Worst one would still be the Cascadia Subduction Zone.  The tsunami that would generate would inundate several major metropolitan areas.

I really hope this doesn’t mess with our Super Bowl destiny this year. I mean, the curse has limits, right? 

 

 

I kid, but this is scary stuff. Nobody saw Covid coming, and we took normal life for granted. A major eruption could make Covid look like a burp.

Or we could get hit by an asteroid tomorrow, or war could break out over any number of things, or Yellowstone could erupt, or Anak Krakatau could erupt or collapse or both, or any number of fault lines could create a massive earthquake, or the island of La Palma could collapse and create a giant tsunami in the Atlantic, or your flight could run out of coffee....

 

You get my point.  You can't worry about these things.  There are too many of them, they are 100% out of your control, and on a long enough timeline all of them will happen.

You get my point.  You can't worry about these things.  There are too many of them, they are 100% out of your control, and on a long enough timeline all of them will happen.

 

I don’t worry about them for a second. I’m not built that way, but I know some people who would be absolutely irate if they ran out of coffee!
