BillsFanForever19 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 (edited) Andrew Booth was mine and many other posters CB of choice where we were picking in the 2022 Draft, instead of Kaiir Elam. He ended up being selected 42nd in the Draft, after concerns of a Sports Hernia injury. He would be traded to the Cowboys last season and released in final cuts this season. Elam wasn't the choice, but Booth wouldn't have been either. Either way, I thought it interested that we brought him in for a look. We do have an open veteran spot on the Practice Squad with Matt Prater being called up, so he could be a candidate there. Unless Davis is close to ready and they just want to move him from Injured to Active into Prater's position. Edited September 10 by BillsFanForever19 2 1 Quote
4merper4mer Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Based on name alone, they picked the wrong punter. Opposing returners would be coughing up those hayballs. Quote

CNYfan Posted September 10 Posted September 10 (edited) In the leadup to the Elam (2022) draft there were enough DBs to go around with Booth being the favorite of many on this Board. Early the week of the draft the news broke that Booth had a precarious injury situation. I remember it being more of neck situation, but it may have been a sports hernia, and he was crossed off many boards. McDuffie, Elam and K. Gordon were left for the Bills, KC and others. Elam was not a favorite of the Board and was being openly dissed as a non-tackler by someone on this Board. The Chiefs made their move for McDuffie and the Bills took Elam over Gordon. My memory is that the Booth injury was not a temporary situation but some permanent and maybe dangerous (for him) condition. But before the news broke he was the hope for many on this Board who again knew the Bills needed a CB. Edited September 10 by CNYfan spelling Quote

Quote Tennessee Titans punter Ryan Stonehouse suffered a season-ending left knee injury on December 3, 2023, against the Indianapolis Colts. The complex injury involved a torn ACL and a repair of the posterolateral corner of his knee, along with a partial dislocation. After surgery and extensive rehabilitation, Stonehouse was cleared to return to practice in July 2024 and made his return to the field in August 2024 for the team's preseason finale Edited September 10 by boyst Quote
