Over the past few years, if there's been one thing holding this team back, it's the incompetence around Josh Allen in the wide receiver room. Newsweek preaching to the choir AMEN But the correct receiver is the Key ! You have described Shaheed as just that. and agreed now on both points of need and finding that player for us. But incompetence is a strong word for the current WR. Injuries have affected the plan Quote

In fact, when Shaheed went down to injury last year, the Saints brought MVS in to replace him. And he made some huge plays. The reason he was a FA at the time? He was cut from the Bills to make room for Cooper and he was expendable because Josh could never hit him on any of the big plays. Shaheed is a really good player. But he's not what this offense, this QB or this OC know how to take advantage of. Is this a critique on Josh as well? Quote

Just wanted to check you before i agreed , to a degree. his 1st few years ( and my mind is of a lesser being for detail ) I thought Allen was All Day with the go routes. Just needed a John Brown to shift a gear and go get it. and he did ! Do you recall those days ? stuck in my mind that his threat was not his touch balls from the pocket , it was his fast balls , and the near horizontal long balls lol outside the hash marks ! 1 Quote

But if teams have absolutely zero fear of it from a multiple standpoint of both Josh not being great at it and no one getting open - things remain the same. They'll continue to crowd the line of scrimmage, key in on Cook, send Safeties, and make life incredibly difficult in the short to intermediate areas. Josh has to work on it. He may never be great at it. But if we can get someone with deep speed and separation, they have to at least respect it. Even if he only hits it once in a while. 1 Quote

Blackbeard Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago Saying that pic has anything to do with coming to Buffalo is a far cry from what it is. a pic of him on game day in Buffalo. Nothing more. Quote

Old news and literally meaningless. It's one of 7 random photos of himself he posted in an album. Couldn't roll my eyes enough at people reading things into it. Should every photo of a player in uniform in another teams stadium mean that they're going to that team? It's just one of seven photos of himself that he liked and wanted to post. The fact that it was in our stadium has nothing to do with anything. People acting like he posted "Buffalo Soldier" or something... Edited 21 minutes ago by BillsFanForever19 Quote
