Lori
From TG's ESPN blog: Select your AFC East all-decade squad. I figure that with few exceptions (Brian Moorman, Ruben Brown, and ... um .. let me think ...) we Bills fans can serve as unbiased observers for this one. How about Eric Moulds or Takeo Spikes, or maybe one of the returners?

billsfan89
Bills guys that should be on that list. Special Teams. P- Brian Morman PR- Roscoe Parrish KR- Leodis Mckelvin Defense DT- Pat Williams CB- Nate Clemens Possibly Takeo Spikes, Winfield, and Donte Whitner Offense WR- Lee Evans T- Jason Peters FB- Larry Centers Possibly Ruben Brown and Eric Moulds A respectable amount of representation for the Bills. Two guys on the defensive side of the Ball. Three guys on offense. The Biggest Representation being Special teams where we have been the best unit for some time now. 11 guys on each side of the ball 4 teams so the bills have average representation to me but heavy on the special teams sides. Lori
Ever hear of Curtis Martin? And my apologies if you are joking. Martin is my pick, too. Has to be -- no other back in the division has had more than a year or two at the top.
ganesh
Ever hear of Curtis Martin? And my apologies if you are joking. Sorry I completely forgot about him....Though he already had 5 years of his career in the 90s....Still better than Travis... I used Henry only because he went on to have a good couple of seasons with the Titans too.

If you are going to have guys like Randy Moss and Alan Fanaca who have been in the divison for a year or two than why can't McKelvin be on the team. Jeez, besides Leon Washington of the Jets, how about fuggin Terrence McGee for KR of our own team. McGee has been one of, if not THE, best in the NFL for a few years until last year. I watch the Jets a decent amount and I like Washington but he isn't that great of a return man (very good but not great). I guess If I was to re do it I would put in McGee but I do think that Mckelvin will be one of the top two kick return men (Hester may be the only guy who is better) in the league in the next two years. I think he is that good.

silvermike
Can we sneak in Thurman Thomas because he was in the AFC East in 2000? Or should the list actually only count the achievements by each player, in the AFC East, in the 2000s? Or, I think, most interesting, for a single year: QB: Tom Brady '07 (NWE) RB: Curtis Martin '04 (NYJ) FB: Larry Centers '01 (BUF) WR: Randy Moss '07 (NWE) WR: Eric Moulds '02 (BUF) TE: Daniel Graham '03 (NWE) It's harder to pick out a year for the non-skill position players... billsfreak
Assuming this is for the decade just finishing up (the entire decade, not just the last few years), my team would be as follows: Offense: QB-Tom Brady RB-Curtis Martin RB-Ricky Williams FB-Richie Anderson WR-Eric Moulds WR-Randy Moss TE-Randy McMichael T-Jason Peters T-Matt Light G-Ruben Brown G-Logan Mankins C-Kevin Mawae Defense: DE-Jason Taylor DE-John Abraham DT-Richard Seymour DT-Sam Adams ILB-Zach Thomas OLB-Takeo Spikes OLB-Mike Vrabel CB-Sam Madison CB-Ty Law SS-Lawyer Milloy FS-Brock Marion Special Teams: Kicker: Adam Vinatieri Punter: Brian Moorman Kick Returner: Terrence McGee Special Teamer: Larry Izzo Never realized how weak the AFC East has been as certain positions compared to the other AFC divisions-TE, RB, T, G,DT & WR
