We watch McD's defense crap the bed every year in the playoffs, we have the #2 offense in football since Brady took over, and this is the conclusion you come to? This place is truly insufferable after a loss.

The defense is so bad a lot of the time but there’s a recurring pattern where they get a couple big late stops to give the offense a chance and the team comes up short.  I think people are starting to notice it’s unfortunately a little bit more complicated than only blaming the defense

Don't get me wrong, Brady and the offense as a whole were bad tonight. I'm just saying that acting like Brady is what's standing in the way of a Lombardi is crazy to me.

Well to be fair no one said that.

In fact the very first sentence of the very first post states that Brady is not the only problem. But he is *a* problem.

Something I didn’t like is that Knox caught that TD, got open the next series on that 2nd down pass that was deflected, and then even with Kincaid out he didn’t get another target all game. Someone should remind Brady and Josh that Knox was a pro bowl alternate for a reason before Kincaid showed up.

That’s fair I glossed over that part

I thought that when Brady take over it was an emergency move to stop the bleeding from the terrible decision to hire Dorsey. Then they promoted him to OC last year. The only reason that he still has a job is Allen. Brady has been given the keys to the Lamborghini but he doesnt know how to drive stick. He would prefer to drive his Hyundai Elantra at the speed limit thank you very much (with a "new driver at the wheel sign in the rear window"). Nobody is open on passing downs (partly due to quality of WR but mostly do to scheme). In crucial situations, including last year's playoff game vs KC they couldnt get the yardage required because the defense seemed to know what was coming from the vanilla offensive game plan. When a slightly exotic play happens it looks like it was practiced once or twice and the players seem confused. Brady isnt the only problem but he is a major issue but as usual in here people have been too damn polite to say so. Its been  " we are 4-0, stop complaining". Well it appears that we are as much of a fraud as the Ravens are, just luckier.

Cook not playing when the game is in the balance is really odd.

It happened last week against new England too.  We were wondering if he was hurt.

The last 2 games, both losses, the offense was the problem.  If it isnt a pre-scripted opening drive or coming out of halftime, they have nothing.

This has been happening since last year.

Fourth down in the AFC championship game, the biggest player of the entire year, Cook is watching from the sidelines.

When McDermott was asked after the game why Cook was not in the game at certain points, McDermot responded “good point”, seemingly throwing Joe Brady under the bus.

So now its Joe Brady?  I'm not disagreeing with you, but asking you to dig a little deeper and pull the roots up

It is Brady now, it is Babich now.....then it will be the guys who replace them who are at fault....  while the one constant in all of this will still be hanging around in five years mumbling something about complementary football.
