Report: Terry McLaurin requests trade
SoonerBillsFan replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope the team is preparing a game plan with him out just in case, or limited at best. We need this week 1 game against the Ravens -
Epenesa, a second, and Cook. So make it a first round pick if you want. If Parsons doesn’t want to play there anymore then we have an upper hand in negotiation. Guys that would demand multiple first round picks plus more have names like Allen or Mahomes.
-
If he can play week 2 - he’s going to play week 1. Because of the magnitude of the game. They said 5 weeks because that takes us up to game 1. They think he’ll be ready by then. If he isn’t then this is closer to 6-8 weeks meaning we’ll see him around week 3 or 4.

Spector....he's the one who usually leaves practice like this:

Then wouldn't we move to more of a "power back" someone 220ish or heavier? Barkley is 230

They said 5 weeks yes? That puts him back in time for week 2 against the Jets IF it heals right. High ankle sprains can linger -
This might be a direction the Bills are moving to anyway. KC has gone in that direction since they traded away Hill (and they got 2 superbowl wins after that). All recent superbowl winners relied on superior defense. You look at the Bills roster, we have a strong OL which allows us to get more of a steady offense, not explosive offense. But we do have more potential, talent wise, on defense. If things goes more or less as they planned, and injuries does not show the ugly face on defense like the last 2-3 years in the playoff, I expect to see a steady (hope for dominating) defense and opportunistic offense (with Josh showing some superman form here and there) in January.

I'm starting to think a deal gets done this week. And I would be surprised if it was $15M.

time to reach an injury settlement and move on. He just can't stay healthy and it sucks.
-
He's a 4-3 D End. Taking the spot created with the release of Kameron Cline.

I agree training camp fodder unless somehow he is a revelation.. but 90% training camp fodder. Spector probably goes on IR, gets cut, or whatever... we fill the spot.
