Like a Saleh was what I said. Make them an asst HC if it helps and pay them more. As for an OC getting promoted, why not? We did with McDermott as a DC. We need to have someone that can surround Josh and create an offense that moves the ball better.

I blame McD. He wants a low risk safe run first offense to protect his crappy defense. He hired Brady and Brady developed this crap offense to appease his boss. But I’m beginning to think Brady is unqualified and unable to run an NFL offense period, which is also McD’s fault for hiring him. I’m on the fire McDermott bandwagon. He’s had his chance and failed. He drafts players and hires coaches he is comfortable with and values “high character” players over  higher talent players. He's all about his “culture” at the expense of fielding a more talented team. He has promoted his coordinators from within because they are easier to manage and he can dictate what he wants to them. He’s surrounded himself with yes men and a Boy Scout culture but now his team is devoid of top shelf talent. Besides Josh and Cook, who else is do they have? His coach speak and tired cliche’s have grown old and monotonous. How many times are you going to watch the tape and learn from this? His team can’t tackle!!!!!!!! Never could and never will. He keeps bringing back old washed up former players because he is comfortable with them and knows they will accept his flaws. Everyone at One Bills Drive is way too “comfortable”. It’s a feel good happy place where you can take weeks off making millions until you feel 100%. His free agent signings hardly play and never help the team. He can’t develop rookies and draft choices. Bottom line is he sucks!!!!

True that may be the difference is the turnovers.  Recall over the summer even reading one article that predicted the Bills wouldn't do as well this year as their turnover ratio from last year wasn't likely sustainable.  I guess they were correct.

 

That may also explain why they are still #2, but look much worse than last year.  TO likely also result in better starting field position too.

It’s both,  McDermott wants the offense to play in such a way that it covers his defenses, at present worthless scheme, and players lack of execution, and Brady doesn’t push back, toss in Beane for his refusal to draft or trade for quality receivers for the offense, and you get what we got, if it wasn’t for Allen this team would be a bottom dweller, jmo.

If you blame Brady, then you have to blame Mcdermott also.

If to fire Beane and Brady we have to fire McD- then fire all 3!  Anything to get rid of Beane!!!!!!!  Brady sucks as well

I’ve been wondering about this and wanted to hear some opinions. Last week against Tampa, the offense looked creative and explosive, even with backups in key spots. Then last night we went right back to the predictable, run-heavy approach…and we all saw how that ended.

 

So is Brady actually designing the offensive game plan, or is McDermott too involved and getting in the way? Personally, I think it’s McD. He’s a great coach overall and a good team builder bringing men together, but he needs to stay in his lane. To me, he still feels more like a great defensive coordinator than a true head coach when it comes to the whole team and offensive involvement.  He would be a great Defensive Coordinator somewhere else and great at it when he can focus only on that.  

 

I wish McD would just let Brady do his thing from here on out and stay out of the offense and play Josh ball.  We still may have lost last night but at least they would have been having fun IMO.  Thoughts???

    

No matter who was calling the plays in the Texans game you can't get much production from who ever when your constantly running of your life and not taking what the opposition is giving you .

 

Just like other games Josh had some players wide open at times and didn't take them for what ever the reason, when ever there is that much pressure Josh try's to get more than just what he needs to keep a drive alive there were times when Knox, Cook ad quite possibly some others were open and Josh wanted to make a bigger play but given the circumstances he needs to take what's right in front of him .

I dunno - watching the video of each sack at least it looked like no one was open...at all. Coulda thrown it away I guess but a bunch were 3rd down scenarios too.
