A playoff run maybe but not a Super Bowl. That's the goal. IMO with no AFC team that stands out, the Super Bowl will be a similar result to last season where the NFC team blows out the AFC team. 6 hours ago, MasterStrategist said: I think you might have misread my comment ---- I don't think we have a strong defense by any means. Our pass rush is suffering without Ed and Hoecht, both key pieces to what we were trying to do. Our secondary is inconsistent at times too. But the hope is we continue to improve with the pieces we have left and some of the younger players (Walker, Sanders, Max) can step up at critical times. I'm very encouraged that we have started to "sure up" the run defense --- more passing/leads to more turnover opportunities, and getting teams into obvious passing situations. But the key thing --- is winning the turnover battle. That's the ultimate differentiator Winning the turnover battle requires luck. Look at last season compared to this season. 1 Quote

What it usually is used as a stand in for if belief or hope/wish. Faith is based on a demonstrated past practice. You pick me up everyday at 7 and we carpool to work. You’ve been doing it for years. When you drop me off at night and say , “ See you in the morning.” I have FAITH you will be there because you have demonstrated it. Hope is wanting something to happen because you wish it to be so. What has this coaching staff and front office demonstrated to you during the JA era that engenders Faith much less hope that they are capable of winning it all? I, like every other mafia member, want them to win it. But I absolutely am of VERY little faith in regards to them actually doing it. 2 1 Quote

Davante Adams was never coming here. He made it abundantly clear what he thinks of Buffalo. Allen is a God at Qb. But he is far from the best deep ball thrower in the league. You are so right. Allen is not a good deep ball thrower and Adams was a dream. If Cowherd wanted to prove a point he would have brought up Waddle. Who cares if Josh Allen completed most of his passes to tight ends and running backs last week? The media is so ready to go all in on the Patriots and it will be nauseating if they win Sunday. To say that the coach is on the hot seat if the Bills lose is absurd. Actually, he did not say he will be on the hot seat, he said he "could" be on the hot seat. He "could" be in the coach of the year discussion should the Bills win on Sunday. Cowherd left himself a lot of wiggle room with his take by using the word "could". Quote

Wait until Allen retires and people will be longing for these days. I get keeping your expectations tempered, but where’s the enjoyment in just being a negative person ? Bills are 8-4 and control their playoff destiny. Allen finally has an elite running game, but now people complain about not having a WR1. When they had one (Diggs) it didn’t end up making much of a difference. 1 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Any guy can tell what is wrong with a football team AFTER watching the game. I mean the Bills leading WR has under 600 yards. How hard is that to analyze??? Of course Shakir is a #3 WR. Did anyone expect him to play outside and be a #1? Also what team doesn’t have to scheme people open? There are three maybe four WRs in the whole league that can beat double coverage by themselves. Seriously he said nothing more than what most people were posting on here when they were 4-0. If you are not a total homer, you can see the flaws on the roster. Here is the thing. There isn't a team in the league that is that much more talented if any. Very few teams have even more than one superstar player and none have Allen. With KC taking a step back there is no team that even McDermott can't beat. They only lose if Allen plays bad and turns the ball over. Yes he is our MVP but he has had some bad games this year. Maybe now that the kid is announced and hopefully Hailey is doing well, he can relax, have fun, and win a Championship!!! 1 Quote

When Josh is happily retired, if he is without a single Lombardi, this will be a sad era to remember. 2 1 Quote

(Pats fan here) Let's not pretend that the NFC is full of juggernauts either. The Rams and Seahawks have three losses. GB has 3 losses and a tie. Everyone is beatable. People are getting way too worked up about the Chiefs/Bengals/Ravens having down years, and the Pats being in front of the Bills. This is the NFL. Every team CAN beat any other team. This is doubly true in the playoffs or super bowl. Quote
RyanC883 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Pretty spot on. Outside of Allen and Cook, this is like a drought era roster. Quote
Since1981 Posted 39 minutes ago Posted 39 minutes ago I bet Josh and Hailey are happier that $ was spent on OL, RB, TE than what Burrow got. I am 110% for 3 yrs Josh has insisted on best OL or my price goes up (injury protection). I’ve been screaming for fast WR. Burrow shows what can happen Quote
