Buffalo716 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) After a 41 to 34 win against canisius in the Monsignor Martin championship game(which Sean McDermott was in attendance) they have earned their spot in the New York State Catholic championship game Against Iona prep the number one team in New York state St Francis has never won a New York state Catholic championship at the highest level They have their chance now against AAA Iona prep With a high-powered offense I think they could get it done versus the gaels.. they're going to need to put up close to 40 to get it done versus AAA powerhouse Iona prep Good luck to St Francis in the state championship in a few days Edited 7 hours ago by Buffalo716 5 1 Quote

St. Francis is in my heart as a lot if fine memories. My younger cousins shared a homeroom due to the spelling of their names from Polian, Telesco, Caldwell, and finally same classroom as Daboll. Back then we were divided up by Honors, CP1, 2, and 3. Homeroom was simply by name as they didn’t want some kids to feel elitist due to academic performance. I know it’s not Bills, but when I occasionally read this stuff, it reminds me of my childhood, so again thanks 716. Quote
BuffaloBaumer Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Congrats to East Aurora boys soccer Class A State Champions. A historic moment as the smallest school in the tournament (500) defeats the largest school in Rye (1,200). 1 Quote

This is where the waves from Lake Erie crash over route 5 during windstorms. Foits, Hoaks and the Bayview Beach Club (I remember seeing John Valby there). Edited 2 hours ago by Psautcsk Quote

I’d beg them for an extra fish fry, and normally they sent us a cheese pizza (lent), but once a month they’d bring myself and one of my siblings a fish fry to split. 1 Quote

My dad would go to a place right near Hoaks to get us fish fry every Friday. I grew up in Lakeview. Quote

I played soccer for OPHS in the 80s and always found East Aurora a tough opponent. Edited 4 minutes ago by Haslett_Stomp Quote
