  1. Past hour
  2. Ran full practice w pads yesterday
  3. Well... I guess I'd rather hear ankle than achilles... but still...
  4. Sure is weird we do this for Kirk and not the two Minnesota lawmakers that were murdered in their beds by a right winger. Wonder why.
  5. McDermott’s hard practice he put them through yesterday? I don’t know.
  6. Prolly just precautionary. Sore foot? Here.. wear a boot for stability and use the scooter in the training room. Stay off it. We need you Sunday vs Jets" sorta thing. No reports so he's full go IMO. Until we hear otherwise.
  7. Walking boot for precaution. Scooter for fun!
  8. Apparently it was a roll-through practice for Oliver
  9. AGAIN.............................Back to the Charlie Kirk Thread.
  10. I mean if he's gliding around on scooter, then I'm worried he's been told to not put any weight on it. Doesn't bode well for someone who's being pushed around by 330 lbs guards, sometimes two a time. Not good, but lets hope for the best.
  11. I think the hard practice was yesterday, and the walk through today. That said, I'm not sure what a walk through is in the NFL. I envision it literally walking through plays (you are here, you are there, etc) to ensure everyone on the same page.
  12. I am not being disingenuous, I’m trying to figure out how what you posted clearly states there are more jobs than unemployed people. Nothing in this: https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/empsit.pdf shows that. And yeah, heavy manufacturing jobs are horrible. They’re unsafe, unskilled and don’t pay much. We should embrace automation for this kind of work. I freely admit I don’t know the hardcore specifics of H1B. I used it as an example of conservatives like Kirk being opposed to foreign immigration and employment in the United States. Im a city planner. I find this stuff more interesting than anything.
  13. Until you have the shooter it's impossible to know what motivates them.
  14. Oh check out Billy money bags over here!
  15. I love the optimism! Next thing we will be saying: “the splenectomy was precautionary!”
  16. I'm wondering if it is a stat that over a period of time may be more accurate than looking at a single game only. Meaning you could statistically have a game where it looks incorrect (on which QB was better), but in the long run it balances out a bit. I went to look at the QBRs from last season, assuming Josh might be lower than I would expect. But in 2024, Lamar and Josh were tied for the best QBR at 74.8 each (the two MVP candidates). Joe Burrow was 3rd and Jayden Daniels was 4th. In 2023, Brock Purdy had the best QBR at 72.8. Dak was second, Josh 3rd, Lamar 4th, Herbert 5th. In 2022, Mahomes was #1 at 79.0, then Josh, Tua, Hurts, and Goff. (Lamar was 9 and Burrow 10 in 2022). In 2021, it was Rodgers at 74.1, followed by Brady, Herbert, Stafford, Mahomes, and Allen. I personally never really look at or use this stat (QBR), but again, wondering if it is more accurate over a larger sample size than one game. Because looking at the lists for the last three years, it does seem like generally, the best QBs of that season did end up with the higher QBRs.
  17. But the killer made it political? Charlie was killed specifically because of his Political believes.
