Because we don't have enough cap room to absorb his accelerated hit if we cut him.

Anyone reminded of when Costanza briefly worked for Play Now? 🤔😁

because he costs more to cut than to keep lol.

We dumped Von before his contract was up and that was way more $$.  Somehow Samuel stays.

They can dump him in the spring but they can't do it NOW.

You don't know what you are talking about.

Bills are hoping that their medical staff will be awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine, when they luck into the cure for turf toe.

In 2024, McDermott kept saying Samuel was "week to week."  It has been revealed McDermott was actually saying "Weak!  Too weak!"

@ColoradoBillsis correct. It's not so much of the amount in comparison of the two contracts, but the ability to take on the dead cap hit during the season. Notice we let Von go after the season ended.

I never said they should do it NOW.  It should HAVE been done when it COULD have been because Samuel has done nothing here.

You must be fun at parties Mister "you don't know what you are talking about".

In the 3 playoff games last season, he was 6 of 8 for 80 yards and two scores. Running it back on O like they did and moving on from Samuel would have been a bad call, not only from a roster standpoint point but also financially. It would have cost them an extra 3 million dollars this year to do that. All things considered he’s been a terrible investment, I don’t think anyone will argue otherwise. Regardless they were not in a position to move on from him last offseason, but it’s no doubt they will this up coming year.
