The Cincinnati Kid Posted September 2 Posted September 2 I don’t see too many Losses for the Bills this year. Ravens, Chiefs, Buccaneers, Bengals and Eagles all travel to Buffalo. Highmark is tough on road teams. 1 home loss, maybe. They’re superior to all of their other opponents. I think 14-3, 13-4 are very realistic. 5 losses would be abysmal. 1 Quote

Ray Stonada Posted September 2 Posted September 2 14-3 1 seed We make the Super Bowl Can’t jinx us by predicting any further than that Quote
Gregg Posted September 2 Posted September 2 12-5 win the AFCE. Lose in the divisional round to the Chiefs. Ravens vs Lions Super Bowl with the Ravens winning it. Quote

My gut tells me that the Bengals win the North. I just feel like they were on the wrong end of too many close losses last year (I mean, just look at their losses: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/cin/2024.htm)and will flip the script this year. Their offense is going to be tough for any opponent to handle, and Burrow with that receiver combo is just too good. Quote
JP51 Posted September 2 Posted September 2 I just cant do it... all of these predictions seem reasonable... I for my own sanity cant leave... 1 game at a time mode... just take one game at a time... but I will give some NFL thoughts Chiefs - I don't see the overall feeling the Chiefs will be appreciably worse... I get some in their division got a bit better, I get they won some close games, but thats what winners do... they return Mahomes, Reid, and Jones... they may not be the one seed, and they may not win 15 games... but I don't see them being dethroned in the division.. Ravens- straight up they scare me, maybe they shouldn't come play off time, but they do... worry about our defense in the regular season especially, colder weather and conditions have proven to be an equalizer in the winter months, I like our chances better in the post season than the season opener... that may not be a bad thing and that division they play in is brutal... they better sweep the Browns... Patriots - Vrabel and his discipline I think will prove to be a positive combination for them... they play within themselves and consistently. Maye as a QB benefits from this as I think he is gonna be a pretty good QB, but Vrabel will keep him grounded in the consistent fundamentals this will bode well for his development as he wont be allowed to play hero ball... Between the Stillers and the Pats for the 7th seed... we have a very good chance of splitting this season series... Dolphins - either they completely implode and Grier and McDaniel lose the room and there are firings mid season OR they surprise everyone, Tua stays healthy and they actually are competitive and something to worry about at least in the regular season... My bet is on the tire fire for the record. Jets- Justin Fields isn't it, they have enough to go 5 or 6 wins... lose out on a top 5 pick and are still looking for a QB... Stillers - Rodgers could set this team alive they have a nice supporting cast and they have gotten some weapons... if he stays healthy I see a team that could get to 9 or 10 wins again... I like them being able to compete with the Ravens... but alas... Rodgers I don't think makes it a full season and they probably are out or a rd 1 exit Bengals - I have no idea what to make of these guys... literally... no idea. My hunch is that they are 2nd in the division and 5 or 6 playoff seed. But geez, they can be a mess when they want to... Jacksonville, Chargers, Broncos - arrow up - I think Lawrence, Herbert come back to the land of the competent, you can win with this quy at QB... not necessarily elite but pushing that level... Nix I wonder about a bit of a sophomore slump, but that Defense is gonna keep them in games and give him the ball alot. Colts, Raiders, Browns -arrow down. all searching for a QB, Raiders with a new coach wondering about his relevance in todays NFL and the Browns are just a mess... Texans, Titans - neutral I see about the same from them this year... I see the Texans winning the division but not a superbowl threat, Titans gonna lose alot more than they win... Titans seem to lack a direction or even identity, they may win a game or two more but they are a ways from relevance. Bills - I will leave it at, Capable of winning it all... will their coaching and their defense allow it... stay tuned. Quote

Last season he stayed healthy all year but he's been injury prone throughout his career and they haven't fixed their OL issues. Can they score 35 PPG and brute force their way in? Sure, they almost did it last year. I just can't predict that in a loaded conference. 1 Quote
