No one for Josh to throw to yet the Bills are ranked 11th in passing with 2,937 yards.  The top passing yard team, Dallas, has 3,581 yards.  A difference of 644 yards.  Dallas has 109 more passing attempts, most likely due to being behind way more often than Buffalo.

So, the nobody's Josh has to throw to are doing pretty damn well.

Okay Mrs. Beane. Bills are 11th due to the  brilliance of Josh Allen. No other qb is this League puts up 4,000 yards passing and 45 total tds with this group a replacement level players. Give Josh a chase/higgins or McConkey/whomever LAC also has or a McLaurin or a Waddle (which Beane got tricked out of getting) and Josh is MVP every year.

Yes my impression lately listening between the lines of Bills media outlets is Beane getting set up as the fall guy. The messaging has been remarkably consistent

Which I'm fine w btw. I think he's been decent if not spectacular.

Not sure what you mean by spectacular... Beane is def not. But he builds the roster on depth and not stars. Whether a person thinks that is a fault or a virtue is up for the debate with the salary cap. He has absolutely derelected the WR position. And Boogie Basham says hi with all his meddling buddy draft picks on the DL. Personally, I wish we had a guy that pushed money to 2033 like Howie Roseman does. But that may be a Pegula restriction.

McDermott ran the same Philosophy as the playoff game vs Cincinnati 4 years ago in the 1st half.... It was a disaster and the same results

He then became more aggressive and it was better.

Then up two scores on Allen's last td to Hawes, he reverted back to the same Philosophy and Cincinnati scored in 50 seconds when the game should've been over....

-2nd half timeout mismanagement, check

-Terrible 3rd dwn defense, check

-End of game drive by opposing QB looking incredibly easy, check

Again, again and again. He doesn't learn

As already stated here over a hundred times by other people if the Bills win the Super bowl it will be in spite of Sean McDermott not because of him....

I'm getting to the point in the movie office space

" What is it you actually do here?"

The only silver lining is that Mahomes and Burrow probably won't be in the playoffs

3/4 of the way through the Bengals game the narrative was Allen has no weapons.

Then Burrow tossed a floater right to a blitzing CB for 6 and Allen put his cape on so it's all forgotten.

But it could still be true. I'm admittedly a crazy optimist who always expects they'll win. It's not an act for the boards.

But I'm.also not blind. IF we win it all this year it's because Allen went nuclear in the playoffs and just became unstoppable.

People weren’t reading into whether they were standing next to one another at training camp or comments in press conferences.

The Slay/Ingram fiasco is akin to when JD McKissic bailed on a handshake deal. It’s out of Brandon Beane’s hands, nobody with a brain is pinning that on him

There is, and should be, some critical questioning of what a mostly-cooked, all-man coverage CB like Slay can really offer the Bills down the stretch, and why is that worth dumping a decent depth DB piece who plays STs?

Curious how much the control of the 53 has shifted since self proclaimed President of Hockey Operations, Terrance Pegula said "I consider myself a football man".

I hadn't quite thought of that until your post and you stated "previously".

Worth noting that Lindy has more than hinted twice in the last week or so about his lack of control of his roster.

This is full tin foil hat theory/conjecture at the moment. But worth noting since they have the same owner.

My take on Pegulas success with the Bills v Sabres has always been that it's been McDermott and Beane vs Terry and that keeps Terry from ruining everything. If McBeane are struggling and Terry is weighing in we could see a lot more turbulance.

As to the bolded, we're doomed!

Here’s some critical questioning, if Howie Roseman claimed Slay, which he reportedly planned to do… how many people would be cursing Beane and praising Howie for bringing in a savvy vet? I’d bet many of the same critical folks on this thread…
