Well yeah, they did. If not the Bills defense that let them make the plays , who was it ? Look the kid QB was pretty good. They put up 23 points against an average defense. The Bills turned the ball over and took a lot of undisciplined penalties. If they played their usual game and put up around 30 like they typically do they win. The QB looks like he can play and has a chance to be pretty good though. He’s far from elite but he’s got a shot.

I thought he was great. Made some impressive throws while showing poised under pressure. That last drive for the winning fg was stellar. With Vrabel coaching and McDaniel scheming plays Pats are ascending. 
 

With all that said I think the Saints will get them this week.

Definitely appears he will be a thorn in the Bills' side for years to come. Will he be the thorn that is Jackson or Mahomes, maybe or maybe not, but last night showed his thorn is sharp enough to give the Bills an "L" when the Bills come out with a lackluster performance. They can no longer underestimate the Patriots, not with that QB and HC.

Call me crazy, but I think he played better against Bills last night than Jackson ever has.

Thats my fear! They are riding so high 2 huge wins in a row and the Saints look awful this year has let down game written all over it.. mind you I think I may bet on the Bills winning big this coming weekend.. they are gonna play mad

Pretty much this.
What’s even worse is the defensive line finally got some consistent pressure but the secondary had lapses and had them pretty much all game. 
 

Would be interested to see how much man coverage the Bills ran last night.

Your defense is not average. QB has to make the right reads and accurate throws, especially being constantly rush out of the pocket. And to not turnover the ball in a hostile environment.

The Bills D is a pretty average unit. They gave up around what they usually do. That’s to the likes of Tua and Spencer Rattler. The Bills offense threw up on their shoes and that was the difference last night. They usually give the Bills leads and cover up somewhat for the defense.

Lol going by just stats proves to me that you'd haven't watched this particular bills defense. They are not above average what so ever. You saw our starting cb 2 who couldn't cover anything. Our run defense has been probably the worst in the NFL. So yes be proud you're team came into Buffalo and got a big time win, but also know it wasn't against a good defense.

How many rush yards did the saints put up...go check that stat 😂. Also they benched trey white in the saints game for the rookie who was just put on ir this week. Again context matters when just posting stats

Are you trying to argue that we're above average?

 

I think "average" is actually very generous for how this D has played so far this season. If you're not watching the games & just going by stats, you're kind of missing it.

You're OB had a good game, but he is right this Bills defense is pretty average. No one's saying Maye won't turn into a elite player but the defense he played well against has major major flaws

Maye will never be Allen, he's not as physical or as fast a runner, and that's what separates Allen. Maye's play style and talent level are that of Justin Herbert, those 2 guys are clones. 

 

Last night he rose to the occasion and made many big plays in the 2nd half. I think he was 13 of 14 for 188 yards with no turnovers or bad plays in the 2nd half, as the game went back and forth. Numerous 20 yard plays. It was a clean, excellent performance.

See I know this message board too well. a lot of you overact to every little thing. I have watched Bills games. You're not a SB favorite and damn near unblemished if your defense is "just average". Do they break down every now and then, yea. It happens. But I think most outside of Buffalo think the Bills are believed to have a solid defense.

I don’t get the love affair people have with total yards. Who cares if you give up 1000 yards what matters is points. The last 4 games the Bills D has averaged just over 18 points a game (18.25) that’s a good defense. I took the Ravens out because it was week 1 and well it was an O fist fight. But your D played well enough to win last night, the O turned it over 3 times 1 was inside the 20 and on turnovers gave up only 3 points.. what more could you ask?  Last night was 2 D fighting hard and 1 coming up just short. Both are good and will only get better in time.
