  2. At a certain point ability plays above the scheme. Do the Bills have the ability to play above coaching?
  3. I just want to operate with a higher sense of urgency ….. no particular reason comes to mind.
  4. It's not a matter of liking or hating cities. The Yankees have a long, proud history of great players and winning championships. Many were long time Yankee fans before the Blue Jays became a team. Many of the Blue Jay fans here are fans because of the affiliation with the Buffalo Bisons. There's also the fact that the Yankees and the Mets are both NY teams, just as the Bills are the only NY team. Personally, I'm a Yankee fan and am disappointed by the Yankees season ending. They were beaten by a clearly better team. The Blue Jays played championship caliber baseball. Best of luck the rest of the way.
  5. With or without a strongly worded letter sent to his locker? 🤔
  6. Stephen Miller just claimed Trump has “plenary authority.” That means absolute power - the same power Hitler claimed to end democracy in 1933. Hitler used “plenary authority” to make dictatorship legal. Miller is now invoking the same idea for Trump. They’re not hiding it anymore. They’re telling us exactly what they plan to do. This isn’t politics. It’s fascism - loud, proud, and out in the open. This is 1933 all over again. Thank you, MAGA. You own it.
  7. I agree. I see the constant negativity and/or bipolar overreactions exhibited by many posters here and it doesn't make me question their football knowledge. More than anything it makes me wonder what kind of people they are and how well-adjusted they are (or aren't)... how they react to adversity in their own lives, how successful they are as human beings... how happy they are (or aren't) in their lives... whether they're hypocritical in holding others to higher standards than they hold themselves... whether they live vicariously through the team because they're frustrated in life... whether they're too invested in the Bills to an unhealthy degree... those are the sort of questions that come to mind when I read a lot of the posts here.
  8. Pretty sure they lost to the Raiders. The Bills will lose games, they weren’t going unbeaten. The Patriots will lose games too. They were 2-2 after 4.
  9. Apparently I'm the only one on the entire board who doesn't think Tre has been bad. With maybe one exception, the only plays I recall him being beat on this year were plays were there was no pressure on the QB and he had to man cover for an extended period of time, which is a losing proposition for any CB. There were a few plays against Miami where he was in an impossible situation,, trying to stay with Waddle on crossers with plenty of traffic. Feel free to flame away. Just know that I'm not gonna debate anyone. Everyone can believe what they want... as will I.
  10. Go Jays!!!! It's amazing how many Ontarians cheer for the Sabres but asking a WNY to cheer for the Jays is like asking them to eat glass. Not sure why that is? Which city does Buffalo dislike more, New York or Toronto? Just curious. New York same State/Country. Toronto closer proximity. I feel like the Halton/Hamilton/Niagara corridor in Ontario is culturally almost identical to Buffalo and the surrounding area.
  11. I think fans have every right to want him cut, it’s not a shot at Tre White the human being. Fans love Tre for what he’s meant for past Bills teams, but if his roster spot can be upgraded then I believe it’s a justified desire. I’m not screaming for him to be cut, but I definitely want an upgrade at that spot ASAP, that might not be possible unfortunately.
  12. I don't think it's comparable to the Pats, or that WE are comparable to the Pats in terms of where we are. We're still top 3 in most power rankings. The Pats are in the late 'teens in most. I'm not saying they can't win the division, but it's unlikely they get a sweep this season. If we beat them in the rematch, that's 2 games they have to make up - and their losses so far are conference losses.
  13. I go through ProTuff Decals. They have our information on file so re-orders are simple, and they allow me to send custom designs that they turn into decals. Yeah, every team has to apply their decals. Helmets go to their parent company (we only deal with Riddell), for reconditioning and recertification after every season. They come back freshly painted and with a certification for the current season. Helmets are only allowed to be recertified for 10 years, after which they are no longer eligible to be used. The decals are easy to apply and are actually easy to remove within the first couple days if you want to adjust the location. The adhesive really doesn't "lock on" to the helmet until about after a week. At that point, removing the decal is much more difficult, and there is no way it can be reused. Taking it off doesn't require a heat gun, just a good strong pull. Sometimes, if there are several layers of paint from older helmets, taking off the decal will remove the paint down to the original shell. It's why the head coach no longer lets me use stripes down the center. I pretty much learned through trial and error. A lot of the kids were putting the logos at all sorts of wrong angles and it looked horrible to me so I took over doing everyone's helmet. Roughly three to four per day during the summer practices.
  14. Our depth on defense is a disaster. Oline is about our only good position of depth. LBs - quickly collapsed. CB - Strong and Hairston - done and out could be a red shirt season DT - rookies DE - Bosa and Groot and PED Hoecht
