The fact is that these people are leaders within their party who seem to be pro-Hitler. That’s gotta be at least a little bit alarming. Putting that aside, I see a bunch of fat losers there who can’t get OPP (or, to your desires, OPA) and they hate the world. Lose a little weight and don’t be a douche and maybe they’ll have better luck. Hoax. You recently spent a lot of time on your soapbox decrying the rhetoric coming from both sides. You accomplished that without so much as a tsk, tsk towards your ideological teammates here. Now you don’t even have the character to comment on: 1 hour ago, Roundybout said: It’s on us to expose them further, harass their families, and bully their children into submission. B-Man Posted Wednesday at 03:10 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:10 PM Sorry, Democrats, You Can't Shame Us Into Submission Anymore They say that desperation is the world's worst cologne. And the Democrat Party is more drenched in it right now than that one guy in the club back in the '80s who used an entire bottle of Drakkar Noir every Saturday night. If you missed it yesterday, Politico tried to throw a Hail Mary to Jay Jones and the other Democrats who refuse to disavow his murder fantasies by leaking some group chat messages from some young, college Republicans. I am not here to defend the things those young kids said in private (some of the messages were pretty ugly), but, as Vice President JD Vance noted last night, nothing in those leaked messages even remotely approached what Jones repeatedly said to another Virginia legislator about how he dreamed of seeing Republicans and their children dead. https://twitchy.com/grateful-calvin/2025/10/15/sorry-democrats-you-cant-shame-us-into-submission-anymore-n2420376

This has to do with a bunch of Young Republicans - yes, they think they're leaders in training, and that training lasts until they're big ass grown men of 40 - with Cartman's sense of humor. And some were already ascending in the ranks. And the fact that they think nobody in their little club would ever object to their moronic patter shows how they view their very own Republican Party. Guess what? Looks like one of their own spilled the beans to Politico. 1

The record shows 28,000 people and counting contributed to the legal defense fund of a lunatic who stalked and murdered a man by shooting him the back. I’d characterize those folks as part of the Jonesian tree, comfortable with his stated preference with resolving political differences as he sees fit. There’s no moral high ground here, Frank. 1 1

Jay Jones disqualified himself. Not with that stupid joke about 3 villains, two bullets. But with that truly offensive one about the kids of an opponent. These obnoxious "young" Republicans have likewise disqualified themselves from the public lives they were hoping for when they became leaders of their groups. The internet giveth connections, and the internet taketh away career opportunities. 1

If you can’t do that, this is nothing more than partisan reflex disease which prevents you from thinking logically. Calling all MAGA trash you don’t like is a different issue. 1

Hillary Clinton and the Democrat party partnered with a foreign national looking to impact the outcome of our election process. Turns out that was no big deal to many, many democrats. Bill Clinton paid a sh-t ton of hush money to settle a sexual assault case, and was one of the main faces of dem leadership pitching Kamala Harris as the next big thing. There are countless other stories in play here, and I guess tine will tell on who gets disqualified and who does not.

There are countless other stories in play here, and I guess tine will tell on who gets disqualified and who does not. Yeah, that's all beside the point. I know I'm old, but I can't imagine ever saying, much less putting in writing, things like "yeah, but he's a Jew so he can't be trusted." (I'm paraphrasing, but it's close). The fact that the members of this large group chat just assumed that everyone else on the chat would find jokes about bringing back gas chambers and black people eating watermelons hilarious says a lot about the group as a whole. Observation: to the extent it's a generational thing, the generation that thinks this is ok is in their mid-20s and 30s. Younger people, the true "Gen Z" (as I see from my kids and their friends) are a lot more circumspect about what they say/post online. I hope that this reflects their internal attitudes too.
wnyguy Posted Wednesday at 04:42 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:42 PM There is simply no defending these texts. I find it disgusting and hope that those who wrote them and those who went along with it pay the consequences.
