Let’s hope the peace can hold and both sides can see a future they desire - that would be wonderful. If he can avoid doing stupid illegal dictatorial stuff at home, this could be the defining achievement of his presidency.

In different eras of conflict other President's such as Lincoln and FDR were accused of, and took, authoritarian actions. One to save the Union the other to save the free world. Not suggesting Trump is headed for Mt. Rushmore but his act is nothing new or unique to American history.
