders in Chicago!” Well, compared to a smaller red county with a smaller population, but PER CAPITA that could be (and often is) the opposite. “Well, Chicago is wealthier because they have more people” Well, again, it’s wealth per person, whether an average, median or a measure of standard of living. In the US, cities are usually much higher than “red” counties. In fact, in nearly all instances, wealth is redistributed from “blue” jurisdictions to “red” - not only intrastate but nationally. I know you hate all those facts but perhaps it's time to accept them.
  4. An instance where it wasn't a mistake for Henry to use the stiff arm but rather it didn't help him was Dorian Strong's TD-saving tackle along the sideline of Henry in the second quarter (11:14). Henry was barreling along and tried to stiff-arm Strong, but Strong just knocked his arm away and made the tackle. Compare to Bishop's missed tackle on Henry's TD run at the 13:30 mark. Bishop actually did smash Henry's arm down, but it looks like he had taken a slightly wrong angle and he was too far behind Henry to drive into him. An instructive comparison for the Bills secondary. Strong showed hustle (he was the off corner), speed, and excellent tackling form. Maybe he should play safety.
  5. He is what he is. He's a proud facist calling for retribution yet I'm the one who needs to be silenced? “He’s being mean!” is that too strong? Please, explain how we got here? Maybe the President should set an example. Oh, wait . . . “Moderates”!!!! Holy F**k, Dude. Walsh is an extremist who would live nothing better than to turn this nation into worse version than Russia. Is that what you're going for?
  6. I remember qb Richard Todd with full size shoulder pads. TE Mickey Schuler was good. Sack exchange was real. Wasn't a Gastineau fan. Giving him the business penalty...
  7. The generations that came before them have left them with a giant ***** sandwich for them to have to eat... They aren't raising themselves... They aren't teaching themselves... They don't make school curriculums... They aren't the ones who shipped millions of jobs overseas...
  8. The only justification for sending your kids to public school is not academics, but for social interaction. Gen Z, and Gen Alpha are proving that they are graduating with awful social skills.

  10. Thread for sharing Charlie Kirk interviews that show Charlie's complete thoughts on issues that have been purposely twisted by the left. I'll start with Charlie's full comments on black pilots. Again this thread is about sharing the full content. It's not about a 30 second clip that you may have watched previously on Facebook or X. 30 seconds often purposely taken out of context and meant to enrage. So it would be nice if you can at least take the time to watch half of this ten minute conversation before chiming in. I know that's almost certainly too much to ask of leftists. But anyway.... Edit to add.. Before anyone latches onto "DEI SIMP" on the video below. That's put there by his social media team and is clearly put there as click bait. The interaction itself is completely respectful from both sides.
  11. Nobody's asking for him to change his style. Or to eliminate all straight-arms. But yeah, when they get to you in the backfield, and it's a DL that's on you, that's not the time for him to be straight-arming. It just isn't. I'm very very sure they will coach him up on that. But it should never have happened. IMO this is partly a result of the fawning he hears when he gets a highlight play from a straight-arm. Heh heh. This. It's not nothing. It's a bad play, a mental mistake. A bad play that probably cost his team the game. Elite players make them too. And then do their best to iron out the problem. Can you point out where I used the word arrogance? I did chuckle at RochesterLifer's joke there. But I wasn't trying to imply arrogance so much as a bit of wanting to see himself on "Angry Runs" again this week, maybe allowing his excitement about the great feedback he usually gets about that tactic to twist his sense of when it's good to use it. And I would argue that "it" doesn't almost always work, if "it" refers to using the straight-arm in the backfield when already in the grip of a DL who's larger than him. I'm sure his coaches won't be telling him never to use the straight-arm again. But almost surely they've already told him there are times when it's just a bad idea, and he's got to better figure out when those times are. Still a terrific runner, though.
  12. The Jets had one good year and won the Super Bowl riding the charisma of Namath. It happened in the early days of the modern NFL and legitimized the AFL so it’s a big deal. Other than that, they’ve been a mediocre disappointment for their fans. The Bills have had some great years but have also been mostly mediocre. Rarely outright terrible. So, for most of the history with the Jets it has been a clash of unremarkable and mediocre teams. Forgettable games for the most part. Only the bettors cared. The early 80’s had some good games when we had Knox annd Fergie and we arrived as a force when we beat them to go to the playoffs in the late 80’s. They had a few good teams in the late 90s and beat us in some big games when Flutie was QB. I think they even went to the AFC Championship against Denver. But, the rivalry with the Pats and Dolphins seems much bigger because they’ve been very successful at times so we thought it was a huge deal when we played them. For 17 years we’d get super excited for the Pats games and the Pats thought we were as scary as navel lint. Now the worm has turned. Funny thing is, the Jets might now be decent and the only team that’ll give us some trouble this year. They’ve always gotten good players and put together good rosters and had hired good coaches but it never works. They’ve never built a sustainable winning culture like the Steelers, Niners, Pats and now us. Having lived through the 70s I’ll always think of Miami as the main rival. I’m still wired to hate them. These are great times and enjoy it because I think we’ll continue to pound them and the others to dust for many years to come.
  13. Obvious newbie. Trying to include facts in an internet dicussions instead of just emotions and opinions. You'll never win an argument that way!
  14. Before sh*tting all over yourself as is your habit, at least pretend you are paying attention. There are a handful of people here and many across the country celebrating it. 100% of those people are on the same political side as you. Put down the sauce.
