One thing nobody I've seen mention is the at the lineman trying to block Bosa actually has him around the neck and lets go to avoid the holding call.  That's why Bosa was able to get back at Rogers from behind.  Lineman decided getting his star QB destroyed was worth 10 yards.

For as much as the fanbase critiques Brady's playcalling this season this was a masterfully simple gameplan that was executed well. It got the Bills out of there with a win and from what I understand no major injuries other than Bosa who had what was at worst a mild hamstring pull (and most likely was just cautionary pulling a guy with some tightness in a late game that was in control). The Bills needed a dominant win esp from the defense and they got just that.

Totally agree.  It was awesome on every level.  2 points:

 

1. I recall Bishop coming up limping late in the game.  It’ll be worth watchin to see if he pops on the injury report on Wednesday. 
 

2. I loved the run heavy game plan, especially in the conditions yesterday.   But he needs to be able to adjust and switch up the game plan better during a game.  Because teams WILL be able to contain the running game. It’s happened this season.   So for as good as he was this week, let’s see if he can keep it going with a more creative passing attack, as well.

All the more mystifying they couldnt figure out the exact same plan would also have beaten the Texans 10 days ago and had the division in our hands 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

The question that remains is what happens come playoff time and you run into team that shuts down the run. Can they effectively move the ball through the air. Injuries and talent have played a part but think Brady deserves the majority of the blame. He is not at LSU anymore and is not fielding an all star team where he can do whatever he wants. I am hoping once we get healthy we will see improvement but still a question mark. The pass offense has taken step back since he has been the OC and I just want to see a nice balance where you keep defenses on their heels where they don't know what is coming.

Noting the bold above; I have heard several pundits describe the Bills passing game as simple. Lots of “mesh” crossing / rubs. So I agree more creative is needed including ways getting our RBs into the passing game (and I don’t mean those quick passes behind the line of scrimmage to the edge). 
It is worth noting that on the TD to Coleman, Knox was wide open due to Ty Johnson’s rub that worked beautifully.

I saw the hold on Bosa during the game. You are absolutely right, O lineman let Bosa go.

People act like the Bills have done nothing to address the passing game, They have dumped both Moore and Samuel. They very quietly put Davis on IR practice squad and they picked up Cooks for nothing, both are better than Moore and Samuel. I’ve seen the comments about Cooks age, he is the same age as Diggs.

Agreed.  They’re trying.   And Beane even tried for something big at the trade deadline.  My only issue there was he should’ve put his eggs in another basket.. not going after an interdivision WR.  

 

BUT …really glad they seem to have finally moved on from Samuel.  Let’s hope Cooks provides more than his lackluster efforts.   
 

I have hope Brady and the passing offense can turn it around.  I suspect we’ll know after 2 weeks.  Bengals and Pats will be tough to beat without more of a passing offense… I think.

I don’t know that anyone is poaching him as an OC and he seems happy here.

This is a concern. The Bills of the Daboll era wanted to run, sure, but were at least equally able to win by passing it. I'm not sure that's the case under Brady, the Bills are not as multiple in how they can dominate, it's entirely through the run game.

What made me happy yesterday was intentionally involving the backs in the passing offense.  I'm very jealous of how the 49ers use McCaffery in their offense - they just want the ball in his hands with room to operate.  Up until this game the backs were simply outlets if none of Josh's primary reads were available.  To have the backs in space on a called play with blockers available because that's the design of the play is a big step forward in my book.
 

Moving Josh around a bit also made me happy.  Every defense has known exactly where he was gonna be.  Rollouts and moving pockets is another step forward.
